Immatex:"For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, And shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob." (Rom 11: 25 & 26) God does not abandon His covenant like men do with marriages etc. He may have occasionally punished them and extended the gospel of grace to the gentiles, but He is bound by His words. If you're a Christian, then you're a Christian, not. Jew or Israelite. Anywhere the Bible mentions Israel, it's talking about this same Israel. Nothing like 'spiritual' Israel. Why do you think Israel cannot be defeated, despite being surrounded by enemies?? You think America's greatness is down to their "individual brilliance" as humans? Or you think they don't know what they're doing?Or you think God does not play a part in the affairs of men today as individuals, society, or nation? Not everything is down to physical efforts or a lack of it. This life is more spiritual than physical. |
Saw-scaled viper, one of the most dangerous snakes in Africa. It has dark, irregular spots or blotches along the back. It has a short, thick body for its length. Its head is lightly triangular and broader than the neck. It is known for its defensive posture, forming a loop and making a rasping “sizzling” sound by rubbing its scales together. It’s venomous and responsible for a significant number of snakebite fatalities in rural West Africa. It is active at night and often found in dry, rocky, or savanna areas. |
Wow. I never knew the power of conspiracy theories, of brainwashing, of mass deception until now. I previously didn't believe a mass of people, some actual graduates, could swallow a blatant illogic hook, line, and sinker. Wasted education, right? Just WOW! Nicompoops wearing a badge of a graduate. You should be ashamed of yourself. Now I understand Adolf Hitler. How he was able to hoodwink Nazi Germany into a senseless war by selling lies and illogicality to them. I've actually met a few in real life who believe their savior "mazi" on this garbage he sold them. I just couldn't argue. I laughed so hard and left them to their folly. Like what!!!! I thought these my neighbors were actually intelligent enough. It all boils down to hatred and a victim's mentality. These 2 sentiments will make you believe anything from any immature rabble-rouser who appoints himself a "savior" whereas talks like a child and calls everyone "stupid" and accepts people worship. SPITS. And oh, I'm not Yoruba. I'm full blown Deltan. |
Great! But I think the most notable points are that you spoke at a general meeting where the MD was present and he personally invited you. You seized the opportunity. But what about the proposal you presented to the marketing manager earlier? She'd probably dump it somewhere and never mention it to the MD or management since you're not related to her. Alternatively she'll add a point or 2 and present it as her own idea or ask someone she favors to present it. Thank God it worked out well in your situation. |
PR stunts that will backfire. IT'S OBVIOUSLY A LIE. Let them show you their certs. That cleaner and gateman were coached to say what they said and still, they couldn't express the script well. The poly graduate too said first class (lol. Nothing like that in poly). Oga interviewer was obviously on the lie too with the madam owner. |
Have you changed your WhatsApp number? Message still not delivered after 2 days. |
My brother, the first thing to do (including when people lose their phone) is to call telecom network and get your SIM blocked asap. Next switch to a new number and update all your contacts about the ongoing scam. Then contact Google to recover your email. They'll block him from everywhere. Gmail will ask you certain security questions if you got like 70%, they'll be convinced. But always, always block your Sim card first. Some people lose their phones and they start rushing to the bank. No, block your Sim card asap. It becomes easier if you activated a recovery email id for your primary email and if you use authenticator (rather than phone number) for your 2-way authentication process Also going forward l, beyond passwording your phone, also password your Sim, WhatsApp, contacts, bank apps etc. Mounting several gates makes it difficult for scammers. Additionally always use long passwords (shorter ones are easier to hack) and use lots of special characters. Of course, make it unpredictable. |
Moses ascended Mount Nebo, in the land of Moab (today in Jordan), and from there he saw the Land of Canaan (the Promised Land), which God had said he would not enter; Moses then died there. Moses is in heaven. God is sovereign and cannot be questioned how He decides certain things. |
I followed the example of Mikel Obi (at least no one can say money was his problem) with his twin girls in far away Russia and enrolled my daughter at age 3. Hardly any year passes when she does not win the overall best pupil in all the school's campuses (they have about 4 in Lagos) and called to the podium to receive gifts and shake hands with the school proprietor. When we wanted to change her school some time ago, a delegation of teachers of 4 came to dissuade us as soon as they suspected that plan was afoot. Back then the mum was almost crying when she was 2 and I said let's wait until 3. I cited Mikel's example. Thank God her dad, who's intellectual, agreed with me. I consider anything earlier than 3 as a waste of time and money, and undue mental pressure on the child (except both parents are extremely busy people). Mind you, even without formal education, the child is not "playing" at age under 3. He/she is actually subconsciously getting the best of informal education from both parents and any caring relative around. The child is actively learning basic/foundational language, communication, and relational skills without any of the parties actively conscious of it. This stage of learning shouldn't be formalized for the child at his/her level of brain development. Formal education should start at 3. |
Tinubu should please sack his speech writer or whoever wrote this. There should be ideally 20 - 25 words in a single sentence. But I'm counting about 70 words in a sentence below. Wowza! . The speech writer is not up to scratch for that level of professional responsibility. Break up your paragraphs. Sorry, sir, but your communication respectfully speaking has been muddled by all the winding texts and paragraphs. There's so much technical flow noise that your voice has drowned out. The abortion, by military fiat, of the decisive victory of Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola of the defunct Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the June 12, 1993, presidential election, up to that time, the fairest and freest election in the country’s political evolution, turned out, ironically, to be the seed that germinated into the prolonged struggle that gave birth to the democracy we currently enjoy since 1999. In rising to strongly oppose the arbitrary annulment of the will of the majority of Nigerians as expressed in that historic election, the substantial number of our people who participated in the struggle to de-annul the election signified their fierce commitment to enthroning democracy as a form of government that best ennobles the liberty, the dignity of the individual and the integrity as well as the stability of the polity. The fierce opposition to the annulment of the June 12, 1993, presidential election and the unrelenting pro-democracy onslaught it unleashed was the equivalent of the battle against colonial rule by our founding fathers that resulted in the gaining of Nigeria’s independence in 1960. |
