Not all northerners, Boko haram couldn't foster amongst Hausa and Fulani. Even when they entered Sokoto, they were easily moved out. It might interest you to know that the leader of Boko Haram Muhammad Yusuf always toured Sokoto, Kano and other northern states but it yielded no results as there were little to no members from them. The people who allowed Boko haram were Kanuris, if you've watched Boko Haram attacking and fighting, they neither Hausas nor Fulanis but KANURIS. They give lectures and fight and shouting in Kanuri, they only use Hausa when they want to push their propaganda.
i understand you perfectly bro. The reason for that 'all' in that sentence is actually the belief that killing of terrorist or attack on them is mainly an attack on muslims held by some muslims. An example is where two Yoruba men (Muslims) attacked a brits soldier because of Royal army activity in Syria some years back. They killed that soldier for being part of the teams that went to Syria to kill terrorists. And another one is most of the guys used in attacking Kenya by Somali al-shabba are Kenyan muslims. They are being convinced to carry on the fight because they believe their religion is being attacked.

The insult wasn't subtle, it was very direct.

Any person with half a brain can see that.

But not to worry, it wasn't really an insult, it's actually praise to your IQ because it's far lower than that.

Online bravado wouldn't still change it.

I am sure you have a lot of personal struggles which lends to your frustrations so you are bound to speak without thinking and that can be very unhealthy for you well being

These are soldiers and these are quality guns...Nigeria soldiers are political police. we don't have soldiers in Nigeria. I wonder how our so called security personnel will respond if we're in same situation. Police will say we close by 6p.m for security reasons, Army will say no ammunition, airforce will say no fuel for aircraft, Fire service will also say we don't have water, we can't come. chai.

They not ordinary soldiers they are special Force have you seen Nigeria special Force before you know they well equipped

This is an African country. Don't forget that.

When people say that Nigeria is a shithole, morons will ask people to stop comparing Nigeria with the West.

Kudos Kenyans!!!

Sokoto and Kano also took up Islamic Sharia Criminal Justice system.

Boko Haram says it's fighting for a country to be governed with Islamic Sharia Criminal Justice system.

From the Kanuris to the Hausa/Fulani, it depends on the method each group adopts to reach the common objective for a country to be governed with Islamic Sharia Criminal Justice system.

Nna eh, Kenya did not only respond well and prompt, but also with organization, caution, intelligence, tactics, and safety. Kenya security forces are on par with europe, yankee, asia, or any other serious country.

Not just only these feats, just look around the whole environment, very clean, organized and tidy; If na Nigeria now, the dirty, litters, and very dusty environment coupled with the disorganization from the civilians and security forces would have made this a bigger tragedy and it wouldn't have been resolved by now.

When I say Nigeria is a legit slacker dem go think say i just wun bad mouth the place, but see levels wey Kenya just show us now.

It is a fact that Nigerian security forces could not have done up to half the level that this beautiful african security agents just did. Kenya is impressive for real. God bless Kenya, Africa. Una too much.

CCTV showing two of the alleged attackers walking past a barrier towards the hotel wearing dark paramilitary-style gear. Al Shabaab has already claimed responsibility for the carnage.

Rescuers and journalists evacuate an injured man from the scene where explosions and gunshots were heard at the Dusit hotel compound, in Nairobi.

People run as they are evacuated at the scene where explosions and gunshots were heard at the Dusit hotel compound, in Nairobi.

Somali cowards...

Why wear all these gear just to go and die...

Dude if bokoharam should unleash what they what they have done to N.A. in Kenya...they will look for foreign military assistance.

Al shabab n.a. child's play na compared to bokoharam.

From observations, that hotel is a five star hotel and was attacked by only 4 terrorist.
If its in Nigeria, such hotel will have maximum security and those bad guys will taken care of by just the security attached to the hotel

Anyone who claims Nigeria has special forces is nothing but an uninformed ignorant civilian who watches too many movies

Nigerian special forces only exist on paper with different colored uniforms

Nigeria has one of the worst military in Africa ... On the level of Chad and Northern Sudan

That is a fact

99% of Nigerian military personnel all joined to avoid unemployment and starvation

We are insiders and know the facts

Not so for commissioned officers .

To attend NDA you will be well connected..therefore may not be a hungry Nigerian..

For rank and file..yes I agree with you..

This is what we call special forces who are professionals at their jobs. This is really devastating.

My concern is how did this happen and cud it have been possibly prevented. This is not the first time. How can this be stopped and these guys completely degraded.

Nigerian special forces like the Navy SBS use Tavor rifles and by the way, that's not an M16. The weapons you see here are mostly suitable for CQB. For instance, this guy in hood mask below is carrying a L119A2 by Colt Canada + suppressor used mostly by Canadian Forces and UKSF. Well give or take, the AK47 is still a good assault rifle but you need something more when fighting in buildup areas esp in a hostage situation.

First and foremost, never u compare Kenyan forces with that of Nigeria. Kenya has more organised military than Nigeria. Kenya has been in fore front of the war in Somalia.

Secondly, I can see that u maybe a kid or u really don't read much. You are comparing Al shabab with Boko haram? Boy, u must be kidding. Al shabab has been in this game long before Boko haram ever thought of coming to life.. Al shabab has been giving US, UK and France serous problems for decades now. Al shabab trains many Boko haram fighters..

Pls Nigeria shouldn't witness such attack becus it would be worse. Boko haram simply attack markets, they have not acquired the guts to attack highly secured everinments yet.i am hoping they don't becus if they do, Nigeria has not been taught how to manage live terrorist attack. What u are seeing from Kenya is a tactical approach. Few countries know how to manage live terrorist attack because if not well managed, innocent civilians will be killed the more. Read more bro.

These pictures are terrifying mehn
Security people d try, even press men wey get liver d snap people that are running for their lives o as if dem get 2 lives.
May this never be our portion!

They(experienced Wartime press & security forces) use to be extremely afraid too. Overtime, when you face a situation repeatedly, you become desensitized (No matter how dreaded, disgusting or anxiety-inducing ) and you soon become used to it.

There are little fears here and there[since life is still at stake] but their general attitude exudes much calm than the typical person experiencing it for the first time.
