And I am not sure if she can apply for that from the UK since it means a relocation and technically abandoning her studies if she wants to leave during her student year

F1 is a student visa. Why would she apply for a student visa to the US when she is on a student visa in the UK?

If she wants to apply for a visit visa to the US whilst she is a student in the UK she can go ahead, many have done the same and it was granted. Her continued studies are her tie to the UK. She will likely need an introduction letter from the university confirming she is a student.

I want to visit my uncle in the US. He has prepared the invite letter and it states two weeks vacation. Now here are my challenge
1. I don't have a paid Job in Nigeria at the moment my last paid job ended June 2020.

2.No travel experience

3. Although he stated it that he is footing my bills while an there but I might still need a strong statement of account to show that i have something doing here.

4. How do you know the available interview date without paying the 160$ yet as I dont want the money to be tie down.

Milan is absolutely wonderful for shopping. And so beautiful too. Like it even beats London and Paris Imo. And guess what flights are like 400-450$ max on AirItaly from Lagos. Five hour flight for that matter.

Another benefit is you and your mil can do a day trip to nearby cities like geneve. You could also go to Rome/Venice 3-4hours by bus. Tickets to Vienna Austria is always so cheap from Milan. The 1300 you would have spent on ticket alone to NYC would go a long way.

If it’s just shopping, America is not the only option.oil dey your head

but like he said, shopping is not good enough reason.
and don't try to give out a lot of information when a question is asked.
short and simple.

don't give them room to conclude with one question.

what are you going to do in the states = Visit or holiday.. person wey go holiday go still do shopping.

if you gave such a short answer, then they will ask more and hear you out at least.

There are some online sites that will give you access to American retail stores and ship to you.
Na still "american products " try that you get to save on travel cost and even shop.more

Try other countries too like Canada, UK, Australia...if you main intent was for vacation only and not something else.