I walked briskly on one of the connecting paths to the main road that led to church that Sunday morning. I was late to service again and honestly, this time, I couldn’t figure out why. There are always one hundred and one things to do -- even on a Sunday morning. Pheew! This determined transition from a grueling 9 to 5 work life of a Lagos mainland boy to small business ownership is certainly not for the faint of heart. Some clients simply want a mammoth 90 percent of your time for 5 percent of your gross estimate. How does that even make economic sense? But you have to keep up a smiling face and pleasant voice all of the time anyway. Great. Now, I was starting to crowd my mind again with fluff. I wonder how much space is in there. Maybe that’s why I get forgetful sometimes. I lifted my head slightly higher from its previously tilted, reflective position, and the side of my eye caught a faintly familiar figure ambling from the opposite direction. I couldn’t miss that face in a crowded street -- except the road was typically sparse this morning. Her eyes lit up and she locked her gaze on me. A half smile was forming on her lips. Clearly, she recognised me too and now we had to exchange pleasantries. The problem was I couldn’t recall her name or where I knew her from. Dang! A thousand images flashed in my head and my subconscious rummaged through the chaotic jumble to pick out memories of her. No luck. I heaved. The only thing that fleetingly etched on my mind was back then when, after another episode of a blank stare when he wanted to know where I placed an important item, my dad would ask: “But how do you manage to come top of the class when you’re so forgetful?” Well, it puzzled me too. And it's still a mystery to me now. How much room is in the mind again? My old acquaintance was now within touching distance. “Good morning,” I greeted with a plastic smile. “Ah, long time. Good morning,” she acknowledged with a nod. I know I should mention her name out of courtesy and ask about unimportant details, but nothing was popping into my head. I’ve learnt to be honest in such awkward moments. “I'm sorry, I’m really trying to recollect where I know you from,” I said, the pretend grin still plastered on my face. “From Estate,” she said. Fantastic. She said “Estate.” That really helps. 'Estate' must be the name of a place in Lagos! And to imagine I’ve lived in more than two estates in this Lagos… She noticed my eyes were roving in dilemma “Jakande Estate,” she corrected. “Oh, Jakande Estate,” I echoed, still at a loss about where exactly in that place. “How’s oga?” I added and hoped my assumption was right. She looked it. “Fine,” she replied and slowly made to continue on her way. “How’s your brother?” Brother? Which brother? Is it my actual ‘brother’ brother, the one I’m rarely seen with? Or was she referring to Ola, who was so close to me most people assumed he was my brother? Oh, well. Did I say I was late to church already? Satan, be gone now! I hoped the ushers at the door don’t turn me back after several rounds of scolding looks from afar. “Fine,” my voice tailed off as I doubled my steps. I glanced back briefly and she was out of view already.

Lol. Just 2 weeks ago, someone credited me #30K twice and alerted me. I didn't even know any money had been paid. The creditor (lives in Abuja) called to let me (I stay in Lagos) know of the error. I confirmed and transferred back #30K. All done in 2 minutes and I sent a screenshot. How hard can these things be!! ![]() I remember a completely random person credited my airtime and then called to beg me to send it back. I could sense the feeling of hopelessness in his voice as he was seriously pleading before I could even say a word. It felt funny to me. Why will I not send it back? I sent back pronto and he called back to thank me profusely. Hmmm... Na wa for the average Nigerian o. |
The market is saturated. It is filled with brands that do the same thing, offer the same products and services and compete for the same audience. So how do you get your brand noticed? How do you keep your brand in front of your audience? Two words: Brand Personality. A person’s personality determines whether they are likeable or uninteresting, inspiring or bland, attractive or off-putting. Brands are no different. The right brand personality gives your brand a human face, allowing your business to connect more with your target audience and stand out in today’s crowded marketplace. What is brand personality? Brand personality refers to the character of your brand in terms of human traits. It is the way you want your customers or prospects to perceive you. A strong brand personality can help you establish a long-lasting relationship with your customers and build brand loyalty. The best brands have a distinct and immediately recognizable brand personality that epitomises their core values, vision and culture. The idea of “likeability” has become more important in recent years for marketers. This is because social media and other marketing channels have given consumers power to choose what type of information to consume — this ability to tune out advertising messages when they want has made it harder for brands to grab people’s attention and make them sit up and take notice. For example, according to the 2019 Edelman Trust Barometer report, In Brands We Trust: - 48% of respondents said they would be more loyal to a company that shares their values. - 47% said they would buy or boycott a product based on the CEO’s stance on a social or political issue. Why is a brand personality important for your business? A brand is not a logo, a colour palette, or a font. It is the feeling that your business evokes in people. Its personality indicates whether your brand is adventurous or safe, fun or serious, trustworthy or suspect. Whether businesses realise it or not, customers are looking for brands that connect with them in a human and relatable way. Brand personality matters because people want to do business with others that they like and understand. In fact, studies show that more than 40% of customers buy from businesses based on emotional reasons alone. Think about the last time you bought something from someone: did you go to their store just because you needed something from them? Or did you go there because you knew you’d get exemplary service and walk out feeling great about yourself? If it’s the latter, then you were driven by emotion to make that purchase. The essence of a brand personality is to humanise it, making it more relatable to the audience and giving it depth and nuance. A brand with a clearly defined and well-implemented personality will help your business… Create and enhance brand uniqueness A unique, differentiated brand personality can set you apart from the competition and make your brand more memorable to consumers. Think of how you feel about brands like Apple, Nike or GTB. Each brand has a distinct voice and character that sets it apart from competitors. Drive consumer preference for your product Consumers often prefer brands with personalities that are similar to their own. For example, consider the stark contrast between the personalities of two popular energy drink brands: Red Bull (extreme and adventurous) vs Fearless (sophisticated). Is it any wonder then that Red Bull is favoured by extreme sports enthusiasts while Fearless has a strong following in the hip hop community? Increase consumer trust in your brand Your brand can be more than just a product or service. It can be an ally, helping consumers solve problems or overcome challenges. Consumers respond positively to brands they feel they can trust — such as those with personalities that are genuine and authentic — because they believe these traits make the brand more reliable and trustworthy. Increase customer loyalty and retention Customers who have an emotional connection with a brand are more likely to buy from them again and again. The more connected a customer feels, the less likely they are to shop around for alternatives. Attract the right employees When you define your brand personality, it’s easier for employees to understand what kind of behaviour is expected from them. If you have clearly defined values and principles, your employees will be able to adapt their own behaviour to match. This helps you recruit people who fit in with your company culture and ensures that everyone is pulling in the same direction. Improve business performance and profitability According to a survey by Brand Keys, brands with a clear personality are twice as profitable as those that don’t have one. The reason for this is simple: Companies with strong personalities attract customers who share their values and beliefs, so they’re more likely to buy their products or services. How brand personality works A brand personality framework provides a way for classifying brand personalities into five main types: 1. Excitement: Free-spirited, youthful, fun and carefree. Examples are Tesla, Disney, and Red Bull. 2. Sophistication: Luxurious, exclusive, attractive, elegant. Examples are Apple, Dove and Mercedes. 3. Competence: Reliable, intelligent, successful. Examples are Microsoft, UPS and Standard Chartered. 4. Ruggedness: Tough, strong, outdoorsy. Examples are Jeep. Levi and Timberland. 