Kestolovee95: Joe Ankrah never supported biafra, he only chaired the aburi meeting and signed as a witness. The Aburi declaration was not a declaration of Biafra, it was an agreement of a confederation, but your senile gowon went back to lagos and started creating states and declaring police action. Now who reneged? Ojukwu?
Boy, you are a stark illiterate, please stop mentioning me. Don't go and read books, keep running around like a failed web blogger that you are. You keep making ignorant claims. Members agree that the legislative and executive authority of the Federal Military Government should remain in the Supreme Military Council, to which any decision affecting the whole country shall be referred for determination provided that where it is possible for a meeting to be held the matter requiring determination must be referred to military governors for their comment and concurrence. Ojukwu felt that he was bigger than the supreme military council, because it was being headed by a 'small boy'. Even after the accord, countless effort were still made to reach out to ojukwu to rethink the war, but he blatantly refused. |

Kestolovee95: Mr man go and get the full Aburi declaration paper and read it holistically. The agreement was signed by both Ojukwu, Gowon abd Joe ankrah as witness. Your war criminal gowon came back to lagos and claim he didn't understand the contents of what he signed in Aburi. When Biafrans shout "On Aburi we stand", they are making illiterates like Chris chinedu look like fools... do well to bring out the full text of the accord for me. innocent biafrans were told lies of what never happened. If that was the agreement, how come the Ghanaian president, Joe ankrah, never mentioned it? How come he never supported biafra? |

Kestolovee95: Let us drift apart so that we may survive than collide in unity for destruction- Ojukwu 1966, Aburi Ghana
Those few words sums it all up, everybody agreed and signed the Aburi agreement including Gowon. Gowon got to lagos and reneged because he felt he had British warships and Russian tanks.
That's why Biafrans will say 'On Aburi accord we stand because gowon reneged. You are obviously a juvenile just growing pubic hairs, with zero knowlege of history, go pick up a Biafran history book and stop looking to 'hammer' millions on the internet by wasting your life blogging. You refused to read, yorubas then filled your empty skull with their crap. Pick up a book, Lazy plonker! "Members agree that the legislative and executive authority of the Federal Military Government should remain in the Supreme Military Council, to which any decision affecting the whole country shall be referred for determination provided that where it is possible for a meeting to be held the matter requiring determination must be referred to military governors for their comment and concurrence.
Specifically, the council agreed that appointments to senior ranks in the police, diplomatic, and consular services as well as appointment to superscale posts in the federal civil service and the equivalent posts in the statutory corporation must be approved by the Supreme Military Council.
The regional members felt that all the decrees passed since January 15, 1966, and which detracted from previous powers and positions of regional governments, should be repealed if mutual confidence is to be restored.Pray, tell, how did you get to make out this from the above? "Let us drift apart so that we may survive than collide in unity for destruction" |

Politics › Re: Why Biafra .? by naijapips02: 12:09am On Nov 11, 2015 |
In response to lygn19 question Why Biafra.? In Biafra, we have total control of our resources which we will use to prosper and secure our society What resources? Unlike Nigeria where our resources are not fully under our control. Therefore denying the political structure the means to develop our land eg Abia state can't dredge Azumini river because of her insufficient cash despite the fact that she generates lots of money for Nigeria. I hope you are not ropping the SS into this? In Biafra, revolution is possible against corruption since we see ourselves as one people undivided by tribe or religion
Unlike Nigeria where Abuja will deploy Northern soldiers to thwart our revolution. So you want to tell me that igbere people will allow you kill Uzor Kalu? Or Umuahia TA? Abeg pass me some skunk, In Biafra, we share similar value system which is a good anti dote to unhealthy rivalries
Unlike Nigeria where our religious and ethnic differences have seen an unhealthy rivalries leading to death at times similar value systems does not make a nation. it might make a clan but never a nation. Diversity is the beauty of a nation. In Biafra, Igbo technological innovations will see Africa rise out of backwardness
Unlike Nigeria where everything is oil oil oil. nothing stops we igbos from developing those technologies in NIgeria. Yet another trash. |

You can only rant online, in the real world you won't have anymore tooth to chew if you bring your odoriferous crap close to people like me. I spit on your carcass. actually, your fore fathers fought for Nigeria. some died because of Nigeria. Most of the wealth you are enjoying today was made possible because your fore fathers were Nigerians. The war was fought out of foolery and ignorance nee ego. it's 50 years since the war, and yet people like you are still exhibiting the same foolery? I will have no reverence for you if you die fighting a foolish war. zombie. |

MRFIXX: Most are in support of it. Biafra is a sentiment shared by all true Igbo sons and daughters. Once an Igbo reads about Nigeria and the civil war the spirit possesses him. All Kalu did was to reawaken the spirit. Not even Kalu himself can stop it again. Not all igbo men reason with their hearts. |
