how I wish many African Artists make a video clip like this rather than focusing on materials. I have heard Tanzanian artists moving to South Africa to make video clips. Some other African Artists move to New York to make clips. But Africa is rich in culture and beautiful landscape. . . let us use it appropriately to introduce our culture like Omarion did to South Africa. And also introduce art with nature
The Tanzanian Motto is don't wash dirty linen outside. One musician was arrested for shooting a video in the slum. Their president is a dictator like that.
Kazikazi: Those loans you are taking from China will make you loose your Mombasa port! I warn you. But anyway, you sound thirsty. Here is the best juices in east africa
Nature has always bestowed humanity worth unlimited opportunities to shape his surroundings and the world generally. From the oceans to the mountains and from the canyons to the reeds, mankind has faced and surmounted nature's challenging obstacles. All over the world, picturesque cities have been built on mountains and railway tunnels have been constructed underwater to link destinations.where some mere mortals see obstacles, men of courage and vision see opportunities and flexibility.Such is the story of Eko Atlantic City.
Quick recap: Since 2013, there have been an aggressive land reclamation project along the Bar Beach coastline called Eko Atlantic City which is now at the final stage. At completion,Eko Atlantic City will be sitting on about 10kms(4 square miles) of land. This is an area located just adjacent to Victoria Island by the Lagos Bar Beach. It will be comparable to the Manhattan District of New York as the developers disclosed. The area will be approximately the size of the district which boasts some of the world's tallest sky-scrappers.Eko Atlantic City will even be larger than a handful of beautiful Island countries.
The fairy tale have so far been turning into reality:
Furthermore, Eko Atlantic City will be home to 250,000 people of differnt nationalties and ethnicity. Developers said it will be world-class housing projects and residential towers. It is also expected that 150,000 will commute to the city daily for business. This is approximately half the population of a couple of states in the USA and more than the population of several island counties in the world. To put into perspective,it will be greater than the population of countries like Cape Verse,Bahamas,Brunei,Iceland,Malta,Belize. https://i51.tinypic.com/2mgwft.jpg
The contract for the construction of Eko Atlantic City was awarded to South EnergyX,a subsidiary of the Chagoury Group in 2006.This was after Hi-Tech Construction Ltd,also a subsidiary of Chagoury Group, completed the km Shoreline protection of the Lagos Bar-Beach.
It will connect to an independent source of electricity and not the national power grid.stable power supply is a magnet for investment opportunities.
Eko Atlantic will be a city to live and work in. With its tree-lined boulevards, waterways, manicured gardens, elegant plazas, three marinas and a stunning ocean front promenade, the new city will be a complete contrast to the congested, traffic-filled streets of Lagos.
I know. Ghanians are always better than Nigeria by mere mouth.
I begin to give up on you and your brother when you said Ghana has a smart city. I'm not amazed,Ghana isn't worth the argument but its just for the sake of it.
A smart city uses modern technology to solve every of its problem Traffic Transportation A smart city attracts business, technology, tourism A smart city respects the Environment by laying down a reasonable % of its lavnd mass for Greeneries
A smart uses modern security infrastructure to handle security problems A smart city has a central sewage system It uses clean and renewable energy for Powering up its city It has a single central water system It has world class modern transport systems like Tram, light rail, cable car, efficient bus systems,Water transport systems.
it uses fibre optic cable to convey information
Note: A smart city majors on technology throughout its city
Etc I have schooled you for free since you compare your Ghanian village with EAC.
EAC already has a functioning water system, completed its energy estate and other basic infrastructures etc
I wont be surprised if you still rant that Accra is better than PH,its what you're known for
Read and don't be left in the stone age

Lionessza6: You can't be the original ones when you couldn't reach the finish line ..... deserters .
I really don't know how they became like that , maybe the killing of so many leopards on the way got on their heads , making them crave more dominance lol. Or we should ask the Cameroonians what they did to the people before they left that made them so angry , or ask king Mswati how he managed to plant the impostor in Zulu land . I have heard the nigger initially spoke Swati which is very odd , but any South African with more info on this can help .
Aren't Zulu and Xhosa languages mutually intelligible?
abbeg: In my defense it was owned by Britain.I couldn't have known a chunk of it was bought off by some Kenyan billionaire. But at least I don't say things that never existed like they are cold hard facts like you guys.
See there? I at least have proof of something false you said and I debunked. Now, can you tell me of something I said and you debunked?
abbeg: Which truth? my comrades dispose your arguments but you still come back for more and now when everyone is tired (including myself) you come back to claim your 'victory'.CHEAP.SHOTS. Well,it's your moment so enjoy it. Now you've got back-up from S.A. &Ghana and some of your colleagues are turning on the former. You guys really have issues.
It's the other way round sir. For instance, the last argument I had with you, you were trying to claim Britam is owned by whites. I disposed your argument and yet here you are claiming victory. Stop speaking of yourself as if it is somebody else.
vaxx: why Ghana is not building skyscraper is simple, most of this ill informed illiterate Nigerians does not know .Ghana is prone to earthquake disaster. Accra has records of damaging earthquakes dating as far back as 1636. The last three major ones occurred in 1862, 1906 and 1939. the worst one Accra has seen recorded which is one of the most destructive earthquake ever.
The was that one that struck the city and caused a lot of damage and loss of life and property in 1939. it destroy so many rich sites and since then goverment has taken caution not to build skyscraper or limit it.
if Accra is free like lagos, by now, Accra will be counting skyscrapers, yet with the lowrise building, she can comfortably compare with lagos.
Like Nakuru in Kenya. Due to faultlines, you can't construct skyscrapers in Nakuru but still remains one of the most beautiful cities in East Africa and many consider it the most livable city in Kenya.
vaxx: Then this is stupidity. Nigeria is having low HDI rank (152th rank) and India is having medium rank(135th rank). Thus camparing India with Nigeria is an insane idea anyway.
