@akintollgate always wanted to go but was looking for excuse. He thought people will be calling down to beg him or maybe Peter Obi will come and visit him. Rubbish. Everyone knows that NIGERIA political space is toxic,it didn't start with obidients,we're only pushing back the narrative.
We're civil more than any other political movement in NIGERIA. Obi our leader is civil so we've a template. The previous govt was led by an extremist and this one is led by a bigot. Tell us if @akintollgate can say anything obi did wrong to him, rather than whom he was supporting he's blaming fellow supporters like him for his exit.
You can leave without a fuse and I'll blame anyone who will beg you to come back. @Jack_ng01 can sha, but @n6oflife6 @UchePOkoye etc will never beg anyone to stay. Go eat ya corn abeg
Morris Monye and Chimezie (@Jack_ng01) are key Obidients.
Morris Monye @Morris_Monye
My brother, I have not seen you say anything positive about the movement. It’s always highlighting the negatives as if you are an outsider.
All is not rosey even in APC but their members keep their head up and amplify positive rhetorics.
You are on the advisory council of the Obidient Movement for SW. People are on the ground organizing and coordinating.
I will be in Abuja next week, then Asaba 2 days after then Osun a day after that and I can assure you that the movement is getting stronger in the SW.
Try to touch base with Baba Lanre Fadahunsi and hear from him. He’s from your place. You know him.
If we say we are truly Obidients and not moles then we have to always have a positive outlook and bring solution. This your talk will only give ammunition to the APC.
There are issues everywhere but managing it is key.
When you Morris makes criticizing comment, you are not a Mole. When I “Akin Olaoye” makes a comment, I am a Mole! I am sorry if this the standard, please permanently count me out. When the rhetoric is very toxic and extremely nauseating, as an adult I will speak up. No politician is a messiah, my savior, financier, neither do I dine at their houses or beg for handouts.
I did a lot of great work and I am proud of my accomplishments in 2023. As I have stated multiple times, I dey retirement. I have never attended a SW leadership or Advisory meeting or forum and I won’t be attending any in the future. All the best! Warm Regards….
Akin Olaoye saying he is signing out as an Obidient and some of you are celebrating it on the TL??
At what point did some of us become this shallow?
We used to have a lot of brilliant folks as the main voices of this movement
God I'm in pain 🤦🤦
I make bold to say that nobody that has ever made the stupid "he is a mole" comments against Akin has ever won the Obidient badge like he does in Lagos
Not even Gbadebo Rode Vivour believed and carried this movement on his head like Akin did
Na because he no dey talk 😂
I remember the night Akin was nearly killed in Lagos because he responded to an SOS message from another soldier Kiibati
Did any of you know how he came out of the lion's den?
You know how it feels to harbour resentment over time?
Anyways I know Akin is going nowhere shaaaaa
He is not just an Obidient soldier, he is a Grand Commander of the Army and when the time is right, he will fight from the front once again
Even APC will not trust him because they know he is a true Obidient 😂😂
After all said and done, the Obidient Movement was not necessarily about Peter Obi as an individual, it was more about the new kind of politics our generation deserves
Na why I fit vex for the movement as in my head Na my life I dey fight for
Morris Monye, another person that works directly with Peter Obi, confirms that Akin Olaoye is on the Obidient Council, but Joe Slow on Nairaland says that, "Akin is not an Obidient chieftain". Another one claimed that there is nothing like Obidient Movement
Morris Monye @Morris_Monye

Jack has just tweeted. I bet some of these people here will say that Jack, who was a member of Peter Obi's campaign council, is not an Obidient.
Jack has also confirmed that Akin is an Obidient chieftain. So who knows better, an insider that works directly with Peter Obi or Joe Slow on Nairaland?
MrSly: Very lame at being sensational. You can only press the mumu button of balabluuu druggie supporters. Obedient movement is not a political party and does not have chieftain.
🤣 According to this guy, It's only political parties that have chieftains.
benardtotti: He's a perfect example of what you just posted and what Akin was referring to, they will learn a hard lesson in 2027 ,Obi too has not shown leadership.
That's the sad thing, some of them will prove Akin right. Two posts have already been hidden by the bot.
The SW shift isn’t just about Obidients’ rhetoric, it’s more about APC’s propaganda and voter suppression tactics post-2023. Labour Party gained traction in Lagos because people wanted change. Blaming supporters hides the real issue that politicians are fueling division.
False! LP gained traction in Lagos because people who matter in the grand scheme of local politics gave it oxygen to thrive. Don’t get it twisted!
Trix @Trixtian_
Those same set are now alienating the voting block in the north central with rhetorics i don't even understand. Sometimes I'm shocked how people destroy their own support base with their own hands. Its ridiculous.
Akin Olaoye @akintollgate
It needs to be studied! I think the sudden fame a few of them enjoyed with high engagement from toxic commentary fueled this behavior greatly!
Trix @Trixtian_
Its very sad. And there are people who genuinely want success but this loud few are becoming the reference point for the movement to onlookers.
Akin Olaoye aka Akin Tollgate is a chieftain of the Obidient Movement.
Akin Olaoye @akintollgate
The biggest mistake post 2023 was some loud mouths in the Obidients camp alienating a voting bloc in the SW with toxic rhetoric that fought the APC machinery. Many exploited reckless commentary for engagements not realizing the long term effects. Support in the SW has dissipated
Those same toxic accounts will show up under this tweet to repeat the same bad behaviors we tried correcting for months. People get fatigued with bad behavior and will dissociate from a group that continues to promote the behaviors they are accused of exuding. Correct course!
