BusinessRe: Kubwa Village Market On Fire, 5 Persons Dead by najalady86:
This is a case of mans inhumanity against his fellow human due to greed… My relative lost his pregnant wife in this incident. What happened was that a supplier supplied kerosene to a woman who sells kerosene… Because of the recent increase in price of gas, a lot of people have resorted back to using kerosene and the suppliers now mix all kinds of product in the name of kerosene. This particular wicked supplier swore that his product was genuine… but as soon as he drove off, the woman asked her son to take a little of the product and test for standard. Unfortunately, he didn’t step far away from the tank and lighted a lighter for the testing… this immediately caught fire causing the kerosene tank to explode and spit fire everywhere.

Justice must be served. This supplier must be found and prosecuted. Government must take responsibility.. My heart is broken..

No, the big shame is on Chikwendu for not accepting rejection in good faith.
It’s obvious all these sort of comments are coming from the paid BOT of those bent on unjustly frustrating this young mother… But be rest assured that victory will be hers at last… You guys should just not let your evil plots against her be your undoing… Nothing can justify denying a mother access to her children.

Hello all, please does anyone know of any agent that can help with closer interview date? Please help a friend. Thanks in advance.

PS. I had my baby two weeks today at HNWMC. Hospital stay was great but we need to demand for better service from Dr. Xydas group. They seem to have started taking us for granted. Their visit to me at the hospital was like breezing in to say hello and out almost immediately. Meanwhile the Dr. on call didn’t even attend to my delivery. She only came in after I had put to bed. I mean, we actually pay a lot. I only had two drs visit before baby came. My two cents..

PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Kanu: "Buhari Is Not In Nigeria, Man From Sudan Impersonating Him" by najalady86: 9:49am On Sep 04, 2017
It's really sad what this government of the day has turned to! Rather than address the fundermental issues this guy raises daily that endear many youths to him, they choose to focus attention on his person. They orchestrate all sorts of lies to paint him black and end up shooting themseles in the foot. Anyone who has data to watch this so called video can easily see this Kanu guy was not saying what they want people to believe he said. This video is as fake as they come. But then, how many people can afford the data to watch it an see that is all a liehuh My question to this Givernment is, do you honestly think silencing Kanu as a person will put an end to the various agitation for restructuring et al from various sections of the Country? SMHS

Throwback:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzg84rCnMPA I have long maintained that this man is a terrorist who has no regard for any law despite making himself to be a victim who has been denied his rights.

I do not believe in peace, I only believe in justice. So if by law he his deemed worthy of an arrest, and as a result his terrorist group attempt to "bomb Nigeria down to the ground", then every single one of them should be neutralized. 2 million terrorists under oath to his command in Abuja is of no significance to the case of facts before the judge, so Kanu should stop being scared of returning to the prison he voluntarily campaigned to return to. Terrorism disguised as people power will not stop the Judge from revoking a bail that has been vehemently abused.

Those who love to cry to the UN and US, should also send in this video recording showing their leader at his menacing finest. This video is enough evidence to conclude the treason prosecution of the accused. This video is also enough evidence when the anarchy he has consistently campaigned for is unfolded at Abuja.
They will attempt to play the victim card, but this video is all that will matter, to show that the victim propaganda is only a tool designed by the aggressor.

Give this arrogant egoist a microphone, and in due time he talks himself into destruction. I really do not envy his lawyers who have to argue the case of a difficult man who makes their work tedious.

IPOB is a terrorist group, and Kanu is the chief terrorist.

Hi beautiful people,
Got a lot of PMs regarding my last post and replying all will be kinda tasking as most people are asking similar question.
Hope I can share the details here?
for the hospital and Dr., i have already shared it in the past. It's St. Francis hospital and Dr. M
The 2700 you pay hospital covers all services recieved in the hospital including hearing test. You also get a complementary toddler stroller.
Circumcision was ok but they left a little bit more fore skin than our naija Doctors would normally leave. My baby's Dr. back home here says its ok though.

For the accomodation, it's actually a big 3 bedroom flat that comes with swimming pool and gym. It goes for 2500 per month. Three, two or even four people can combine and take it as the living room is equally big. It's available from 1st July. Pls if you are interested, get people to share with and reach out to me asap. I am only assiting as I know this our forex regime is not smilling at all.

