PoliticsRe: Oshiomhole Campaigns For Buhari In Edo. Shades Atiku (Photos) by namio10: 7:40pm On Feb 14, 2019
Sent as received:

*WHY DO NIGERIANS FORGET SO QUICKLY?* -

*WHERE ARE THE HERDSMEN?*

Where are the herdsmen?

How did they disappear so suddenly close to the election?

Did someone instruct them to lay down their arms until after the election?

By this time last year, Nigeria was bleeding and for the next nine months, thousands of fellow Nigerians were killed and hundreds of thousands displaced in IDP camps.

Everyone was very angry except president Muhammad Buhari and his Hausa-Fulani leadership of the Security Agencies and Miyeti Allah.

The Security Agencies seemed to have taken sides with the terrorist herdsmen that Lieutenant General Theophilus Danjuma (rtd) had to accuse them of complicity.

No one was arrested or jailed even when they pretended to arrest anyone.

Buhari could not even visit the States where these atrocities took place or the families of the dead to commiserate with them, in most cases he wouldn't say a word.

*The people killed were mainly Christians and of course some Muslims were killed in reprisal attacks.*

The fact is no one should be killed because these are fellow Nigerians.

*Some Hausa-Fulani groups started asking Fulani people outside Nigeria to come and invade our dear country because it was a land given to them by God.*

This prompted the massive social media campaign and awareness for people to register, get their PVC and vote this insensitive government out of power.

Now with the rigging apparatus the APC is putting in place, you votes may not count.

*Presently the herdsmen have gone underground so that Nigerians will forget.* It seems that Nigerians have actually forgotten so quickly.

*The herdsmen are waiting for the elections to be over before resuming their killings of fellow Nigerians. Is it not clear that someone actually instructed them to lay down their arms until after the election?*

These people ordinarily would not lay down their arms on their own without such an instruction.

Does that not show that the herdsmen killing Nigerians were not acting alone.

*It was not a spontaneous action. Where are the Miyeti Allah groups breathing threats against our country calling on Fulani people everywhere to come to Nigeria?*

Have they suddenly changed their minds?

*No, they want Nigerians to forget so quickly, vote their sponsor back to power and the next four years would be worse than the last four.**

This election should be more about security than economy and fighting corruption.

We need to be alive before we can look for food to put on the table.

The dead person is gone and forgotten.

*Investors will not come into an insecure country to invest to give jobs to our youth and improve the economy.*

Nigerians have become hopelessly more divided under Buhari than at any other peaceful time in our history if at all we could call the last four years peaceful.

Why have Nigerians very short memory?

Have Nigerians not been in bondage under this administration?

Has there been any other president in the history of this country as parochial and divisive as *Buhari who sees the Fulani as a superior race and every other tribe as inferior or second class race?*

*Do we really want to continue to live in bondage?*

Nigerians please wake up. Do not forget so quickly. Save yourself, save our generation, save the future of your children and grandchildren, save our country.

*Vote to assure that thousands of our fellow Nigerians who have been massacred gruesomely under this government did not die in vain.*

*Vote out Buhari and save Nigeria.*

Your vote against Buhari is not a vote against APC because any other member of the APC could have been different and a better candidate.

*Make the choice for Nigeria now.*

Saying this without sentiment and biasness...

*Vote wisely!*

PoliticsRe: Avengers Adopt Atiku, Threaten A Crumbled Economy If Election Is Rigged by namio10: 4:35pm On Feb 14, 2019
fergie001:
Militant group, NIGER Delta Avengers, NDA, has warned that if President Muhammadu Buhari rigs his way back to office, it would once again cripple the country’s economy.

The group, which rejected the purported plan to endorse President Buhari by some ex-militant leaders, said Nigeria should be prepared for a perpetual recession if Buhari insists on imposing himself on the people, “as we shall not relent until oil stops to flow in the pipes that braces our feet in our land.”

