An exclusive video has been released to YouTube detailing the visit of Nigerian 'Prophet' T.B. Joshua to Tanzania and revealing further details of the pastor's closeness to the East African nation's new pace-setting President.

In the clips, Joshua is warmly welcomed at the airport by Tanzania's President, Dr John Magufuli, who is a described as a 'regular visitor to The SCOAN and an Emmanuel TV partner'.

Comments on the YouTube video, uploaded by Emmanuel TV's official channel, were replete with requests for the controversial cleric to visit their respective nations.

The clip comes days after another Emmanuel TV YouTube video purportedly showing the deliverance of a young man who 'turned into a dog' went viral.

Yesterday evening, Governor Ugwuanyi on his way back to Government House after attending a meeting of the State Executive Committee (SEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ran into an accident scene that involved a commercial bus and an old woman who was begging at pascan jake traffic light junction, along Bissala road, independence layout, Enugu. The governor on noticing what happened, ordered his convoy to a stop . .. He nervously jumped out of his car, not minding his status, rushed to the woman who was lying helplessly inside a keke, and directed the medical team in his convoy to transfer the woman to their vehicle and rush her to Park lane hospital, immediately, for urgent medical attention.....
It was an amazing experience. His action really thawed the hearts of the onlookers who kept pouring uncontrollable blessings on him for such a rare disposition .

The National Working Committee, NWC, of the Progressive Peoples Alliance, PPA, yesterday, rejected the result of the Abia North Senatorial re-run election conducted last weekend in Abia State.

The NWC vowed to deploy every legal arsenal available to unmask perpetrators of the electoral robbery and retrieve the stolen mandate of PPA’s candidate, Chief Orji Ujor Kalu.

The party’s NWC members, who rose from an emergency meeting in Abuja, particularly rejected the result of the re-run election announced by 1:45pm of Sunday March 6, 2016, in favour of PDP candidate, Mr. Mao Ohabunwa, which they described as daylight robbery.

The NWC therefore, called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to revert to the declaration of returning officer, Dr. Ejike Nwankwo by 7:00pm that the results were inconclusive by affirming the cancellation of the controversial polling units in Ohafia and Arochukwu Local Government Areas.”

Accusing the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, of complicity, the NWC noted that what happened later the same day was a product of compromise and arm twisting.

It said, “INEC having done its duty fairly and correctly in the morning should never have allowed itself to be prevailed upon to shift ground.”
Recall that the founder of PPA, and former governor of Abia State, Chief Orji Ujor Kalu was the party’s candidate for the Abia North senatorial election of March 28, 2015 and subsequently participated in the March 5, 2016 re-run election as ordered by the Court of Appeal.

Rejecting the result of the election it tagged “Daylight Electoral Robbery,” the National chairman of PPA, Chief Peter Ameh, told newsmen in Abuja that the NWC stands by the decision of the returning officer, Dr. Ojike Nwankwo at 7:30am of March 6, 2016.

According to him, “The National Working Committee of the Progressive Peoples Alliance, PPA, strongly disagrees with and rejects the result of the Abia North Senatorial re-run election announced by 1:45pm on March 6, 2016.

“We state that it is indecorous to announce one result in the morning and another in the afternoon.

“We believe that the decision of the returning officer, Dr. Ejike Nwankwo at 7:00pm on March 6, 2016 at the Ohafia collation centre to cancel the results of some poling units in Ohafia and Arochukwu Local governments for irregularities and declaring the election inconclusive thereby, is correct fair and even-handed.

“We state that what happened later same day is a product of compromise and arm-twisting. INEC having done its duty fairly and correctly in the morning should never have allowed itself to be prevailed upon to shift ground.

Owerri—To say that these are not the best of times for people either living in or passing through Imo State, will safely translate to telling the truth. The criminals have not ceased from injecting new and deadly tactics in the criminal lexicon of the state.

It must also be stated in clear terms that while the diaries of security agencies operating in the state will bear out in the truism, it remains also true that not all crimes were reported to the security organizations.

The above facts do not in any way rubbish the efforts of the nation’s security personnel in combating crime and criminals operating in the state. The success stories of the 34 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Obinze, Owerri West local council area of the state, gives the citizens a ray of hope.

As at the last count, the Brigade arrested 13 suspects for sundry crimes committed in the state. They include three suspected kidnappers, nine suspects for illegal oil bunkering and another for illegal possession and use of firearm.

Giving a graphic account of the Brigade’s success stories, the Army Public Relations Officer, APRO, 34 Artillery Brigade, Captain A. Y. Jingina, said that in January 2016 alone, operatives from the Brigade impounded two Sino trucks for illegal oil bunkering.

“On January 21, 2016, our troops deployed as Quick Response Group, QRG, along Port Harcourt-Owerri road, arrested four suspects for illegal oil bunkering. The suspects are Mr. Anas Mohammed (driver), Mr. Abdulmajid Aliyu (conductor), Mr. Christian Nnochiri (loader) and Mr. Ejima Emeka, the owner of the product”, Jingina said.

According to the APRO, “the suspects were carrying unquantified volume of substances suspected to be diesel in Dangote Sino truck with identification number ICT-15D-038” and registration number Kano, WDL 491 XA.

Six days after the first arrest, another Dangote Sino truck with registration number, KMC 136 ZY and identification number, ICT-16B-041, was nabbed also, for illegal oil bunkering, at about 5.25am in Eziorsu, Oguta local government area of the state.