Regards

Guess I've rested enough. Here's my story. About 10 days before my travel date, swelling on my legs which had always been minimal increased so much. Even after raising the legs up at night, the moment my feet touches ground in the morning the swelling returns. 3 days before my travel, I used the home bp monitor to check my bp and it was ranging btw 140/80 and 145/85. I immediately drove to hospital. Nurse on duty checked with the manual bp monitor and another young dr checked and it was still high. They had to call my consultant. He ordered they check my urine for protein and nothing came up...he eventually came himself, checked the bp and said it was normal.

3 days later I travelled with Lufthansa on a united ticket at 34 weeks + some days. Requested for wheelchair and they said since I brought fit to fly I can't use wheel chair. I was shocked cos several pple here have used wheelchair. They agreed to book for my mum cos of her arthritis yet we didn't see any wheelchair neither at Frankfurt nor LAX. We flew to Frankfurt and had a 4 hrs layover b4 we flew to LAX. All the while, my mum was so worried about the swelling.

POE was a breeze.
Cbp: what are you here for?
Me: childbirth
Cbp: ok. How long are u here for?
Me: 2 months
Cbp: sorry, what did u say u are here for again?
Me: childbirth, delivery, to have my baby (lol...that's d type of confidence saying the truth at the embassy gives u)
Took our finger prints and stamps us in for 6 months.

We went to agriculture...the officer was busy shouting to the guy scanning the bags...Nigeria, Nigeria, lol...our bags were scanned but we weren't asked to open it.

When we got to my aunty's house...the legs had tripled in size and she insisted I see the dr immediately ( my appt wasn't till another 4 days). We called his office and luckily he was still around...said they close at 5pm. It was already 4pm...so without eating or anything...they drove us to the dr office. My relations went in to greet him (they had known him for a long time) I had no idea, while I filled out the forms. When I saw the dr, my bp had shot up to 159/100. He told me point blank to head straight to the hospital as I had developed pre-eclampsia and baby had to be induced immediately. He said the financial dept would have closed for the day and they don't open weekends...so we had only the next day to pay and sign the contract...cos if I deliver without signing it...I would be left with a bill of over $40k. Got to the hospital and was admitted. Was placed on magnesium IV to prevent seizure...while they ran tests...the same ones I would have done with the doctor's office.

Next day my mum sorted the bills...while they brought the papers for me to fill...despite the induction starting Thursday night...i didn't deliver till almost mid day Saturday...cervix no gree dilate till...was almost heading to OR for c-section b4 LO came forth...I hadn't eaten in almost 48 hrs...day said no food, no water...was just allowed to chew ice...where the strength to push came from...I don't know.

The main testimony is that LO didn't need to go to NICU...was almost peeing in my pant when the thought of it came to my mind...cos of bills...she was just in the nursery...they did hearing test...checked for jaundice...was later discharged. LO is 3 weeks old currently.

Used st Francis medical center and dr. Mb---u. Hospital bill $2700 for vag. Delivery (includes paediatrician, epidural (the thing wore off towards the actual delivery). Stayed an extra day which cost $900 (covers both me and baby). Hospital gives free stroller. I've gotten zero balance.

Dr fees had always been 1500 and 2500 for vag and csection respectively. When I got here...saw it was now 1000 and 1300...was told the dr considered the current economic situation in Nigeria and decided to slash his self-pay fees. Hmmm...Angels still dey dis earth Shaa.

Since baby came early, wanted to shift my date but United wants an arm and a leg just to change date...I'm chilling (mum is here with me, hubby is coming, wonderful host...no need to run home)
Wow. Congrats dear. I think you were the one i saw my first day at the Dr's office with your LO mum and aunty. Didn't know you went through all these. May God's name be praised. And like you said, the Dr. Is a God sent. Nice to a fault. May God bless him. He even offered to collect his fees via wire transfer despite slashing his fees.
And for those considering L.A., trust me it's so much better here. Used Oakbend and Dr F last time and i can tell the difference. There is also Metro bus and train to almost every where. Haven't spent up to 10 dollars on transportation since I came and I go out almost every day. Most times, the bus driver will just wave you and say dodnt bother paying.

Hello People.
Thought I should share my POE experience.

Came in to LAX on 24th April via emirates. Flight from Dubai to Lax was toooooo long. Thank God I met a nice lady whose gist helped me endure the long trip. More so there was notthing spectacular about emirates service. The flight from Lagos to Dubai was like being in a Molue. Lol. Don't think I will ever use them again.
Anyway, back to POE gist.

