ugwumichael: Alright I get your point, but careful examination on some spouses that use there spouse as punching bags will reveal to you that probably it's something there dad has been doing to there mom, making them to view wife battering as a normal thing. Not in all cases, people change, and pressure can change you too. |

Myer: It's all about understanding. Women by nature must nag. Only few women don't nag.
If you're not so lucky and you have a nagging wife, the solution is obviously not to hit or beat her. The solution is to find a way to make her see how much you need peace at home.
Some times this might mean staying out late. Some times this might be achieved by you bringing her gifts to appease the goddess.. Na heir automatic mumu button be that. I wish a lady would prove me wrong.LOL
But hitting or beating your wife is never the solution. Thanks this is every wise and insightful♥️ |

NovesaTillie: She did not change. She is manifesting her true colors. You too use psychological treatment on her,it is more powerful than raising hands to beat her. Do you remember when children will see their mom who spank them every day and be jumping up but at the mention of their father who doesn't even lay a finger on them they will scamper for safety? It is psychological Smiles... You seem like someone with deep experience on Marital affairs. |

ExudeLoveToAll: It doesn't make you a man when you beat someone else, it's totally an assault irrespective of whether it is your wife or 5someone else. I must admit it is a serious dilemma if one finds 5himself in such serious situations, for a repeat offender it is necessary sometimes to assert yourself when it comes to making decisions that can lead to nipping such life-threatening traits out of such person. Failing to address such habits can actually lead to blood pressure issues over a period of time. I must admit I don't subscribe to using violence to solve this, but if my non-violent approach doesn't work over and over again there will be a need to involve third party family members which personally I don't really like. If this persists after all options have been laid bare, then renegotiation of my peace will be sacrosanct. True |

DrMoney1: I have been divorce four times and even as I know divorce is not always the answer and I need to fix that part of myself, I will still applaud the fact that I have never beaten any of my women before. It's stupidity and nothing but cowardice. Wow, divorced 4 times you should try to talk to someone especially someone you can connect with. Proud of your stance on wife Battery♥️ |

ugwumichael: It makes you less a man. No matter how a woman nags, raising your hands on her only shows the kind of family you came from. I beg to pardon your last statement of the kind of family one comes from is over generalised and it's unwise to assume such, be open to reasons than clinching to outdated clichés. |

NovesaTillie: The good book says it is better to live in a house with leaking roof than living with a nag.
Hitting your wife in any form for any reasons makes you an abuser and a violent person. Like how will you even think of hitting her is she your child? Let me tell you something my father said, women are like children and children are ignorant of many things. The best way to instill discipline and command respect in your home as the man of the house is through psychological means, actions like not eating her food, sleeping on the same bed with her but never having sex with her, silent treatment. These things melt any woman to either show remorse because she doesn't know you next actions or expose her true character and you can end the marriage.
Hitting a woman is like beating a child. The first time Will definitely scare her, second time she will see you like a beast and the next time it happens she will begin to formulate defence mechanisms. If you are unlucky she will kill you by poisoning. Wow This is really deep, I keep wondering why a woman change from been sweet, gentle and kind within a short while in marriage. |

Poleski: I was born and bred into a strong religious family. My late Godly father put me in a seminary (one of the best at the time) so I could become a priest. Before I graduated, I lost faith in religion.
I became a "born again" Christian at the school, a prayer warrior, I led masses. In fact, I did everything a true child of God was supposed to do in order to actually experience God. But nothing came up. I searched for God but got only disappointments.
My prayer warrior team tried to "heal" one of us who was crippled. We ended up making his condition worse. We went to a nearby hospital to pray for the sick. We gave them hope that they would be discharged early within a month. Three months later, we went back and were surprised to see the same group of sick people we prayed for. And many other things that proved to me that God is weak or doesn't exist. I chose the latter.
After all these years, I've come to the conclusion that religion is all about money and power. Nobody has proved, beyond doubt, the existence of God. Till today, there is none. The Bible is not a reliable history book; it's an interesting book rewritten by many people with various changes. It shouldn't be presented as "evidence of God."
In my seminary school, we read the whole Bible, and many things in it don't make sense at all. The Bible has a lot of volent incidents, especially where children were slaughtered, pepertrated by a God that religious people claim to be peaceful and forgiving. Look around the world today and you will see a lot of devastation caused by nature and humans. It doesn't look like a world created by a God. A true God would create a world where there is no evil and no suffering.
If anyone shows me just one real prove of God's existence, I'll become a believer again and beg in public for God's mess. I'm not holding my breathe for this. You have had your experiences and I respect that, as a man you must put God ahead of religion, religion are factions of ideology people adopt as their means of getting through to the creator.. Don't make the mistake of searching for God in religion, God has created all things good but man in his wickedness has corrupted most of God's creation, God is merciful always remember that and he has given us free will.. A quick question will you kill you biological son cause he stole one thousand #1000 naira from your wallet? I believe you won't, so no father destroys his creation in a attempt to fix something that is wrong... Search God in your heart not in other people. |

I understand the frustration a man can face due to pressure from work, extended family, peer pressure and other forms of issues which could fall in the range of financial, religious, promiscuous (women) colleagues at work and all that.
It's more disturbing when the man comes home after the days work hoping to find peace only to be greeted with a nagging woman and an ungrateful wife who seizes every opportunity to complain, bring up issues at every slight opportunity.
I do not subscribe to hitting a women but sometimes this cruel and vile rage crawls up to give her a resounding slap, which I strongly over come due to my descipline and principles.
I see some other men flare up in rage and beat their wife this in turn makes their wife fear and respect them unlike what is obtainable with me..
Please guys does hitting your wife when she errs makes one a man who is in total control of his home?
