How to stop thinking about childhood trauma


First know that it’s not your fault. Just like water you’ll feel a lot of emotions and all you have to do is allow your self to feel it, reflect on it, accept, and let it pass.


Acknowledge your pain and never run away from it.


Have self compassion for yourself and love yourself! Speak kindly to yourself like how you would do to your loved ones.
Unfortunately there is no way to stop thinking about childhood trauma.


Just need to learn how to live with it. Your trauma has made you the person you are today.


No one should have to go through any trauma in our lives however, life is not that simple.


Try writing it all down and forgive those who has done this to you. You can forgive but you can not forget.
Distract your mind when it veers off in that direction.



Try music, hobbies, exercise and if you are still struggling while doing these things then it might be worth considering a therapist.


I really struggle with this too, I’ve had alot of trauma from childhood right up until now and sometimes it completely takes over my mind, I really have to focus on bringing myself back to the present and remembering that the past is exactly