“The truck was loaded with 22,000 litres of substances suspected to be crude oil. The truck was arrested on a tip-off to our soldiers and men of the Civil Defence. The suspects were said to have locked and abandoned the truck. An electrician and excavator were hired before the truck could be pulled out from the sand and driven to the barracks”, the APRO said.

Beyond the Dangote trucks, the Brigade equally impounded other vehicles fully laden with petroleum products. These includes a Man Diesel truck with registration number, ABB 239 XA, and another articulated Man Diesel truck with registration number, ACA 744 XA.

The APRO disclosed that the former truck was carrying 10,800 litres of suspected diesel, loaded into a well constructed metal and concealed with piles of 2×4 inches wood, while three suspects, Mr. Charles Anayo Nwachukwu, Mr. Chika Uche and Mr. Chuks Samuel Agwa, were apprehended inside the truck.

“Items recovered from the suspects includes three mobile phones and the sum of N63,000, which was used in feeding the suspects, while the preliminary investigation lasted”, Captain Jingina said.

Continuing, the APRO said that the occupants of the articulated Man Diesel truck abandoned the vehicle and took to their heels on sighting soldiers, another set of suspected illegal oil bunkerers, Mr. Ernest Ofoegbu and Mr. Collins Okoh were nabbed and their Volks Wagen 18-seater bus, with registration number, ABB 381 XA, was impounded.

While Jingina said the army nabbed Mr. Arinze Osimiri for alleged illegal possession and use of firearm and handed over to the police for further investigation and possible prosecution, the APRO also said that they confronted kidnappers and released their victims.

Most certainly, there are a few possibilities why someone with an extremely high IQ could fail at school which are but are not limited to:

1. They are bored and uninterested in the subjects

2. Hate the teachers

3. Hate the students

4. Have bad home lives

5. They could be lazy procrastinators who have found everything easy and so have forgotten how to study or don’t have the discipline required to put in the effort needed or fail due to not changing their methods

6. They stay up too late making them feel tired in the mornings and of such don’t wake or sleep in due to a multitude of reasons

7. Have an inferiority / superiority complex and so don’t like being told what to do which can lead to dropping out, getting an expulsion due to their actions against said authority figures and / or loosing interest

8. Have a plan already for after school which does not need good grades or are inheriting / taking over a company owned by their equally/less/more intelligent parent(s)

9. They could get mixed up with the wrong crowd and get hooked on drugs such as weed and alcohol essentially leading to many issues

10. Feel socially inclined to be cool or succumb to social pressure of which means getting bad grades and not doing study / homework

11. Lack in other intelligent aspects such as an adequate memory

12. Could be like ‘rain man’ and so cannot pass on all areas of school due to lack of an aptitude for them and are only good at one thing but are a prodigy at this, or the way the information is taught and / or then asked in tests does not suit them

13. Could be free going types whom don’t wish to make plans or have commitments and are happy wherever the wind takes them

14. They could fail by being injured in a way that is detrimental to their school advancements

15. Could gain a mental health issue such as depression leading to no motivation or could have something like dyslexia

16. Could become insane leaving school or think drastically different to the norm and so might feel no need for school

17. Their insecurities could lead to wanting to leave school such as social anxieties or they could break down due to pressure

18. May be held back by pride and narcissism making them not want to be with other students or study like other students

19. May be a misanthrope and want nothing to do with society in general

20. They might die from different possible causes or commit suicide

Not only is this a possibility but due to the nature usually possessed by a person with an extremely high IQ. It is probably more common than someone with a normal IQ.

ENUGU—Residents and motorists in Enugu State are wearing long faces occasioned by the acute scarcity of petrol which has drastically affected prices of staple food items sold across markets in the state.

At filling stations located on Ogui Road, New Haven axis of Enugu metropolis, motorists purchased petrol at N120 per litre against the government approved price of N86.50 per litre.

Major filling stations operated by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, located on Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway witnessed long queues, as motorists slept at the filling station in a desperate bid to buy at the N86.50

A bag of sachet water which sold N80 now sells for N150 even as transport fares have had a marginal forty percent increase.

Mr. Johnson Chukwuobasi, a motorist, regretted that the fuel scarcity had defied all known solutions adopted by the Federal Government to mitigate its effect.

“Since the advent of the All Progressives Congress, APC, led administration at the centre, this situation has gone on unabated. We are buffeted with promisses that the situation will ease but rather, it has worsened till this very week. The last time we experienced this type of acute fuel shortage was during the military era.

“The prevailing situation has increased transport fares, food items, cost of services among others. Is this what we will experience for four years?

“To make matters worse, the roads in the South-East, now death-traps, are not getting any attention from the Federal Government. This scarcity is at the very heart of our day-to-day activities. From all indications, it appears the government is overwhelmed by the challenge.

A 32-year-old horticulture apprentice, Abeng Oji, who was alleged to have raped a six-year-old girl, was yesterday arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court sitting in Lagos.

The defendant, who hails from Obubra area of Cross River State, was however, granted N5 million bail by Magistrate W. B. Balogun, with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case to April 13 for mention.

The defendant is facing a one-count charge bordering on defilement of minor.

The prosecutor, Inspector Feddy Asu, told the court that the defendant committed the alleged offence on January 30, at 6a.m., at Ologolo community in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of the state.

Asu also alleged that the defendant had access to the girl’s house since he worked as a horticulturist apprentice for the father of the girl.

The court ordered the case file be duplicated and sent to the office of Directorate of Public Prosecution, DPP, for legal advice.
