If there's ever anything, i think MTN should be complimented on the way they handled this sim registration thing. No Telco was as zealous as they were. No? |

Karmanaut: What is unjust about the fine? They faltered and were punished, it's the way an ordered society is run. nah. I don't believe they faltered more than the other Telco companies. They were just singled out because they were big and Nigeria believed they had to cut their pound of flex off the big elephant some how. Like i said, i've never gone to register my airtel and etisalat lines, and they are still very active. Even thought the last time i used the airtel line was last year. |

Karmanaut: Well done, shill. #100 MTN airtime has been deposited into your account. brother, i airtime is not my problem. I actually make calls for free. I recharge like 5H everyday for browsing and get up to 1500 to call anyone. I don tire to the call. I'm just being imperatively practical here. MTN is our best shot to good phone services right now. The fine on them is purely unjust. Even you would agree with me that MTN tried the most in this sim registration thing. They had to block almost all their simcards so that owners would come to register. This is totally not fair. Lalasticlala we need to help MTN out abeg. |

I am really pissed as i am writing this. MTN has proven to be the best and most reliable Telco in Nigeria. In terms of signal strength, it is indisputable that they are number one. Their coverage is next to none. Their services, even though it's not uhuru yet, is miles ahead of the others. No Telco in Nigeria can manage the amount of customers they have and still be this efficient. Etisalat are just criminals. some months ago, i subscribed to a daily internet bundle, and Etisalat automatically opted me into their mumu auto-renewal plan. I called the customer care and complained, they promised they've cancelled it, but each time i recharged, they still took my N100. I had to dump the sim-card somewhere. The grouse about MTN failing to ensure proper registration of their customers is just plain witch-hunt. I had like 4 MTN lines, all duly registered. Yet MTN blocked 3 of them and left me with my main line. My Airtel and Etisalat, even though i never registered them in person, were never blocked. MTN was the most effective Telco in this sim registration thing. They had to force people to come out and register. No telco did that. Besides, MTN packages are the best. They have the fastest internet2User speed. And they are also very lenient. Do you think they do not know you are using SS? Or you think they can't block you? With the MTN Truetalk, they give you 200% bonus on every recharge and still charge you at normal rate (as low as even 8k on zone) Glo bumba gives you 200% and charge you 50k/s . Don't even go to Etisalat. Once you migrate out of any plan, your 200% bonus is gone and their call rates are so freeging expensive. They still remain the only Telco that you can rollover the free data they dash you. The Nigerian Government should really look into this fine. Because, evidently, we are still the ones that you would be affected. The company is definitely going to downsize to save cost. And who would be those to be sacked? our brothers and sisters. I am not in any way advertising. Dem no sabi me. All i am saying is that what's fair is fair. MTN should be pardoned. |

Chylo: To start with, I'm an igbo man from Anambra (my position on biafra is not important). I have observed the recent protests, but I do not think these protests would actually help in making biafra a reality in a democratic setting.
I propose a referendum. How you may ask? because referendums are not in any part of our constitution and are thus illegal. My proposal is for the Biafra movement to form a political party (could be called anything). This party would then seek for elections in all the regions of the proposed biafra (i.e SE and SS).
This would give the people the opportunity to have Biafra members as state house of representatives, Governors, commissioners, Senators (3 from each state), house of rep members etc. All of these people belonging to the pro-biafra movement and speaking with one voice. In this way, they can begin a push for national dialogue or constitutional amendment. And at the very least, begin to implement the El-Dorado or Utopia concept of the unity and development of Ndi-Igbo.
This would of course happen if they win. If the pro-biafra movement candidates do not win, then it should be taken that the majority of our people are not in support. So all this "evangelism" could be turned to political rallies in support of the biafra party candidates in election season to try to persuade our people to vote pro-biafra candidates through out.
In this way, this could be a kind of pseudo-referendum, because if the candidates of the party clear the polls, then it could be taken that there is popular support. It is also possible they win in SE but not in SS, this would also show where the loyalty of those people lie. But imagine if all the current governors and senators were produced right from the biafra movement. There wouldn't be as much police and political harassment and if things get too bad, all the governor's could come together, appoint a leader amongst them and secede.
This is just an idea and I would like robust discussion as to the likely pros and cons of such an approach. Thanks.

Have you noticed that ever since the Biafrans are accusing Buhari of being behind BH , they are now capturing BH kingpins
Why.?
IPOB has given UN enough evidence that implicates Buhari has being behind violence in Nigeria.
Buhari is confused and helpless Buhari never called the SE/SS 5%. That was a political statement he made that was perfectly understood by the powers that be. Really? Jonathan also captured BH kingpins in 6 weeks....very suspicious, that one. IPOB has no evidence so far....instead the are showing the UN how unruly and uncivilized the recent movement for biafra is. |

So the earlier you plan for a post Nigeria the better for you.
UN Referendum is coming soon
Your fooolish President fell into the trap set by KANU
Jonathan ignored him, Buhari gave him audience
No bro. You are the one that fell into Bubu's wicked plan for the igbos. With all your protest and all, he's yet to even make a statement on the issue. What does that tell you? if actually kanu set that plan, then he miscalculated big time. With the way this is going, i am sure that DSS do have concrete evidence to still detain kanu. And when the time's come, it would be presented and kanu would be sold to the world as a rebel. No one supports a rebel. |