NDA Spokesperson, self-styled “Brig Gen” Mudoch Agbinibo, in a statement, asserted that, “As a warning and closing note; we want to resound it to members of the International Community, multinational corporations and subsidiaries’ operatives to withdraw their workforce and services from Niger Delta within the period of this elections.”

The group said, “We are in charge of the struggle now and our strike teams are active and gallantly waiting to receive instructions from the high command to cripple the Nigerian Economy again if Buhari is rigged back to office.”

“And this time, it will be a perpetual recession for Nigeria, as we shall not relent until oil stops to flow in the pipes that braces our feet in our land,” it said.

Avengers said the warning to the multinational corporations was for them “not to be casualties to the ongoing securitization and provocation in the Niger Delta by the Nigerian military command.”

However, while it lambasted Boyloaf, Tompolo, Shoot-at-Sight, Ateke and Farah Dagogo for the planned endorsement, Tompolo and Dagogo had Wednesday publicly dissociated themselves from the endorsement.

Describing Buhari as an enemy of the people of Niger Delta, NDA, said, “We are adopting Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as the sole candidate to be voted for by all the people of the Niger Delta as a result of his political ideology, which is in tandem with our agitation for equitable and fair principles of federalism.”

“ The high command is convinced that when elected come February 16Th, 2019, the government of Alhaji ( Dr) Atiku Abubakar will not only restructure Nigeria, but will reverse the inimical ownership rights to natural resources alongside promises that falls within the basis upon which we declared” Operations Red Economy” against the evil government of Nigeria.

“We use this medium to advise Alhaji Abubakar that when elected into office, the cardinal demands of restructuring of Nigeria should kick start within six (6) months to forestall further agitation from the Niger Delta,” it said.

BREAKING: Another Faux Pas! Buhari Hands Over APC Flag To 'Our Governortorial Candidate

Buhari was to hand over the party's flag to the Delta State governorship candidate of the party. However, he said: "I am handing over this flag of honour to our presidential candidate." When the man to his left corrected him, saying "gubernatorial", Buhari responded with "to our senatorial candidate". Again, the man corrected him, saying "gubernatorial". This time, Buhari said: "governortorial candidate".

One day after erroneously claiming at a campaign rally to have ascended power on May 19, 2015, President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday committed another error at a campaign rally.

Speaking on Wednesday at the presidential campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held in Lokoja, capital of Kogi State, Buhari had told the crowd: "I assure you that I am very aware of your appreciation of the efforts for what we were able to deliver since came in 19th of May, 2015."

On Thursday, at the end of his speech after another presidential campaign rally in Warri, Delta State, Buhari was to hand over the party's flag to the Delta State governorship candidate of the party,

However, he said: "I am handing over this flag of honour to our presidential candidate."

When the man to his left corrected him, saying "gubernatorial", Buhari responded with "to our senatorial candidate".

PoliticsRe: Go To Court, Osinbajo Tells Restructuring Advocates by namio10: 10:23am On Jan 17, 2019
iwaeda:
The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on Thursday told proponents of the restructuring of the country to approach the court.

The vice president was of the view that those agitating for restructuring should walk their talks by approaching the court to seek legal solution to their agitation.

Osinbajo, who spoke at the 80th birthday celebration of a former governor of Osun state, Chief Bisi Akande, on the theme, ‘Nigeria: Achieving National Unity Through Peaceful Restructuring.’ faulted the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar who had been promising to restructure Nigeria.

At the event were the National Leader of All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Governors Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo); Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun); Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti); Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo); Gboyega Oyetola (Osun); Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Idiat Adebule; and Senator Biyi Durojaye, among others.

Osinbajo said Atiku and the PDP once opposed restructuring when Tinubu, as the governor of Lagos State, called for it in 1999.

Osinbajo said he was part of the Lagos State’s history between 1999 and 2003 when Tinubu used legal means to achieve creation of more local council development areas in the state.

He said, “The government of Lagos State demonstrated that it is possible to have restructuring and devolution of power by process of litigation. As of 1999 when I first had encounter with the former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, he made it clear to me that one of his objectives for us is to pursue fiscal federalism and devolution of power for our state.

