A Nigerian man identified as Chukwa Onwumere Zef, along with a Sri Lankan citizen have been arrested and detained by the Kancheepuram district police near Mamallapuram on charges of staying illegally in India.

The two men were caught during a door-to-door inspection ahead of the informal meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese president Xi Jinping scheduled to take place in the coastal town from October 11 to 13.

While the travel documents of the Nigerian had expired, the Lankan national was found to have entered the country illegally a decade ago. The Nigerian was staying in the house of Nagamuthu in Venpurusham, a village near Mamallapuram.

“Both his passport and visa have expired but he hasn’t applied for extension,” said a police officer. The Mamallapuram police registered a case and detained him. Inquiries revealed that Raja Nayagam, 41, a native of Killinochi in Sri Lanka had entered India illegally in 2009 and was working as a painter. He was staying at the house of Balakrishnan, police said.

Kancheepuram district police said the house owners will be interrogated about housing foreign nationals in their premises without checking for relevant documents. The intensive checks will continue in the coming days, a senior police officer said. The two detained on Friday, September 20th were booked under Section 12 of The Passports Act and section 14 of the Foreigners Act.

Security operatives in Gombe state have apprehended a gang of notorious kidnappers terrorising residents of the state.

The Gombe State Police Command has rescued a four-year-old Miss Aishatu Mohammed from kidnappers, according to Punch.

The kidnappers, Hadiza Babayo, 18, and one Bala Shuaibu, were paraded on Friday by the police command at the Special Anti Robbery Squad premises in Gombe.

During the parade, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Mary Malum, noted that SARS operatives acted on credible intelligence, arrested Babayo from Lafiya, Lamurde Local Government Area of Adamawa State for criminal conspiracy and kidnapping.

She said, “During the course of interrogation, Hadiza Babayo confessed to the crime and stated how she and one Bala Shuaibu, abducted the victim from Gombe High school and kept her in a hotel at Nayi-Nawa quarters Gombe, where they demanded a ransom of six million naira (N6m) from the victim’s father before she could be released.

“The SARS operatives responded swiftly and rescued the victim unhurt, without any ransom”

According to the suspect, she told our correspondent in an interview that she contacted her boyfriend to kidnap her cousin to get money off her uncle. After bringing her from school, I arranged to take her to my boyfriend (Shuaibu), we wanted to use the opportunity to get money from my uncle since he had not shown me enough care, she stated.

An uncle to the victim, Alh. Umar Shafudeen, who spoke to our correspondent narrated how the abduction of Aishatu Mohammed was a 24-hours of turmoil.

He said, “We were disturbed because of the safety of the young girl and we had to visit the Commissioner of Police, who in turn alerted his men. We are glad that our child has been returned to us.”

A man of God, Pastor David Daniel has received the beating of his life after he lost concentration and tried to deliver a woman sexually in Lagos.

The Police at Ejigbo Division led by CSP Olabisi Okuwobi have rescued and arrested a 40-year old pastor, David Daniel, who reportedly went to conduct deliverance on a single lady in Lagos but started masturbating after seeing her captivating bums.

A report by PM Express revealed that the incident happened at Ailegun Road, Bucknor Estate, Ejigbo area of Lagos, where the lady resides and does her business.

The lady, simply known as Happiness, raised alarm and the neighbours, who heard her voice, rushed in. They reportedly joined hands and beat up the pastor before the Police went there and rescued him.

According to the victim, Happiness, she was in her shop when Pastor Daniel came and gave her prophecy about her family and her life generally, which she said were facts and she was convinced that he was a man of God.

She said Pastor Daniel went further and told her that he needed to go to her house to anoint it with olive oil since she just moved into the apartment and she accepted. She said it was when she got into her bedroom that he brought the olive oil and wanted to rub it into her private part. She reportedly resisted him before he asked her to get up and face the Bible. He was said to have moved to her back while praying; using his mouth to caress her bum.

“He asked me to pack my clothes tightly so that the shape of my bums will show and started praying. While he spoke in tongues, i looked back only to see him using the olive oil to masturbate his dick and later went to the toilet” she said.

However, after the encounter, Happiness said she realised that he was not a real Pastor but before then he had forced her to sow seed with money and collected her perfume.

She further narrated that after the prayers and the purported deliverance in her house, Pastor Daniel then told her that he wanted to marry and will making love to her.

It was such illicit move the next day to have s-x with Happiness that landed Pastor Daniel in trouble as he was thoroughly beaten up by the neighbours when she raised alarm.

Pastor Daniel is now being detained at the police station. He will be charged to court for his conduct.

A man, Edoghogho Omorogbe has left residents of Ovia North East local government area of Edo State in shock after slaughtering his in-laws.

Men of the Edo Police command have apprehended a 44-year old man, Edoghogho Omorogbe for killing his mother in law, sister- in- law and a six- month old baby.

According to TheNation, his victims were identified as Mrs. Alice Omorogbe 52, Mrs. Blessing Efe 25 and her baby.

Edoghogho killed his victims on September 10, 2019 at their residence at Iguadolor Community in Ovia North East local government area of Edo State.

A two-year-old girl inside the room at the time of attack was spared.

The mutilated bodies of victims were discovered the following morning.

Edoghogho said he killed his in-laws because of the way they were hiring boys to beat him anytime he had issues with his wife.

According to him: “I am a tipper driver but since the rains started I was doing menial jobs.

“I killed them out of annoyance because my mother -in- law used boys to beat me up. She would say I am talking to my wife. If I quarrel with my wife, she will send boys to beat me up.

“I didn’t know the cutlass will meet the baby. After I killed them, I ran away. Later I came out and went to tell my father what I did. I have not seen my wife since I killed her mother and sister.”

Edo Police Commissioner, Danmallam Abubakar said the suspect would soon be charged to court.
