they didn't, but they made us understand that every candidate invited was either a petrochemical or chemical graduate so I think they will still call others as it was not just chemical and petrochemical engineering graduates were eligible from their website where we applied.

I heard a male trouser goes for 500 naira in Bayelsa and i.e. if the stylist didn't do the cutting but does the joining alone, same for a shirt too. Is this a universal price? How do female stylists get paid too? Also how much will it cost if the stylist does the cutting and joining for both sexes.

I saw the script today, I was unjustly failed. She corrected my score from 35 to 37 and finally drove me out of her office when I was trying to point out an error for her to effect. I'm not in any way concerned about the first class result, I just need to graduate.

It's also right to give me all the blame while I'm still being frustrated at the moment. All I needed was to graduate with 2.1 since my 400level first semester. Sometimes you don't force yourself on people who discriminate you.

Blame it on my introverted nature. I gave up the hope of a first class in my 400lvl first semester when I had 5As, 1C and 1E. My problem is not even about that now, all I need now is just to graduate. I know they can't mess up my result to the point of falling me down to 2.2, I just need to graduate. She's saying I should just pray I don't have any other carryover on my second semester results, else she won't let me go.

After all it's just to pass your thing and go.. Humility matters a lot. . Just pray and humble yourself to her.. Cos if you want to fight her it will be a very long fight.... Appeal to her senses... Thanks a lot. I might not be having a spill if my my second semester's exams come clear according to her. She said the F will be waved if that's the only F I have in my final year. I so hope I don't fall victim again in my second semester results. I'm actually waiting for that result to be out now.

Were you able to take a picture of the script? Your school must have a complaint authority or something, but before that, go to any lecturer you're close to and tell him the whole thing, seek his advice/help on what to do. ( It's ideal to go to a disciplined lecturer/prof, someone your HOD can listen to)

I couldn't take a pic, I'll talk to my project supervisor about it by Monday and get his advice too.

This is sadism of the highest order. Report the matter to any good senior lecturer you know in time.as many as you know b4 its too late both within and outside the dept. Let dm interfere and try to talk some sense to her. Try and follow up to know the outcome. If u find out dat she is unyielding. Report to d dean and if nothing is done abt it. Quickly request for it to be marked again in the senate and try to meet and discuss with any strong and good staff you know or think can make things right . Eg d dvc acad or admin or registrar or even vc to help and ensure dt its marked properly. If u are sure u wrote well in ur exams, u will surely prevail f u follow ds advice. Make sure u do things quickly if u want to go for service in time. Dont gv up. Dnt yield to her wickedness.

Thanks, I was in her office today where she showed me my script. I was surprised to see some of my works not marked at all. She updated just one which carries 2marks and pushed me out of her office when I was showing her more things after trying to prove to me that I didn't construct my answers well to her marking scheme even if my answers were correct. I just weak. Do you think I stand a chance if I still take this matter up?

Some lecturers are just too wicked, they're always trying to fail their students for no reason. Imagine, a lecturer denying his student an "A" grade he earned just because he doesn't want that student to graduate with a first class or a 2:1, this is an act of wickedness that most be curtailed, else the dream of so many students will continue to be shattered..
BTW.. whatever it turns out to be pls don't give up, jst accept it and move on, The Almighty is in control..

Good day guys. I just feel like sharing a problem here so people can see and probably learn.

I'm in my fifth year of studying chemical engineering in Niger Delta University, Bayelsa state. I've never had an F in my life before. I've always been an 'A' student. I've had 5points twice in that same department, I'm among the top three students in the whole of faculty of engineering for my set but here I am battling with an F awarded to me by my HOD herself. On that same result she gave me my first F, I had 6 A's and 1 F which was hers so my chances of graduating is very slim as it stands right now. I might unfortunately be having a spill after all resources spent on B.Eng.

Now I've not gone to meet her cos of some reasons.....on showing us our results, she made it known to us that no modification on that result again, that's not the only issue, this particular lady has been on my neck since from my 300level days, complaining about my dressing like do chemical engineers dress on jalabia? but that was all I could afford by then, sometimes she says I don't look like a student from my dressing cos I wasn't putting on shoes but palm. She sees me outside and accuses me of bunking classes and not reading, a lot of things.

I also can't tell if its a tribal sentiment, I'm a northerner and this lady is a bayelsan, plus I've heard one of our lecturers telling me to my face that I can't make a first class in their school. I still don't know why I chose this school in the first place. I'm just confused now, I don't think I deserve all these.

I'll meet her tomorrow hopefully and hear from her, I just hope I don't come back for a spill in this school, I might just drop out or defer to complete my schooling later in life. Thanks for reading.

Pls help a brother who has been suffering from dry flaky lips all year round. I've gone to the hospital to complain, I was given some vitamins and iron supplements drugs which I was responding well to till the drugs got finished and now I'm back to square one. My lips are always dry and always peeling off. I've tried google too, I got several home remedies which I've applied but still to no avail, I take a lot of water naturally. I can't really recall when I started having this issue but I know it has been for a very long time like 7 years ago.

I'm sure this same issue causes my lips to be black, pls I need your help on this. thanks.