“We spent a lot of time and resources to look into how we could do it. We know that going through the National Assembly is just a waste of time. We then decided to use process of litigation. As a matter of fact, we went to the Supreme Court on 12 different times on what we can describe as restructuring. The Federal Government at that time opposed every move we made.

“Today our dear presidential candidate of the PDP says he is an expert on restructuring, but in those years when we were fighting for restructuring, he opposed every step we took.

“Fortunately for us, we were able to record successes. The achievements are gains of litigation. We can only get it through the court. As a region, if we are talking about restructuring, we should look at it from the point of view of the court.”

Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, who was the keynote speaker, said the recommendations of the APC committee on restructuring were the best for the country.

He said, “APC Committee on true federalism submitted its report last year. The committee recommended that the federation be re-balanced with more powers and responsibilities devolved to the states. The committee also clarified that the federation is a relationship solely between the states and the Federal Government, and that each state should be allowed to operate the system of local government that best suits it.

“Successful restructuring depends also on our national resolve to protect the idea of a common citizenship. The rights guaranteed under the constitution should be enjoyed by every citizen, no matter where they reside, and no matter which part of the country they hail from. A restructuring of mentality and values is a key factor in the success of restructuring of the governance and political structure,” El-Rufai said.

A former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani, who was a discussant at the colloquium, said the APC was not opposed to restructuring.

He explained that the problem the party had was the way the opposition parties presented restructuring.

The Secretary, APC Committee on Restructuring, Senator Olufemi Adetunmbi; and Prof. Adigun Agbaje, who were also discussants aligned with Nnamani’s view on generating innovative strategies that would make restructuring a reality.

Meanwhile, Osinbajo on Wednesday said even the worst critics of President Mohammadu Buhari knew that he was not a thief.

Osinbajo, who spoke at the palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, before proceeding on door-to-door campaign of the APC, said no meaningful development would take place in the society with high level graft.

He said the forthcoming elections should be seen as important by the Yoruba nation and called on the people to support Buhari’s re-election because the President had good plans for the country.

The vice president, who spoke in Yoruba language said, “The forthcoming elections must be seen as important by all Yoruba. It is our election. If they approach you to sell your votes, don’t listen to them.

“Even President Buhari’s worst critics know he is not a thief. They know that he is not corrupt. No nation will develop when corrupt people are in positions of authority.”

Ogunwusi said Osinbajo was representing Yoruba’s interest at the federal level and commended him for providing exemplary leadership.

Osinbajo and his team later visited the Sabo area, before moving to the palace of Ogunsua of Modakeke, Oba Moses Oyediran, where he called on the residents to vote for Buhari.

https://punchng.com/go-to-court-osinbajo-tells-restructuring-advocates/
Which court? The courts can't compel Nigeria to restructure politically. It's a thing for politicians.

Why is a Professor of Law a Vice President to a barely educated president? Osinbajo does not even give a thought to this question.

Osinbajo pretends he didn't know that it's the undue large number of twenty states and subsequent political constituencies created by northern military leaders in the North make him become VP to a Buhari.

Land mass is never used as yardstick to determine where and how many new political units can be created in a region of a country formed by diverse regions.

Not all northerners, Boko haram couldn't foster amongst Hausa and Fulani. Even when they entered Sokoto, they were easily moved out. It might interest you to know that the leader of Boko Haram Muhammad Yusuf always toured Sokoto, Kano and other northern states but it yielded no results as there were little to no members from them. The people who allowed Boko haram were Kanuris, if you've watched Boko Haram attacking and fighting, they neither Hausas nor Fulanis but KANURIS. They give lectures and fight and shouting in Kanuri, they only use Hausa when they want to push their propaganda.
Sokoto and Kano also took up Islamic Sharia Criminal Justice system.

Boko Haram says it's fighting for a country to be governed with Islamic Sharia Criminal Justice system.

From the Kanuris to the Hausa/Fulani, it depends on the method each group adopts to reach the common objective for a country to be governed with Islamic Sharia Criminal Justice system.
