We just watched the conclusion of the APC presidential primaries and saw how it was unfolded. We saw how applicants step down for other applocants. So i was cogotating after spending huge some of 100million to buy ticket what is the essence of wasting it when i no i will step down. To me i would rather finish the race. Then i ask myself, what kind of signal is this portraying to our political structure & politicians kind of handling money in this difficult times in nigeria. PDP dis same.

You stepped down, you’re likely guaranteed maybe a refund backdoor or some sort of appointment because you will be seen as contributing to the emergence of the winner. On the other hand , you don’t step down and get one or zero vote like few contestants you really don’t have a lot of say in the candidate emergence as the flag bearer.