After arrival, went to the ladies to refresh. Then joined the queue. But it was too long. I then motioned to an officer who was passing and informed her that i was pregnant and cant stand for too long. She took me to the front.I had already brougt out my documents including receipts of previous missionary journey.
Got there,
Office: can I have youR passport
Me: obliged
Officer: what is in the envelope you are holding?
Me: oh I am pregnant and here to have my baby. These are the receipt of hospitals and doctors fees i paid last time and those are the details of the hospital i will be using this time.
Officer: Oh OK. so you had a baby here last time. how must did you pay in total?
Me: approx 6500.
Officer: just to have a baby, that's a lot.
ME: well we want the best for our health and babies.
Officer: So how much do you have on you right now
Me: 500 dollars. But have my debut card loaded with funds. (Meanwhile he had scanned my fingers while we were talking.)
Officer: ok. He then stamped me in till October 24th and wished me safe delivery.
Didn't take up to 3 minutes. No secondary inspection. Went to the agriculture but bag was not opened.

Couldn't get PTA after all my suffer head waka. One lady at stanbic seemed to have fun telling people "funds are not available for PTA" lol. I don't blame them. They Now act like Gods. People that use to disturb you to open acct. And sell all sorts of product. I blame this senseless CBN monetory policy.

Now gathering up funds gradually. Stanbic is charging 296. Daily withdrawal limit is 150. Have been withdrawing 300 per day with two cards. It's better than buying at 320 in Naija.
Tried form A for Dr. Bills but stanbic refused. Said they only pay to hospital. And hospital is not accepting wire transfer.

It is well my people. God will make providence.

This is a complex situation o.The best person to advise your friend is her doctor honestly.her doctor has to contact/refer her to a doctor and hospital in the US,get medical insurance, get /inform an airline who is willing to fly her to the U.S with her medical issues is another factor to consider, so she has to figure out all these factors.
I pray that the Lord will perfect that which concerns the mother and baby in Jesus name.

Hello friends. Its been a while. Can see loads of testimonies. May our God's name be continually praised.

Pls a quick one. A friend of mine needs answers. She is 22 weeks gone and just had her water break. Doctors have put her on bed rest. But she is worried of the baby's chances of making it and if it's possible to have the baby in the Stares. She has a medical visa already.

Thanks in advance.

Greetings nairaland family! It's been a long while. Tried logging in though a few times but couldn't. Sorry for not replying some Pm that I am just seeing.

Well, I have gone on my missionary journey and returned safely. To the Glory of God and the valuable infos I got here, everything went smoothly but for a few minor hitches orchestrated by the devil but GOD WIN.
Well, I traveled via KLM with Houstom as POE. Flight was long as I had 5 hours layover in schipol but the inflight experience was great.

Travelled with my toddler and the stroller I had with me saved me loads of stress.

POE was brief and smooth. Went to the secondary questioning though. They only asked how much I had on me and Dr.'s correspondence. They then took the doctor's correspondence I tendered and went in for like 2 min. Came back and told me to go but ensure I keep all my receipts cos they want to see thwm when next I come.
Then went for agriculture, told them I had food. Was hoping they will seize my plenty indomie chicken, Palm oil, knorr chicken, cocoyam, dried fish, stock fish etc but to my surprise, I was asked to go after they passed my bag through the scanner.

For accommodation, I ended up being hosted by Dotfak as I couldn't get anyone to share an apartment I wanted to rent. Dotfak is a great guy, did everything he could to make his guest happy. In fact he became a brother. He gave me loads of infos and tips that saved me money and stress as well as help revive my spiritual life. I would recommend him any day.

For birthing, I used Dr FF and Oakbend.
Dr. FF service was ok but not great. Oakbend service was fantastic. Felt like I was a special guest in a five star hotel.
My bills are as follows.
Dr FF
OBgyn fees: 1, 920
Initial visit: 300
Lab: 380 ( He accepted all the test I did cos I had my Nigerian DR refer me to him via email with my test results

For hospital:
Oakbend: 2300
NICS: 335
Brown and associates for mother and baby: 80
Pediatrician visit after discharge: 55

That's it friends. Thanks again and pls don't mind any typo as I am typing in a rush cos my LO and his big brother are a handful.
