w1234:Somebody once came with that argument here before. I listed him all Kenyan complete skyscrapers, they were 10 and all owned by Kenya with foreigners having a few stakes in Britam, UAP and LeMac. They had only 6 complete skyscrapers and one of them 100% foreign owned with foreigners having stakes in another. Most of their skyscrapers under construction are either foreign owned or majority foreign owned yet they keep coming here for the same argument. The Tanzanian brothers, their government did what our government did in late 60s and 70s - build government owned towers. Now most of the new towers in Dar lack occupancy and since 2015, no new skyscraper has broken ground. All the new skyscrapers are already topped out now. Trust me, that skyline is going to remain unchanged for a very long time. |
gallivant:.....and that little boy kazikazi aka kumamoto with his low self esteem is always crying for attention. Everytime somebody talks of another country, say Ethiopia and Ghana or Kenya, he comes in with a Tanzanian picture and is like, we have that in Tanzania too. Come and see. Just like how little kids would struggle for their mothers attention. He's so pathetic. ![]() |
abbeg:Do you have eyes? They own 90% of it.. Foreigners own only 10% Stupid. Or do you think only those 3 men are the Kenyan owners? The only non-Kenyan owners are Shareholders number 4 - Standard Chartered Nominees Non-Resident KE11752 www.nairaland.com/attachments/8701322_capture_jpeg6d0ce43c2e6495dc5ba7597dd3872afd |
abbeg:False...........Kenya currently has 10 complete skyscrapers. All of them are owned by Kenyans. Nigeria has 6 complete skyscrapers, 1 of them are foreign owned (Intercontinental Hotel) |
abbeg:Are you just being an idiot or you're an idiot? You keep asking for the owners of this tower, we keep giving you the owners yet you keep arguing otherwise. Once again, here are the shareholders of Britam Kenya. www.nairaland.com/attachments/8701322_capture_jpeg6d0ce43c2e6495dc5ba7597dd3872afd |
abbeg:Britam tower is owned by Britam Kenya. Below are the shareholders of Britam Kenya. Now tell me who owns Intercontinental house. The third tallest building in Nigeria? ![]()

gallivant:I've never seen people as pathetic as them. They clearly should. Fit for each other. |
abbeg:Which Kenyan tower do you know? |
ednited:Him and kumamoto aka are the biggest snitches on this forum. I guess in real life they gossip more than women. |
gallivant:That one is a special case. He can't speak for himself. He stands at the edges and waits for anyone to mention South Africa then comes here and tags all South Africans on this forum. He can't speak anything without mentioning South Africa. Some time back the South African girl Lionessza saw through his bullshit and thrashed his ass and told him off with his simping bullshit ..........you should have seen how he begged for forgiveness like a child. Interestingly on other threads, he's completely ashamed of Nigeria. Him and kumamoto are a bird of the same feather. |
68816419:So why aren't you numerous doctors improving your health because you still have the second lowest life expectancy in Africa? Are the figures cooked like GDP too? www.nairaland.com/attachments/8699896_capture_jpeg6d0ce43c2e6495dc5ba7597dd3872afd |
68816419:I don't see anything impressive about this pictures you're posting. The last time you started this kind of argument and dared us to respond something better out of the CBD, I posted you many better pictures and you ended up resorting to the usual - posting photos of Kibera instead. |
68816419:You keep sharing these stupid screenshots yet Nigeria has the second lowest life expectancy in Africa. What are your doctors doing exactly?
|
68816419:Chips is more of a snack than a food. We've never imported irish potatoes but we could import if need be. Meanwhile your North is starving - UN and FAO have to intervene. https://allafrica.com/stories/201807130160.html

MasterKrest:Stop contradicting yourself idiot. |
Please Tanzania, stop this ritual killings only. https://www.thecitizen.co.tz/News/Girl--7--found-dead-as-child-killers-spill-more-blood/1840340-4964200-15d6uwlz/index.html |
MasterKrest:So you are not informed in something yet you want to talk about it like an expert? |
MasterKrest:Who drills the oil idiot? |
Danielnino00:You're joking right? |
edon21:Which school did you go to? |
Ibrahimanis:Okay.................that aside though, look at Tanzania and Kenya's figures. Remember at the beginning of it, Nigeria had 10 times Kenya's GDP but in the case of Kenya and Tz. The difference was a mere $2 billion. Look at the figures. |
Ibrahimanis:Please, include the years from which you got those figures for better fact checking. |
samsobo24:I hope that isn't true. If it is then real Nigerians are lunatic halfwits. |
samsobo24:Now that sounds more like you. Just don't project yourself as somebody else to win arguments - we know you argue against everything Kenyan even when it's obvious. Don't pretend that you don't just to win arguments. That confirms that deep down you aren't even proud of yourself. |
samsobo24:If this is serenity then they must have changed the definition of serenity in the dictionary. www.nairaland.com/attachments/8689283_tetfund1_jpegd0501304bb82e6cdcc30263da826b1ae |
vaxx:Obaboon is an expert in hallucinations. Can you believe he used to say some Covenant University ranks higher than UoN. Thank you for exposing him. |
samsobo24:Oooh........so you did admit Naiobi is greener than Lagos? Tell me about it. ![]() |
Ibrahimanis:Key word - projections. As much as actual data goes, Kenya has been closing the gap. |
edon21:Nigerians don't have the systems, discipline and culture to pull what South Korea pulled. If you can barely provide basic needs for your populace with all your resources, what chance have you if the resources were taken away? |
edon21:Cars, electronics, tourism, quality education, fishing, manufacturing, ship building, some of the largest construction companies in the world. |
edon21:If it was a nation, It's GDP would be way less than what it is. You seem not to understand the basics of urban economics. Most of the GDP that is recorded in Lagos is produced elsewhere. For Instance, transactions on oil products mined in Rivers state are recorded in Lagos. Most of the agricultural products produced in rural Nigeria are processed and transacted in Lagos and their contribution to GDP recorded in Lagos. If Lagos was a country on it's own, income on such products wouldn't be captured in Lagos hence the GDP will be lower. Understood? Reason I gave you the Nairobi metro example. I could easily say if Nairobi was a country, it could be the 10th largest economy in Africa but I know it would not. |