5. Sincerity: Genuine, honest, wholesome. Examples are Amazon, Cadbury, Pampers. As the world becomes increasingly digitised, and as more companies shift their marketing focus to digital channels, brand personalities have become even more important. This is especially true as automation and artificial intelligence (AI) technology becomes more and more prevalent in the digital age. As a result, marketers need to take a closer look at how their brand personalities are coming across in all of their channels. After all, it’s our personalities that help people connect with us on an emotional level. How to create a likeable personality for your brand Your brand personality is the outcome of your branding strategy. If you want to develop a likeable personality for your brand, you need to follow an effective branding strategy. In order to create a likeable personality for your brand, there are certain things that you need to focus on first: Know your target audience If you already have a product or service, understand the audience that it is targeting. Your branding strategy should be focused on creating a likeable personality for your brand that appeals to the target audience. To do so, first understand who they are and what they like in order to create a stronger connection with them. For example, if you are targeting younger audiences, use trendy and modern language in your branding elements (logo design, colour schemes, marketing materials etc.). Make a list of words that describe the personality you want your brand to have Once you’ve decided on your target market and the emotions you want them to feel, start thinking about the personality traits that will help achieve this. This is essentially a list of adjectives that you think would best describe your brand’s personality. For example, if your brand promises to make it super easy to do something (like transfer money), then words like ‘simple’, ‘easy’ or even ‘pain-free’ might be a good place to start. Other examples include: Fun Professional Experienced, and Trustworthy Visualise your brand as a living, breathing human with distinct characteristics If your brand was a person, what would it be like? Would it be a young adult? A middle-aged professional? An elderly grandparent? Would it be trendy and fashionable, or conservative and reliable? Would it be kind and generous, or hard-nosed and competitive? Once you’ve defined your brand’s personality in human terms, you can start building it into everything you do. Write content that mimics what your brand would say if it were a person. When you design visual assets, let that personality influence the design. This will ensure consistency across all of your marketing materials — rather than a mish-mash of different styles and tones of voice. Build trust with your audience Your target audience needs a reason to trust your brand. They should feel connected with your brand and believe that it can solve their problems or fulfil their needs. To build trust with your audience, ensure consistency across all of your branding elements (visuals, language and tone) and communicate clearly about what you offer and how you can help them. So, what makes your brand different from the rest? The key thing to remember is that there is no right or wrong personality to use. What works for one brand might not work for another and vice versa. Perhaps the more important thing is finding a personality that resonates with your audience and drives sales because people can connect with it on an emotional level. If you want to succeed and stay afloat in a very competitive marketplace you will need to find a tactic that works. Using, creating and maintaining a likeable brand personality could be the way forward for your business. Need professional help transitioning to a brand that people love to engage with? The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our lives in ways we could never have imagined. These changes have also led to shifts in how we think about work and our approach to it. While some of these aspects are temporary, many will remain even after the world returns to a post-pandemic normal. The shift has been sudden and dramatic, with millions of people moving from an office setting to working from home almost overnight. While many companies were already using remote work — particularly large tech companies like Google and Amazon — the pandemic has forced others to adapt quickly as well. This shift has had repercussions across a number of industries, from the way we think about office space to how we use technology to communicate. Here are 12 ways the coronavirus pandemic is changing the work culture today. Remote work is becoming more common The adoption of remote work might be the most obvious sign of change during the pandemic, but this trend will likely continue after things return to normal. A study by Gartner found that 74% of CFOs plan on shifting employees to remote work permanently once the pandemic is over, while 48% expect at least 5% of their workforce to be permanently working remotely. This trend was already growing before the pandemic hit, but companies were reluctant to embrace it because they weren’t sure it would work for them. Now that we’ve seen how well it works, we can expect more companies to make remote work a permanent part of their culture. Working hours are becoming more flexible The conventional 9-to-5 schedule is slowly becoming obsolete, and this is one of the most significant changes in the way we think about work. The need for social distancing has forced companies around the world to embrace remote working. This means that employees can work from anywhere, with flexible hours and more control over their daily lives and schedules. Less emphasis on traditional office spaces The emergence of virtual workplaces has made physical office spaces redundant. The new normal has demonstrated that companies can run smoothly without physical offices as long as employees have access to the right tools and resources. Companies are now investing more in developing technologies that support remote working, such as collaboration software and video conferencing apps. Video conferencing tools like Zoom, Webex or Skype have made it easier for millions of companies to conduct virtual meetings with their clients. Less work commute or business travel, more video conferencing According to an annual survey by CareerBuilder, over 70 percent of employees don’t feel they need to go into the office five days a week. That’s because there are several technologies that allow employees to do their jobs remotely. Video conferencing tools like Zoom, Webex or Skype have made it easier for millions of companies to conduct virtual meetings with their clients. In fact, Zoom reported a 300 percent increase in daily meeting minutes since March 2020 compared to 2019. However, while there are many advantages to virtual meetings, there are some disadvantages as well. It can be difficult to read body language and facial expressions over a computer screen, making it hard for sales teams to close deals. For this reason, it’s important for sales teams to think outside of the box when communicating with clients and prospects.. Work-life balance becoming a priority Remote working allows employees to spend less time commuting, giving them more time for their personal lives. In addition, many companies allow their staff members to work from home on some days of the week even when restrictions are lifted so that employees can spend more time with their families and friends. As a result, many people will feel less stressed about their careers as they can easily balance their professional and personal lives. More focus on digital workplace solutions and project management software With an increasing number of companies going fully remote or adopting hybrid working models, there is a greater demand for digital workplace solutions like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace (formerly G Suite). These productivity suites provide organizations with cloud tools that let employees work remotely on projects, collaborate across teams, and manage their workflow seamlessly. The use of project management tools has been on a steady rise even before the pandemic. Now that work from home is the new normal, its use will only continue to grow. Many companies are now turning to online project management software such as Slack, Basecamp, and Asana to help manage their teams. These platforms make it easy for team members to collaborate on projects and keep track of the big picture while working from home. A shift towards hiring freelancers or contractors Many companies have been hesitant to hire permanent staff during the pandemic as they look to reduce costs and avoid long term commitments. The result is an increase in the employment of freelancers and contractors who can be hired on a short term basis to handle one-off projects or to cover for staff absences due to illness or other personal reasons. Greater work efficiency The current situation has made it clear that employees can work efficiently even from the comfort of their homes. Earlier, many companies did not allow remote working or had an unstructured work-from-home policy for employees. But after an unprecedented situation hit us, companies are realizing how important it is to have a robust remote working culture. According to a survey conducted by Bitly (an American URL shortening service) in March 2020, 65% of respondents reported that they were more