PoliticsRe: On Biafra - Igbos Not Prepared For Exit Now by naijapips02: 8:13am On Dec 05, 2015

Jazper:
@op all you listed are excuses.

I personally do not even wish for most of the SS to join, I want igweocha because they are part of us, I want Idoma because they have shown profound love for igbos, I want the igbo part of Delta state, outside that, any other tribe must vote to join and also step up.
Don't listen to these rants online. I personally know an isoko lady who was lamenting the foolishness of her people who opted out of biafra in their village meeting or something like that.

Meanwhile, Biafra plans a regional system meaning: use your resources to develop your region. What ijaw has will be for ijaws, what ibibio has remains with ibibio. Isnt that what the Niger Delta wants?
They shouldn't think we have forgotten how they betrayed us in the last war, we aren't in a hurry to embrace them. Its just a few of their elite who know what Biafra is planning than are forcing the entire region to key in now.

Those clamoring for Biafra are doing so because they have found out that Nigeria is deliberately through politics and policies starving and crippling Biafra. I personally am a business minded person. My grandfather said there is oil in our place that if they dig, we will find something but I am not interested in that neither are all the people I know who matters in this Biafran ish.
If and when Biafra stands, I will be more interested in inventing or pulling resources together to get the first battery/solar powered car than can go a whole day at least with out recharge.
I will be more interested in revolving the recycling of raw materials like iron.
I'll be more interested in building 1st of its kind facilities in Africa,
I'll be more interested in expanding into the African market
I'll be more concerned with building quality products and establishing the Biafran brand worldwide.
I'll be more interested in partnering with any of the BRIC countries to expand into Africa through Biafra if we Biafrans can't do it on our own.

Oil is not the future. Technology is and that is our greatest asset in Biafra.

Do you know how many elites are already putting plans in place for actualization of all these once Biafra is put in place?

Why can't these elite put down these plans now? Because the policies in place will never allow it.

So until Biafra comes, people like me with these plans and connections etc may never find the opportunity to develop into Dangote's and Jim Ovia's . Why wont we cry for Biafra?

Do you know we have tapped several calls between several politicians that will stand against them in any fair court?
Do you know we found many agreements btween some countries and Nigeria that will stand against them in any fair court?

I can't tell you more because it may jeopardize the struggle and let Nigeria know the extent we have gone.
I rest my case.
[/s]

How does this address any issue that the OP raised? You will do this, you will do that, how many have you done? Or is Nigeria Preventing any igbo state from developing technologies? WTF is wrong with you zombies. It is good to dream, but you should know when to separate dreams from reality.

Your opinion doesn't count.

At first, you said it was Nairaland/twitter noise-making then you were proved wrong.

You never believe the followership until you it done on you how insignificant you are.

As of today, any Igbo who tries to belittle the position and significance of pro-Biafra group in Igbo equation is a mischief maker.
You never can tell. All these zombie fever was started by one conman somewhere blowing kush and rhyming on radio. Whether i'm insignificant or not doesn't matter as long as i am able to express my right of speech and judgement. At least i'd be at peace with myself.

The pro biafra group have only be allowed to fetter to this extent because the igbos generally are unhappy with buhari and rightly so. Not all those that claim pro biafra are actually bro biafra. Most of them are anti buharists.

You are a funny chap. You just said that the Nigerian police murdered a young girl, unarmed girl who may not know anything about Biafra or even care about it, but that didn't save her. Yet you are asking the Igbos to remain part of an evil entity that kills young girls. Silliness is bad
you are either myopic or Anosmic. Where in my post did you read Nigerian police?

Dude, in a war, all's fair. You were not abiding by the laid than rules. You don't push me and tell me where to fall. You don't bite my anus and expect not to eat shit.

I think there are currently 2 tribes in SE nigeria now; The Igbos and IPOB.

The IPOB are trying to drag the Igbos into a war which will see their wealth plundered and loved ones destroyed all because they think the oil rich SS is in support of biafra.
that's the big mistake they keep making. They think once biafra comes, all would be milk and honey.

I had an eye opening discussion with an old man in my street in Aba, what the man said shocked me.

The man said, once biafra comes, all the unemployed youths in Igboland would be employed. I asked him How Sir? The he said that new local government and government offices would be opened in almost all families in igboland. And i was like, is this the trash they've being using to deceive our youths? How would you sustain such scheme? with which money? From Where? or do you think that even if SS agrees to follow us to biafra, they would allow us to be sharing their oil money like some pocket money?

Too bad
PoliticsTo All True Igbos by naijapips02(op): 8:16pm On Dec 02, 2015
I would start off with the quote from my favourite poet, Dante.

"The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri
The time for neutrality is way passed. We must either stand up for what is right or be consumed by the fire that is coming. Or you still do not know that there's an inferno breeding?

just today, A young lady was killed. She probably wasn't an IPOB member. She probably doesn't give a damn about Biafra. But did that spare her? No! You do not know who might be next. Might be someone close to you. That you don't care about Biafra doesn't make it any different.