Ghana itself has a higher HDI rank than Nigeria. Accra is honestly doing well than the aforementioned cosmetic city of abuja. while lagos is comparable and as for uyo. i think you are sipping a high dose of codeine for such stupid comparism.
To a Nigeria, absolute size matters.
I have seen photos of Accra and honestly I find Accra better than any Nigerian city - including Abuja. Accra looks like a car city with low density buildings and the CBD is mostly lowrise but very impressive architecture. I would choose Accra over any Nigerian city any day.
TayserMahri: Just awesome how you kick their nuts. Am certain one idiot esp the random number guy is busy digging into each of the Ltds to see who owns them
The random number guy just gets lost and comes back with the same argument. Kumamoto will post falsities amid cheering Nigger arean fools. He will quote everything you post and respond with the usual starving, slums, Turkana et al. Once you engage him, he ignores and starts posting Tanzania parks photos. Reason I no longer respond to his stupid ass.
abbeg: Why are some Kenyans itching for an S.A. war here? you tired of taking fruitless jabs at Nigeria? You guys want to start ww3 on nairaland! Just saying tho I would totally side with S.A. against Kenya if an e-war were to break out here.Kenya is trash.I actually thought Kenya was better than Nigeria once. After seeing this thread.. I realise how good we've got it compared to Kenya.
After seing this thread, your ego couldn't allow you to spell out the truth that you already knew.
TayserMahri: No wonder you breathe hell fire here. Your top 14 mega companies make a mere half of what one Kenyan company makes. And you still have dreams? Boss! You are in a rat race.
You forgot to inform him all the 14 are either owned by Indians and Arabs or foreigners.
TayserMahri: They have a lot in common those two moles. Jayce asked hotpussy if he has been to SA before and hotpussy had to ignore that question because he risked exposing himself.
I remember a time hotpussy used to claim he lives in SA. His English sold him out - Typical Tanzanian English. He is called Uhuru na Umoja on Jamii Forums. On Skyscrapercity, he used to be Mark S, was banned and came back as Uhuru na Umoja. Strange character indeed.
Jonraid: We might as well start believing that South Africa was 'wholly' a product of whites and the blacks did NOTHING,but then again that's not how we roll!
Well, JaceBlaze seems to think what ignorant and arrogant Nigerians who, despite having some of the lowest standards of living in Africa see themselves as a developed enclave in Africa say is the gospel truth. We could as well believe the gospel the very same Nigerians have been preaching of South Africa.
If a Tanzanian company pulled this the whole internet would burst with Tanzanians for the next 50 years. There is a particular screenshot from a Kenyan paper back in 2010 where some journalist bemoaned Kenya's unemployment for some reason claiming it's the worst in the region. You could meet a Tanzania on the street and he would produce it on his phone and show you.
JaceBlaze: [sub][/sub]Facts are facts and they will always prevail over sentiments. Why do you think Nigerians here call you guys "little Indians"?
So apparently your 'facts' are based on the premise of Obaboon and co. calling Kenyans little Indians? So when they also say Kibera has 2.5 million people you'll take it as a fact? So when the kazikazi dude speaks as if every black person in Kenya lives in Turkana and is starving you'll take that to be a fact? When the same Nigerian idiots claim South Africa was built by whites for whites while the blacks live in the slums we should also believe their 'facts'?
Jonraid: Someone is on a rampage! The guy is trying hard to bring in Tanzania into the conversation. Can't say much though about people who kill albinos and regular little kids thinking they'll be rich!
See? I said so? He behaves like an insecure kid crying for attention.
ednited: Stop it already. If I were you, I could have started crying already (since you are a kid). You brought people to be against her but no one is thanking you as a hero. Eish. . .How bad does that feel??
But guess what? it's Runalong. . . he have a PHD on being an absolute looser. This is a tough deal for a kid cause he has nothing left to do in his life.
It sucks having the least confrontational person on this forum having your ass handed to you especially when everyone else including your Nigerian brothers has had their piece of you at some point. This running along refugee is the kind of loser I wouldn't even wish on my enemy.
w1234: I never knew tz skyscrapers were owned by they govt And that is why they will remain empty forever .
Yes, the government built them because Nairobi had skyscrapers and they wanted to compete. Now most of them are empty ghost towns. The average Tanzanian can't afford them and no multinational corporation is setting shop in Dar to want to rent them.
gallivant: Yo Runalong333, I don't have all day. Come outside and fight like a man.
He can't fight. The best he can do is tag South Africans so if you aren't provoking South Africans enough, he definitely won't think of anything to say to you.
rvp2018: Precisely. They are just in 1970s - where Gov is investing in grandiose projects instead of building roads, funding health, education and providing gov services. Instead of expanding the Dar Port - they forced the port operator to build two empty towers . Why would a port need two 34 towers tall towers? They need to dredge the port, buy cranes and such kind of stuff - no invest in real estate.
The 3 towers are still unoccupied yet they've topped out 5 more already. Currently they have 11 skyscrapers topped out and that;s all they got, nothing is breaking ground now and nothing is going to for a very long time.
He is kazikazi. We call him kumamoto because he behaves like a woman on heat (with hot p**y). We agreed not to respond to him because he's stupid. Please, try not to.
abbeg: Britam is owned by Britain.Britam KENYA has Kenyan shareholders.Or do Kenyans own the headquarters too?
Please - if you don't know how multinational corparations run then you better keep off this argument because apparently you're either too stupid for this argument or you just want to argue for the sake of it.
You wanted Britam Kenya shareholders - I gave you. 90% is Kenyan. The Headquarters of Britam Holdings are in Nairobi, not London. You either understand or remain stupid.