productive while working from home than at their regular office. This is because when people work remotely, they focus on the task at hand and accomplish more within the given time. Closer bond with co-workers We have always known that work is more than just a job. It’s a place where we form relationships and communities. And it’s in these communities where we gain a sense of belonging, identity and purpose. In the new normal, these relationships get more challenging to navigate. The face-to-face interactions are limited, and our workplaces are largely virtual. Reducing physical proximity with coworkers means less opportunities to foster strong emotional bonds. According to data from Gensler, only 45% of knowledge workers feel connected to their coworkers since shifting to remote work. And with teams spread across multiple time zones, there is a heightened need for establishing connections beyond the confines of office walls and hours. More e-learning The pandemic left many people feeling isolated and in need of support. As a result, many turned to technology for a connection, to get inspired or stay informed. In fact, it has been reported that online learning platforms like Coursera have seen a 200% increase in enrollment since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many organisations were forced to reconsider how they deliver learning and development, and employees had to adapt their learning habits. While this is a challenging process for both parties, it comes with some benefits – there’s less travel needed, virtual training is more environmentally friendly, and employees can learn at a time that suits them better. A more relaxed dress code The corporate suit wear is going out of style. It has been for a while now actually, even before COVID-19 happened. But now people are realizing just how many outfits they can get away with at home since no one ever sees them. Pants? Yes please! A hoodie? Why not? A shirt with a collar? Absolutely not! There’s zero judgment here – everyone is just trying to be comfortable because comfort is what’s important right now after all. In fact, most businesses will even allow employees to wear casual clothes during office days. Some jobs are becoming obsolete and others getting a boost Jobs that require human contact and are therefore considered high-risk are taking a hit. As more people stay at home and avoid going out for entertainment and socializing, bars and restaurants were forced to close their doors or reduce staff hours. Fitness instructors and personal trainers also lost much of their clientele when gyms shut down. On the flip side, jobs that don’t require much human interaction — like delivery drivers, software developers and remote customer service representatives — have become more sought after. That means that people who have skills that can be used remotely, such as SEO copywriting and digital marketing are seeing a boost in the job market — and their salaries — as more companies look for workers who can help them navigate online spaces more effectively. When people work remotely, they tend to focus more on the task at hand and accomplish more within the given time. So, are you making the most of the “new normal”? The world may still be reeling from the COVID-19 pandemic, but, as we’ve seen time and time again, human resilience knows few bounds. It’s not a stretch to say that we will continue to welcome change in the years after we emerge from this tumultuous time in our world’s history. These changes will take many forms before they come to an end and life returns to normal, but there will always be a few things that remain constant: who we are as people, what we value most, and how we live our lives. https://naijacopy.com/12-ways-covid-is-changing-the-work-culture-today/

Sis, that was a very convenient story. I've seen a similar scenario (not hearsay), so rather than give advice, I'll try to summarize the story. This 'sweet' guy came into the neighborhood and he was like the dream bachelor for the ladies. Calm, easy going, seemingly well to do etc. Soon enough, one fine babe 'occupied' and became a live-in lover. Well, this lady carried herself with so much poise and pride for landing the most eligible 'bachelor' in town. You could sense the deep fulfilment in her voice and demeanour. They sewed matching natives and hardly left each other's company. Of course, they were having constant sex as the lady told anyone who cared to listen about their upcoming wedding. Well, about 6 months later, there was commotion everywhere. The fine lady was at a distance crying and cursing at the man, who ignored her with stone cold silence and disregard. His wife and 3 kids had come from Asaba to move in with their husband and father. He'd been transferred to Lagos and needed like 6 months to set things up for their coming over. The real wife? She just laughed at the Lagos 'fine' babe for believing all the lie her husband fed her just so he could have night company for the 6 month period. She never quarellled with her husband. They lived peacefully and carried on with their lives as if nothing happened. |
Ogt1:Hahahaha. But you're wrong nah. It's "advice" or "piece of advice", not "advises." Some don't need to consult the dictionary for things like this. You're already getting worked up cos your ego is bruised, rather than being humble and confirming first. You hastingly branded him "pompous ignoramus". SMH. So, who should own that tag now? |
Have your digital marketing efforts fallen flat? Does it make you feel uninspired, despairing and frustrated? Are you afraid that what you’ve been doing won’t get you the results you’re looking for? You are probably wasting lots of money running old school marketing strategies, inefficiently. As a digital marketing agency, we know from experience that many B2B marketers aren’t sure if they’re using online marketing strategies that actually work. At NaijaCopy, we’ve been working in digital marketing for a number of years now, helping companies across many different industries to improve their results and grow. Alongside this, we see a lot of other businesses using different strategies – some of which are effective, some of which aren’t. Our aim is to share with you the techniques which work (and those that don’t) in the hope that they can help you on your journey to growing your business. First, what are the fundamentals of successful digital marketing? A successful digital marketing team is built on the groundwork of members who are proficient in a range of important skills If you’re a brand owner, you want to make sure whatever strategy you decide to go with is the right one. This means understanding what works and what doesn’t work, but also taking those facts and working them into your business practices. The more information you can find out, the better. We’re going to show you seven digital marketing techniques that work every time for most of the top brands in the world and that will help you too build a bigger, better brand and take your business to truly global levels. At our digital marketing company, we have initiated and executed a number of successful digital marketing campaigns. One of the key factors is that we have a team that works together to create consistent messaging and a unified strategy. It doesn’t come naturally to a lot of people, and that’s why many digital marketing teams tend to struggle with putting together an effective campaign. A successful team is built on the groundwork of members who are proficient in a range of important skills, including content writing, copyediting, social media marketing, SEO, web design and email marketing. Now that we’ve explored the basics of creating a successful digital marketing team, let’s dive in to explore the top digital marketing strategies some of your favourite brands love to use. 1. SEO-friendly blogging As a business owner, blogging is a must to help you reach the right audience and get your brand noticed. It is a great way to create fresh, engaging and useful content for your target readers, while also showcasing your brand’s industry expertise. But no matter how good the quality of your content is, if it’s not getting in front of the right eyes you could still be struggling to attract customers So what should you do differently with your blog content? When creating content, be sure you’re not just solving a problem your target readers are actually finding answers for; but also make sure you write your posts with SEO in mind—so more people (organic traffic) can find your content. Keyword research tools can help you learn what questions people are asking, and Google SERPs features such as “People Also Ask” snippets make it easy to choose the right keywords, keyword phrases and long-tail keywords for your blog. Keyword research tools can also help you to integrate keywords naturally and in the right density, which increases your chances of being featured in Google’s and other major search engines’ top results. It’s then a straightforward process to identify the best keywords for your business, assess keyword competition (or difficulty) and then create SEO-optimised content. Follow these simple steps and your content will rank with free traffic from Google every month. 