RevDesmondJuju: The only gas that can cause such burn like coloration is carbon dioxide .
Carbon dioxide gas leaves frost bite wounds due to the low temperature. have you heard about mustard gas? Mustard gas, or sulfur mustard (Cl-CH2CH2)2S, is a chemical agent that causes severe burning of the skin, eyes and respiratory tract. It can be absorbed into the body through inhalation, ingestion or by coming into contact with the skin or eyes.
First used during World War I, the gas is effective at incapacitating its victims en masse. Sulfur mustard is generally colorless in its gaseous state, though it may have a faint yellow or green tint. It's most easily recognized by its trademark "mustardy" odor, though some compare its smell to that of garlic, horseradish or sulfur. |

Only you is saying that the corpses were recovered within 24hrs of death.
And if you must know decomposition is faster in the tropics due to the intense heat.
Fool the other scary alternative is that those corpse were charred with gas....like they were gassed. |

Abuse Mohammed
Tear a Korean.
I bet you, even the meekest of the Muslims would be the one to Yank your heart out.
All Muslims are potential terrorists. Quote me anywhere. |

If u look closely at the picture being circulated, the 3rd dead soldier from front has on a shade of camouflage that is exclusively worn by the Nigerian army. Almost all the other African armies that shares the same camou with us as theirs of the darker shade.
Compare the camou the 3rd dead soldier is wearing with that of his counterparts in the second pic....Then compare with the armies of other African countries.

ejibaba: Nigerian Media will suffer because they are the major promoter of boko haram. They started with joining hands with the former opposition to use it against the government, now the government has changed they played down some of the attacks and assaults. Now the new opposition I believe is using them again against the present government. Once a thief always a thief. A country where money determines who is your friend or enemy. #IpityNigeria playing down the attacks will not help anyone. |

That's why I laugh at some mumus who are encouraging the military to open a second front against Biafra. they shouldn't brief the media at all if they know they wouldn't be consistent in their statements. It breeds more doubt about their capabilities and make Nigeria look weak outside. |

Let's take another Look at the reports, shall we? Abuja – Chief of Army staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai has waved aside reports that about 105 soldiers prosecuting the war against Boko Haram terrorists met their untimely death when they failed to return in a bid to annihilate the terrorists in the North East.
The media had been awashed with news that about 100 Nigerian soldiers were missing after Boko Haram attacks in the epicenter of the battle.
But General Buratai in a telephone conversation with Vanguard said, “It is not true that our soldiers are missing. The soldiers went on a mission for the Nigerian nation and they have since returned and joined their Battalions”.
The confident Chief of Army Staff said that insinuation is a figment of imagination of the authors of the story.
Media reports had indicated that the Army may have lost about 150 of its men to an attack by Boko Haram insurgents in Gudunbali, Borno State. It was claimed that the terrorists attacked at Gudunbali in Borno State, on Wednesday and as a result the 157 Battalion of the Nigerian Army could not account for at least, 105 soldiers including their commanding officer.
According an online media, the terrorists also captured a T-72 tank as well as several artillery weapons from the unit. “Gudunbali was attacked this morning and some weapons were captured from the battalion. Two officers and 105 soldiers are still missing”.
The terrorists captured a T-72 tank from the unit and some artillery weapons were also captured. The commanding Officer (CO) of the battalion is yet to be seen but no one has been confirmed dead yet,” the source added.
Another source however said the T-72 tank was recovered after a prolonged fight with Boko Haram insurgents. The gunner and tank commander were injured in the process, he said.
Also reportedly captured by the insurgents were eight vehicles, a truck loaded with 60,000 rounds of AA ammunition and three artillery pieces. Similarly, soldiers of the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) stationed at Baga, Borno State also recently came under attack. The attack occurred in Geringiwa at about four kilometers to the headquarters of MNJTF, PREMIUM TIMES has also been told.
According to a source, the military has been unable to completely clear the insurgents from Baga and nearby towns due to inadequate equipment.
Boko Haram carried out a series of mass killings in Baga between January 3 and January 7, 2015, after the army headquarters there was sacked by the insurgents.
Although the military later liberated the town, soldiers stationed in the area have come under constant attacks from the insurgents. . The attacks on the military came on the heels of the suicide attacks on Yola and Kano respectively.
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/nigerian-army-denies-losing-105-officers-to-boko-haram/ From the bolded, Burutai claims that the soldiers went on a mission and have returned. He failed to tell us the mission and how he concluded that it's same 105 soldiers that went on a mission that we are insinuating that are missing. If they have returned to their battalion, why single them out of the possible hundreds in the battalion to tell us that they are not missing? What's he trying to cover? Now let's take another look at sahara reporters version, shall we? A military spokesman, Colonel Tukur Ismail Gusau, has denied a media report that Boko Haram insurgents overran troops in Guzamala, Borno State. The report had also claimed that the Islamist fighters killed several soldiers, adding that some soldiers, including the commanding officer of the military unit, could not be accounted for.
In a statement, Colonel Gusau stated that it was untrue that Boko Haram terrorists ransacked soldiers of the 157 Task Force Battalion in Guzamala. He also dismissed the report that the troops lost equipment to the terrorists. He declared the report as “a fabrication from the imagination of those sympathetic to Boko Haram ways of life.” According to the military spokesman, insurgents attacked the location of 157 Battalion last Wednesday, but they were “subsequently repelled by the gallant troops of the Unit.” He added that the unit’s commanding officer remained in contact with his Brigade Commander. The statement added that the unit suffered some casualties in the attack, describing such losses as “normal in military operations.” Colonel Gusau stated, “The affected personnel sustained minor injuries but no gunshot wounds were sustained by the troops.” The military declared that the “number of casualty and equipment lost as being circulated is not correct,” accusing the media of unnecessarily blowing the situation “beyond proportion to give terrorists the type of propaganda they desired.” Colonel Gusau said the officers in charge of “Operation Lafiya Dole” had addressed the issue and given reporters the opportunity to ask questions and clarify doubts about the incident. Interested in Advertising? Sponsored Ad Gusau, in one sentence told us that there were no equipment lost, whatsoever, and no gunshot wounds, right?
How come his stance changed in his subsequent statement? You say the number of equipment lost is incorrect, what this implies is that at least some equipment were lost and there were casualties, but maybe not as much as the public were insinuating.
Now, if there were casualties in a boko haram kind of attack, would we expect the casualties to be victims of sword injuries? Of course not. For boko haram to have mounted such attack in a MILITARY BASE, they must have come with heavy gunpower, so casualties from the attack must sustain gun wounds at least. This contradicts Gusau's earlier statement that no soldier sustained any gunshot injury. The truth is that Our military are trying so hard to cover up this whole mess but they are making some silly mistakes. |