America and the west is plotting a depopulation scheme in Nigeria. same scheme they planted in the middle east. The more you kill yourselves, the more cleaner and viable the earth is for them to live on, and the more weaker you would be...so they would continue to dominate you.

Let's not allow America and the west use our land as a depopulation field.

We don't support IPOB's Biafra. The igbos are not part of this evil movement.

I call on all Igbos to come together and protest for Nigeria....Protest for Unity....protest for regional integration......Protest for true federalism! Protest for COMMON SENSE.

You are the biggest fool ever on NL. Illegal or not, the state security apparatus does not have any right to shoot unarmed demonstrator. If the demonstrators have no police permit, they could be subject to arrest and persecution but execution. The bolded showed you are a dumbass Nigerian and not worthy of any intellectual exercise.
There you go again, fool. How do you subdue people with clubs and planks? Especially when they are in their thousands. Warning shots were fired in the air for them to stop advancing.....before that date, a stern warning was issued by the military.....a declaration copter had to be flown all round the city still to warn them off, but like zombies, their brains are already diseased with the biafran virus. You don't arrest thousands of people with clubs advancing towards you.....you shoot them to protect yourself.

Any peaceful demonstration in the world, mostly in the advanced countries, roads are blocked, certain businesses are closed, movements are highly restricted and onlookers are usual threatened. In fact, warnings are posted by the local government instructing citizens to avoid certain areas of the cities during peaceful demonstration.
bloody liar. What do you know? Did you get police clearance for your 'peaceful' protest? or you heard that in well run countries, you are not required to get a clearance before protest. You just wake up and start protesting.
PoliticsFulani Herdsmen Kill Palmwine Tapper, Injure One Other In Delta by naijapips02(op): 7:28pm On Dec 02, 2015
A-30-year-old palmwine tapper was, yesterday, killed and one other severely injured by suspected Fulani herdsmen at Ofagbe community, Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State.

The palmwine tapper simply identified as Mr. Inibu, Vanguard gathered, was killed while trying to collect palmwine in a bush along the community’s road to Ashaka, in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking with newsmen on the development, the Olotu-Logbo of the Ofagbe Kingdom, Othuke Omejedo said: “One woman ran to me that as she was going to the market, she met the lifeless body of a boy lying on the ground on the road leading to Ashaka. She said another one was injured.”

He said the body of the deceased had been deposited in a mortuary at Ozoro, while the one that was injured, Mr. Thompson Ogege had been taken to a nearby hospital.

Omejedo said the injured victim disclosed to them that they were accosted by the Fulani herdsmen as they were tapping their palmwine and opened fire on them in the ensuing scuffle.

He said: “We have never had any problem with the herdsmen because they have not been living in this community.”

Isn't bokoharam parading itself as an Islamic movement. Maybe the government should start killing Muslims because of that. You should be ashamed of yourself for bringing politics ib to this matter. It's because of Igbos like yourself that we are where we are in the first place.
Afam, i used to have a huge respect for you, but I must say this, I am quite disappointed and disgusted by you POV on this thread.

Boko Haram is a militarized sect that has set itself apart from the people. I can assure you that if Boko harams or muslims openly identify that they are boko haram, they would be shot straight.

But can the same be said of IPOB? No! IPOB is dragging the whole igbos, the whole region with them. You are igbo, so you must be IPOB. If IPOB members are closing shop, any igboman that opens his shop would be harassed. So in essence, you are forced into solidarity with the movement.

This is utterly foolish. They should set themselves apart like the Niger Delta militants and boko haram are doing and not drag igbos into a senseless war that we are not ready to fight.

I jst listened to a conversation between one Mr Kunle and Alahaji from the North. If what i just listened to reflects the thinking of northerners, then i am sorry to say; we are not one, and shall never be!

May i also state here, i have always supported Buhari and believed in him. But i tell you the truth, what i just listened to has change a lot of things in me.

I have now realized Nnamdi Kanu was right all these while!

Today, i therefore declare for Biafra! From today onwards, my alegence and loyalty has been shifted. I no longer believe in Nigeria. And i shall henceforth, identify with Biafrans and Biafra threads!
What the Hausa man said is the bitter truth. No matter how you look at it, every man should protect his own.

i can relate to this. Growing up, i lived with an elder sister, BLOOD sister. Then she uses Kitchen Knife to hit me....not the flat surface....the blunt edge of the knife. I'd leave the beating arena with my arms all swollen and red flex flashing allover with blood oozing.

All these for things like, 'why didn't you wake up early for school' and some silly stuffs like that.

Try as hard as i can, i still can't get these pictures off my mind.

and if you understood esoteric symbolism, the shaman / occultist / sage who drew up your biafran flag knew what he was doing. the message in your flag is not good at all. that is not a flag of freedom. that is a flag of bondage and powerlessness and being under judgement. so while you think you are fighting for freedom by raising that flag, you are actually fighting for more judgement and powerlessness and bondage. it is a self actualizing prophesy. you need to go and look for the shaman who created your flag because he had a divine message is why he created that flag and he kept the message to himself.
sukkot, can you expatiate more on this? it's quite an interesting subject.