2. Brand storytelling on social media Don’t be a bore on social media. Stop posting repetitive tweets, updates, promotions across every social media channel. Seriously, no one cares anymore. What to do instead? Brand storytelling! Yep, simply put the ‘social’ back in your brand’s social media strategy. Here’s why… Humans prefer to buy from other humans, not a faceless bot or brand. Telling stories about your brand can help you humanize your brand and forge a connection with your target audience on special media. It is one method to make your brand more personable and relatable. Storytelling on social media is a powerful tool that can persuade your audience to do something, be it buying your product or simply falling in love with your brand. It can go a long way in shaping your brand’s image in the eyes of your target audience. When it comes to a brand story, your consumers are yearning for authenticity. So, you need to create a narrative that’s true to your brand and demonstrates its uniqueness. If a brand is authentic and unique, and its story is presented in a creative, interesting and consistent way, it will always be remembered by its viewers. Here are a couple more quick tips on effective brand storytelling on social media. a. Choose one social network to focus on If you’re thinking about using social media for marketing, it’s best to concentrate your efforts. So choose one network and start there – at least initially. Social media can be a huge boon for your brand. That said, it can also be an endless pit of despair if you’re not doing it right. It’s fine to experiment with different social networks, but the fact is that some work better than others. You need to pick the right ones, otherwise, you’re wasting everyone’s time and just making it harder on yourself. So, what social network should you use? The one with the most users? No. The answer is whichever one your target audience frequents. If you sell dog toys, then Instagram might be the best place for you to build a following. If you sell e-books about WordPress, then Twitter might be the way to go. b. Structure your content to perfectly suit the platform There are various types of social media platforms. On each one, the primary purpose of your followers will be different. This means you need to tailor the way you share your content to match those needs. To successfully engage an audience with your business, you need to understand who they are and what they are looking to accomplish. Depending on the network, your content strategy will vary in terms of content style, format and presentation. The secret is to create content that perfectly matches the platform’s ideal type of story. For instance, people visit YouTube to be entertained or to learn something. In contrast, Facebook users don’t want long tutorials or ads in their newsfeeds—they want engaging content that can be shared with friends. Give your posts or videos humour, spice or mystery. They should be no longer than a minute. On Twitter, it’s important you get people’s attention fast. So, here it’s all about communicating your messages quickly and efficiently, and not overwhelming users. 3. Video marketing Video marketing has grown exponentially in the last few years. It’s now a highly effective way to help your business grow and make sales. In fact, it can be so effective that some websites are relying on video marketing more than any other strategy. Video marketing works well because everybody loves video. Besides, people have busy lives and they often prefer the convenience and accessibility of watching videos. So, it’s a great way to boost your brand awareness and drive traffic and leads to your business. To succeed with this strategy, create genuinely helpful and valuable videos with minimal fluff and avoid being overly promotional. For best results with this strategy, make your videos short, genuinely helpful and valuable. Keep the fluff to a minimum and refrain from being overly promotional. 4. Responsive Web Design Making your content viewable on mobile devices is the future of digital marketing. Marketing is all about reaching your customers, and these days, an increasing number of them are viewing your content from their mobile devices. The last thing you want, then, is for your website to display itself in all its tiny-fonted glory when someone visits it on their phone. Responsive web design (RWD) ensures that your website will look as good, if not better, on a smartphone as it does on a desktop computer. The designs and layouts, while not as complex, have to have that same level of quality in order to capture mobile viewers. Responsive web design is the solution that has striven to address the needs of sites across multiple platforms. Google favours websites that are designed to provide an optimal experience across all viewing devices, so make sure your website is set up this way. It’s especially useful if you update your site often. 5. Local Search Marketing When it comes to digital marketing techniques that work in the world of local search, there are an endless amount of opportunities you can pursue. Local search marketing enables local businesses to market their services or products directly to customers who are searching for a business that offers something close by. When executed correctly, local search marketing allows you to tap into local consumers’ natural desire to visit locally-owned businesses. When it comes to digital marketing techniques that work in the world of local search, there are an endless amount of opportunities you can pursue. One of the simplest is utilizing Google’s My Business platform which allows you to create a free listing for your business on both Google Maps and Google Search. Once you have your listing set up, there are a number of things you can do to optimize it so that when people do searches based on specific phrases or locations, your business will appear in their local results. If someone wants to visit your physical location, this allows them to go directly from searching in Google to driving out to where you are located. Google makes it easy to keep your listing current as well. And don’t forget that people are more likely to do business with companies that inspire trust, and online reviews can help your business become that kind of company. Factor in the fact that 84% of consumers trust online reviews as much as a personal recommendation, which underlines the importance of encouraging customers to write positive reviews. You’ll even want to get involved on social media as 8 out of 10 people use social media to find local businesses. 6. Guest posting Guest blogging is an excellent way of getting your content to be seen by a large audience — those who may not have heard of you otherwise. It can also be a great way to establish yourself as an authority in your industry, as well as to get backlinks or free referral traffic. The catch, however, is that it’s important to guest post for high-quality sites. No matter how much time you spend on creating a piece of content, if it is on a lousy site, most people will not waste their time reading it. Thus, the quality of sites that you post on is key to maximizing your exposure and traffic through this strategy. 7. Paid ads Most small business owners often ask: Are paid ads really worth it? The simple answer is: Yes. Paid ads aren’t free, but if you want to reach a lot of people, ads can be an extremely valuable and efficient marketing tool. Let’s be honest: every good thing in life comes with a price tag. Besides, when you look at the time investment of paid ads compared to the time it takes to do everything else, it truly makes sense. If you want to beat your competition, paid ads are a critical aspect of your digital strategy. Whether it’s Google AdWords, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or another platform that you choose to use in your advertising strategy, there is no denying that paid ads work if used correctly. Final thoughts The success of digital marketing has changed considerably over the past several years. In the past, businesses were more concerned about driving direct sales and conversions, but now people are more interested in building relationships with brands online. Getting involved with your consumers’ lives in this way is the best way to build long-term relationships. And once you have a loyal consumer base, digital marketing services and techniques will be that much easier to tailor towards the needs of your audience. But until then, it’s important to stay ahead of the curve by trying to solve their problems, not just sell to them. The rewards are well worth it for businesses looking for long-term success on the digital marketing stage. https://naijacopy.com/7-digital-marketing-techniques-that-work-every-time-for-top-brands/

