Aircraft and most especially helicopters can be lightly modified to perform combat missions. I gave you a picture of a modified Augusta helicopter above, besides some of these helicopters under the president fleet have the ability to carry external loads and some avionics to support the loads. I do know that such modification would lack features found in military aircraft such as ejection seats.

Toyota hilux is for private or rather non military use, but terrorists and some established military formations have found ways to install triopd on them to carry AA guns, enhance the suspension to support the extra weight.

It's obvious Nigeria can't maintain even one of those aircrafts on yearly basis. What's the essence of dashing some to the NAF which also will be burdened with the cost of maintaining the aircrafts too. Our NAF actually needs fighter jets now and not enjoyment planes.

We are a poor country. Release those planes on Jumia
or OLX for sales now.

I'm not an Aviation expert but I do know that the buying and selling of an aircraft has to pass through a process that's internationally acceptable which is tedious. Now that the sales adverts are out, it then follows that work was going on behind the scene.
We're getting out of the era of waste gradually. Besides, the ones transfered to NAF are going to battle filed.

PMB will probably be transferring the last 2 Augusta Helicopter to be weaponised and use by the Air force isn't a bad idea unless wailers are still looking for loopholes to wail further.