It is already possible for cars to park themselves, warn sleepy drivers, return to the right lane and provide map routes to destinations. In Japan, Mazda is making cars that know when a driver has a stroke or heart attack. The new generation cars are planned to be launched in 2022. By 2025, cars will be able to detect sudden health issues and warn their owners, according to the Japanese automaker. It uses data from cameras in the car instead of laser sensors or other obtrusive technologies. Moreover, it will be available in affordable models, not only luxury ones. It offers promise for one of the most advanced ageing societies in the world. According to a recent announcement from Mazda, the company has been working with medical experts, such as Tsukuba University Hospital, to find out what a healthy driver looks like, as opposed to an incapacitated person slumped forward behind the wheel. Once the Co-Pilot Concept recognizes a problem, it will bring the vehicle to a safe location as soon as possible, such as the roadside curb. According to Mazda, the car will honk, flash its blinkers, and flash its hazard lights. However, the exact warning signals are still unclear. The car will also send an emergency call to the ambulance and police. A similar technology is in development by auto giants Volkswagen of Germany and Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan. Mazda plans to introduce the technology in Europe after Japan. Mazda is waiting to see if it will be accepted within the US market, even though competitors are already offering similar systems to stop vehicles. In terms of privacy concerns, Mazda says personal data never leaves the vehicle. Mazda is working on ways to predict health issues even if a driver is not aware they are coming, according to Takahiro Tochioka, the engineer in charge. Among the things the car will watch for are the way people focus their vision, the swaying of their heads, slight aberrations in driving habits and other subtle changes, he said. The system will even warn drivers before they notice any symptoms, he told reporters. “But understanding and cooperation from the drivers around that car is crucial for this technology to work,” he added. Since Japan has an assumption of widespread public goodwill, Mazda expects the Japanese public to lend a hand to a driver in trouble. In addition to empowering people to keep driving throughout their lives, Tochioka said the technology will also help reassure families and friends not to be worried. The introduction of Co-Pilot will also give Mazda a chance to get real-world feedback from users, he explained. https://naijabiztrust.com/latest-mazda-auto-designed-to-shuts-off-if-driver-suffers-a-health-emergency/

Despite the global push to end investments in fossil fuels as the world transitions to cleaner fuels, gas remains vital for African economies, African Development Bank President Akinwumi Adesina said on Thursday. African economist Adesina said that the continent, where 600 million people lack access to electricity, is still concentrating on just energy systems. The African Development Bank is one of the financial backers of Total’s LNG project in Mozambique, which is worth $20 billion. Despite increased investments and access to electricity, particularly from renewable sources, Adesina said the current technologies will not provide steady power supply to grids and stable baseload for industries in Africa. “Therefore, gas is fundamental to Africa’s economic survival. I see gas as an important part of Africa’s energy mix,” Adesina told Reuters on the sidelines of the United Nations climate summit in Glasgow, Scotland. Africa’s oil and gas-dependent nations, such as Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast, and Mozambique, are counting on latest discoveries to boost revenues and to provide gas-fired power. “Even if Africa triples its use of gas to generate electricity, it will only contribute to only 0.67% of total global greenhouse gas emissions. Without gas, Africa’s economies will be killed,” Adesina said. He said that the bank has stopped funding coal projects. “A week ago, our board approved our new policy. No more coal. However, we will support Africa to have a stable energy system, and gas is critical to that,” he said, adding that gas will prevent deforestation since most people in Africa use wood or charcoal for energy. https://naijabiztrust.com/gas-remains-vital-to-stable-power-supplies-in-africa-says-afdb-president-adesina/

Search intent or search motive is one of the most important factors to consider when optimizing your website for conversion rates (SEO). It’s used in all marketing strategies, but SEO strategies are heavily reliant on it.

PPC (pay per click) is a quick and easy way to get your business or website in front of a highly targeted audience. With PPC’s sponsored “ads”, your product or service can pop up on Google top search results or display banners of the favourite blog sites of your prospective customers with relevant keywords. |
We’ve all been there: spending hours or days trying to decide between investing in PPC, SEO or social media. It’s a tough decision and can make you feel like you’re sitting on a fence – falling off either way. But, the thing is – it doesn’t need to be that way. Truth is, the marketing puzzle is more complex now than at any point in history. Gone are the days when businesses can rely on one method to achieve success, although many still try. Today, your marketing strategy must be dynamic and tested. As marketers struggle to achieve results through social media channels, SEO tactics or PPC campaigns, it’s time to consider the big picture. First things first: Traffic, Convert, Sell! There’s no denying the power of the web—it’s such a powerful force that it has turned small businesses into billion-dollar enterprises and legacies. But if you’re like many other executives today, you might be wondering if there is a way to leverage this power to increase profitability and revenue for your business. The answer: Absolutely! At first, just having a huge number of users to your website is the key factor. But eventually, it will be your ability to convert those users into prospects and eventually customers that will make a difference in your business. When it comes to your marketing budget, you always want to ensure the maximum return on investment (ROI) for each campaign. This can be challenging if you are unsure which of the three main digital marketing channels – PPC, SEO or social – will deliver the most value for you. Business owners and marketers today can leverage these marketing strategies to drive leads and increase their online visibility. But what they usually don’t know is they can also make improvements to these strategies using keyword research and competitor analysis to see how their competitors are performing in their respective channels. So, what should be the investment priorities in digital marketing for your business or organisation? PPC – Pay Per Click Advertising. SEO – Search Engine Optimisation for organic traffic. Social Media Marketing – A social media campaign through platforms such as Twitter, Meta (formerly Facebook)), Instagram etc. Online marketing can be a tricky thing to nail. What works for one business may not work for another, and that’s down to a multitude of factors, from how well known your brand is, to what you’re selling, all the way through to the audience you’re aiming at. While there’s no magic bullet, PPC, SEO and social media should blend together well. Each can work alone but can be so much more effective when used together. Before we get into the meat of things, let’s quickly go over what each channel is and does. (Get all the detailed analysis to give you a bigger picture here. Can't fit all the guides here - as it's 3500 words long https://naijacopy.com/ppc-seo-or-social-media-which-will-deliver-the-best-roi-for-your-business/) In summary: PPC can help your business grow, which is why many small business owners turn to it when they are starting out. But what some might forget is that while PPC provides rapid growth, it is also expensive. SEO offers theoretically limitless potential for organic traffic; however, it typically takes time. When optimising for web traffic, patience is key. Social media marketing might be the right choice for your business if you need to build brand awareness and audience engagement, but it may not deliver the conversions you want. PPC is best for quick results at the top of the page, while SEO is better for long-term Google rankings. SEO is the smarter choice if the focus is more on budget and less on time. Choose social media advertising if your priority is brand, product or service awareness - and not really a quick return on investment. It works well too if you think your business or offering is something people will be excited about and want to share. If you want to hit Google Page 1 from the get-go, then PPC is the best for you. However, the best strategy is to intelligently and creatively combine all three. You may want to do more of PPC (Google Ads) in the beginning to quickly race to the top of the search engine page results and complement it with vigorous social media marketing for brand awareness. Then as your product or service gain some traction with your target market, solidify it with strategic SEO planning and execution for a more stable and long-term ranking in the top results. You should now have a better grasp of the concept of SEO, how it works and compares to running a PPC or social media marketing campaign. This will help you plug the gaps in your internet marketing strategy. The most important thing is to clearly define your marketing goals and make sure you prioritise (and combine) the right channels and strategies to guarantee the best return on investment. Patiently and carefully learn how to apply each strategy and assess the results as you go so you can improve and make each campaign better than the last. An excellent user experience is important when it comes to online business. If the customers don’t enjoy using your website, they won’t come back. Customers will usually blame a bad user experience on other factors such as low-quality content or lack of trustworthiness on your part, but in reality, what they really want is simplicity and usability. Every website online desires the attention of the web user and there are tons out there right now. With so much competition out there, you’re going to have a hard time standing out and grabbing the attention of your potential clients. You need to simplify the experience for the customer and make it as easy as possible for them to find what they’re looking for. Improved user experience is definitely an intricate part of the puzzle when it comes to improving your sales conversion rate, but there are a couple of other things you can do. How do I know my user persona? “Know your customer” is a term that’s tossed around in the marketing world. If you want to attract customers and get them to keep coming back for more, you must understand who they are. Really, truly know them. There’s no way around this rule. So yes, you need to do a little detective work and put on your detective hat. So, how do you determine your buyer persona? How can you tell who is the ideal customer to target, and how do you go about finding out more about them? Start with who you serve. This could be your customers but it could also be another group of people whose needs you fulfil. For example, if your business makes health equipment then your buyers are the health centres and the people using that equipment. If you are a life coach, then your buyers are the people who are paying you for coaching sessions. Why is it important you understand your site users? If you want to know how to run a successful business, improve your online revenue and get more traffic, then it’s important to understand your customer’s needs, wants and preferences. This is called the buyer persona. It helps you determine who will pay for your offering. Undoubtedly, your site users are the most important asset you have. Wouldn’t it be fair to say that once you know them better, you’d be in a position to make them 100x happier? The more people that visit your website or mobile app on a regular basis, the more money you’re making. In fact, it can be said that more than 70% of online conversions come from returning visitors. What factors influence a good user experience? User experience (UX) is a modern business term that refers to the ways a person perceives and interacts with a brand. It encompasses the emotional and rational aspects of customers that can influence their perceptions, memory, satisfaction, loyalty and future behaviours. A good user experience allows people to get new information, find what matters most and do what interests them. It means the site user finds or evaluates the brand, product, service or information on your site as being: · Accessible · Credible · Desirable · Usable · Useful, and · Valuable How can the user experience be improved? An excellent user experience is crucial to the customer journey. User experience (UX) is more than one dimensional and influences your conversion rate. The percentage of visitors becoming paying customers is referred to as your conversion rate. This happens through the interaction between your website visitors or users and your website. The way users interact with your website directly affects their decisions — whether or not they buy from you. Here are key tips to significantly improve your site user experience: – Keep your website pages consistent. Brand identity and user experience can be affected a lot by consistency. It keeps the user interface clean, your branding consistent and saves you time when updating it across all your website pages. If you don’t keep your website pages consistent, your users will start searching the Internet for information that you thought they already found. – Use proper and well written H1s and H2s. You might not realise it, but your very first impression of a business is made by scanning your eyes over a website’s headline. A poor title will certainly put off potential customers and could leave you losing out on valuable sales opportunities. Adding well-designed and written headlines to your site can help encourage customers to give you a second look. This isn’t something you should overlook, regardless of the industry you’re in. – Use bullet points to segment key information. Have you ever noticed that people don’t like to spend so much time reading when on the web? Well, that’s putting it mildly. Nowadays, people want information to be quick and succinct, especially with mobile devices being used more and more. You will be more likely to attract new readers to your articles if you are able to do so. Use bullet points to make key information stand out and draw attention to what you want your audience to see. – Ensure your site is responsive and mobile-friendly. A responsive website means that it is designed to adjust to look good across multiple devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers. A mobile-friendly site is somewhat simpler: it means the page will be easy to use on a smartphone. You need to make your website mobile-friendly if you want visitors to stay long enough to perform a specific action. This is called bounce rate. The last thing you want is for a potential customer to leave your site as a result of any inconvenience caused by viewing the site on their smartphone. – Use images smartly. Working with images in the digital world is somewhat of a science. It’s quite a tricky one too! Images convey emotions, trigger memories, and can be an effective way of visually saying more with less. They are also a great tool for brands to convey story-telling. I’m sure you can think of examples where you have felt deeply connected with something – it could be a book, film, or even an article. This is because image triggers the imagination and enables you to see things in your own way. – Optimise your page speed. Have you ever visited a website and thought it was taking a long time to load? Or perhaps you have heard someone say, “My website loads too slowly.” Every millisecond counts – each second your website takes to load can cost you 20% of your visitors. Speed has a direct impact on conversions too. A one-second delay in page response time leads to a 7% drop in conversions – that’s why optimising your page speed is so important. – Use white space. White space is a wonderful design tool when used properly. It’s the eye sweets, the frosting on the cake, the whipped cream on top of your hot chocolate. It’s what gives your content area enough breathing room (no pun intended) to be read and scrolled with ease. Use white space to make your pages more readable. White space makes web pages easier on the eyes and less stressful for your users. – Use attractive calls to action. Have you ever noticed how some sites use text like “get this” or “buy now” in their calls to action? You’ll attract more attention to your message and become more engaged when you do this. It’s not effective though if there isn’t a logical link to the action you want them to take. – Fix your 404s. A ‘404 not found’ page is one of the most frustrating and embarrassing things a visitor can see when visiting your website. A 404 error is a small and simple one, but if it happens too often, then it can point to serious problems. According to Moz, 37% of users will abandon a website that has a broken link. That is more than enough reason to fix them before you ultimately lose those frustrated visitors for good. Bottom Line Understanding your buyer persona and improving your user experience with an attractive, usable website is a sure-fire way to improve your conversion rates. Now, with the Internet being such a critical part of our lives, it’s only a matter of time before your potential customers start reviewing your site online. So be sure to make a great first impression. https://naijacopy.com/ways-to-improve-your-site-user-experience-and-get-more-organic-traffic/

When it comes to digital marketing, small mistakes can have big consequences. Without proper research and testing, you could lose revenue or even the trust of your customers. After all, it’s important to put your best foot forward. Even if you think you already know everything about digital marketing, you’d be surprised at how much I’m about to tell you. Truth is, there’s a lot of work involved with digital marketing these days. With the intricate strategies of search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, and ad campaigns, it’s easy to make mistakes. I’ve put together the eight most common digital marketing mistakes I’ve seen brands make. Are you guilty of any of these? Don’t worry, they’re easy to fix. Just remember, mistakes can be a great learning opportunity for your brand. In this piece, I’ll run you through 8 common digital marketing mistakes brands make and what to do to fix them and turn your online business fortunes around. 1. Not setting S.M.A.R.T goals with a monitoring strategy Unfocused marketing – a business’ most common online marketing mistake – can be devastating. Setting goals gives you insight into how your campaign is progressing. You won’t know how it’s taking shape If you don’t set them if you don’t, you won’t know if you achieve them within the right time frame. If you don’t set realistic goals for digital marketing, you put your company at a disadvantage. Unrealistic goals are discouraging because they’re hard to achieve no matter how well you execute and optimise them. In order to assess success, you must track or monitor your results vis-a-vis your goals. Otherwise, you will not be able to identify what areas need improvement. What to do: Before starting a campaign, ensure that you have SMART goals. This means the goals must be: Specific: Any goal must be geared towards a specific action – whether that’s clicks or leads. Measurable: Make sure your goals are trackable. You can determine relevant metrics and data once you know what you are trying to accomplish. Achievable: It is important to set goals with achievable digital marketing objectives. Set realistic milestones that you can achieve as you work toward your goals. Realistic: Your goals should remain within the budget and resources available to you. Establish regular meetings to evaluate your progress toward your milestones so that your goals remain realistic and achievable. Don’t try and tackle more than you or your team can handle. Time-bound: It is extremely important to set deadlines for your goals. This will keep your team motivated and on track. Identify the key performance indicators (KPIs) that fit your goals best. Make sure to track your KPIs throughout your entire campaign with Google Analytics. By tracking them, you’ll be able to measure the ROI of your campaign. 2. Targeting the wrong audience You may want to start by taking a look at your current marketing efforts. Are you really targeting the audience that is most likely to buy your products or services? Or, do you just have content and ads showing up in areas where there is no good match for who they are? If your target audience is too wide or thin, it can be hard to get them to really notice you, reach out to you or visit your website. A lot of companies target too broad of a market and try to attract as many people as possible. But because of the general lack of engagement and sales, they become discouraged when fewer people use or buy their products. Some other companies think they know their audience but often end up targeting people they don’t actually want to reach. This way, spending time and money on the wrong people leads to waste. Yet it is easily preventable! A business that targets broadly means they aren’t providing relevant content to the people who are interested. What to do: Do some research on your target audience! Research and testing are necessary to find the right audience. It is essential to know who might be interested in your services or products. Begin by creating your business buyer personas based on your past customers. Buyer or marketing persona involves building a mental image of your ideal customer’s demographics, behaviour, aspirations, needs, what they care about, and how you can motivate them by fulfilling their dreams. It may also include data like the type of promotions they respond to, when they’re most likely to purchase a product, and what they would expect with that purchase (i.e. free shipping). With this information, you can shape both your product and your marketing efforts to meet these expectations. 3. Not paying enough attention to your website design There was a time when a regular business like yours needed to have a site, but it didn’t necessarily need to be highly functional or even informative. It was just there. Things have changed since then and if you fail to realize that, you could lose out. Today’s internet user is way different from the internet user of years ago. Nowadays users expect more than just words on a page. They want a site that makes them feel comfortable and convenient and above all else – users want it fast. The only way to ensure you meet these expectations is through the integrated application of user experience design in your web design and development process. What to do: To thrive in today’s digital marketing sphere, it is vital that your website is user-friendly and provides valuable information. This means ensuring your website is: - Clear, simple and easy to navigate. - Mobile-responsive. That is, you should ensure each element on your page is scalable so that it fits any device with the same dimensions. - Has brand colour harmony and consistency that’s soft on the eye. - Call-to-action buttons. - Intelligent use of white spaces. - Fast-to-load images and videos. Optimize images and videos for the web by compressing the file sizes. - A search bar etc. If you fail to prioritize user experience for your site or optimise it for your target site visitors, you’ll lag behind your competitors. 4. Neglecting SEO Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the largest component of digital marketing. It represents about four out of every five dollars made online. The goal of SEO is to make your website rank higher than your competitors and drive highly qualified, relevant traffic to your website. Your website won’t show up in Google search results pages (SERPs) if you haven’t incorporated SEO into your digital marketing plan. This means you won’t be able to attract new and valuable leads for your business. As a result, your competitors capture all valuable traffic for your search keyword. SEO takes time to develop, so you must be patient. Many companies don’t give it enough time to start showing results and drive the results they desire. This is often one of the biggest digital marketing mistakes of businesses. What to do: SEO is the most important thing to do for any website. No matter what type of website you have, you need to be ranking high in Google. While ranking high in Google isn’t easy, it’s easier if you know how to properly do keyword research. Specifically, before doing any SEO work, you need to understand what people search for and what they click on when they have a buying intent. Simply put, keyword research is the most important thing you need to do if you want your website to generate mass interest and sales on autopilot. The purpose of your content must be to rank for your target keywords in Google and attract organic traffic to your website. You can target your audience by researching the queries they make. By integrating these keywords into pages on your site and blog posts, you’ll be better positioned for search results for those key terms. Knowing your audience’s keywords helps you reach relevant and valuable prospects with your optimised content. See more at: https://naijacopy.com/common-digital-marketing-mistakes-brand-make-today/
