Nuzo1: I can’t speak for her but from past stories with Omeruo before he got married, she is very straight.
I just think some of these suspicions are malicious because she decided not to put her private life on display again like she did when she was friends with Omeruo.
There was nothing between her and Omeruo. Stephen Keshi started a tradition of older Super Eagles players looking after the younger ones in Europe and Omeruo, who was in Chelsea, simply acted as a big brother to Asisat, who was in Arsenal (both in London).
Asisat is the godmother of Omeruo's daughter and she is good friends with Omeruo's wife and brother. She still sometimes spends holidays with them.

The Counsellors were presented with their certificate of participation and they were encouraged to see themselves as mandated reporters, if they see something, they should say something and most importantly, do something.
I believe that it was because of the mandatory reporting policy that this case was detected.
Street Sweeper Bags Life Imprisonment For Defiling Teenage Girl
Addme: Justice Abiola Sholadoye of the Ikeja Special Offences and Domestic Vilence Court on Monday arraigned and sentenced a 32-year-old street sweeper, Damilola Omojolowo, to life imprisonment for defiling a 14-year-old girl.
Omojolowo was convicted on one count of defilement of the girl, whom he claimed was his girlfriend.
The offence committed contravened Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State.
According to the prosecution, the convict defiled the victim by having unlawful sexual intercourse with her.
The convict was arraigned and he pleaded guilty to the charges preferred against him.
According to the prosecution counsel, A.R. Abolade, the convict committed the offence between June 2022 and July 2022 at No. 3 Church Street, Ajegunle, Ikorodu Road, Lagos.
The prosecutor also stated that the incident came to light on August 6, 2022, after the convict gave the victim a white tablet to ingest which made her start bleeding after which she was taken to the hospital.
The convict admitted to having unlawful intercourse with the victim, stating that she was his girlfriend.
Justice Soladoye sentenced Imoh after the prosecutor read the facts of the case.
“It is right that a minor cannot consent to any sexual activity. Even if she did, it is of no use.
“He denied giving any tablet to the victim to ingest. It is important to stress that the only charge to this case is that of defilement of the child; so, the issue of the swallowing of the tablet by the child is of no importance.
“Since the offence of defilement is a strict liability offence with a mandatory sentence, the defendant, Damilola Omojolowo, is hereby sentenced to life imprisonment for defilement, contrary to Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
“The defendant, Damilola Omojolowo, male, is to have his name registered in the sex offenders registry as maintained by Lagos State Government.”
Mandatory reporting means that anyone who cares for minors, like teachers and doctors, have a duty to report suspected cases of child abuse/sex abuse to the authorities. Governor Babtunde Fashola signed an executive order on mandatory reporting in 2014.
Governor Fashola Opens Register For Sex Offenders In Lagos State
BWGISTdotCOM: Kudos to Lagos State Governor, Raji Fashola who is the first Nigerian governor to open a sex offenders register. He signed an executive order to provide for compulsory reporting of actual or suspected child abuse and establishment of a sex offenders’ register at the State House, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja, yesterday Dec. 1st. He also identified Alimosho, Kosofe, Agege and Oshodi-Isolo Local Govt as the councils with the highest cases of Sexual and Gender Based Violence crimes in the state...
Below is what Fashola said
“I will like to tell those perpetrating the act in these local governments (Alimosho, Kosofe, Agege and Oshodi-Isolo) to desist now because we would be coming after them. We will combat these crimes so that they do not become big crimes in the state. Also, in order to ensure that criminals are monitored, we have created a crime data register which states everyone who has engaged the criminal justice system of the state, and we have close to a 100, 000 offenders on that register. And very soon, we would start deploying people to the data rooms in the police stations across the state to gather the bio data of offenders including their photographs and others.
“This was why we have asked everyone to register so that before you employ anyone, you will know his track record. And this is the time for everyone especially women to speak against it. This is the time for us to have a local enforcement unit; either we call it state police or whatever name we wish to call it, to protect the women from frequent abuse from the opposite gender. This is the time for women to rise up and challenge employers who sets unimaginable targets for their female employees. These were targets they could not set for men,” he said
The Lagos State Attorney-General Mr Ade Ipaye added that
“We monitoring one hundred and thirteen 113 sexual violence cases currently at the High Court. The Team is working actively to ensure prompt prosecution of these cases. The major aim of the Sex Offenders Monitoring Programme and the Mandated Reporter policy is to reduce repeat cases by providing names and personal details of convicted sex offenders in the State to a central database. The Database will be accessible to individuals and organizations that need information. For example, School proprietors who want to recruit can access this Register as a form of background check.
“The Mandated Reporter policy will make it compulsory for all State School Administrators, Counsellors, Teachers, Social Welfare Officers and any other official of the State Government having any dealings with children to report any suspected or actual child abuse or neglect to the Attorney-General’s office. It is envisaged that the Lagos State Sex Offenders Register will be open and maintained by the Lagos State Ministry of Justice in partnership with the Lagos State Judiciary, the Nigerian Prisons and the Nigerian Police”. It all started when one of the Super Falcons shared a video of a goalkeeper. The goalkeeper was trying to catch the ball, but she ended up catching her opponent's hair.
After that, I noticed that most of the Super Falcons cut their hair and dyed it.
Oshoala had long hair before that video, but she also cut her hair.
Pink isn't really anything special, she has dyed her hair into many colours since that video.
Everybody knows that Asisat Oshoala loves basketball and now that she's in the US, she has the opportunity to watch NBA games live. She has already been to see an NBA game live.
However, this time, it was an official visit. She and Venezuelan superstar teammate, Deyna Castellanos, went to watch fellow San Francisco area club, the Golden State Warriors, as they played against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Chase Centre.

In recent times there has been problems of insecurity in Northern Nigeria and this has affected food production because farmers are afraid to go to the farm. Yet, remember that Governor Ambode increased the size of the rice mill and made it one of the biggest in Africa. So there isn't enough paddy for the mill. This is Governor Sanwo-Olu's solution.
Sanwo-Olu To Request FG To Permit Importation Of Rice Paddy For Imota Rice
Paraman: The Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has stated that he would request the federal government through the Ministry of Agriculture to allow importation of rice paddy for the Imota rice mill to process.
The Governor stated this during a media chat while lamenting the reason for the non-functioning of the Imota rice mill to tackle the skyrocketing food inflation in the state, especially rice.
According to the Governor,
“The challenge that we have is feedstock- that is paddies. We have two aggregators- AFEX and Lagos commodity exchange that we have committed to look for paddy for us”
“One of the things that has happened is that paddy is not easily growable in the Southern part of the country. We have farmland in Ogun, Osun and Oyo states but it cannot meet up with the size and capacity of the mill.
“One of the things that we realized is that up north, there are a few issues around paddy. So for our mill, we are going to be having a conversation with the Minister for Transport and with the federal government. If they can permit us to do a one-off import of paddy for about two vessels. That can take us about 8 to 9 months production of close to 2 million bags of 50kg”
“If we have that exemption, we can use that to encourage the rice farmers to go back to their farms”
Furthermore, on the rice mill, the Governor stated that the state is expecting some paddies from the north through active collaboration with state Governors in that part of the country.
25% discount Sunday market
The Governor as a measure of tackling the food inflation across the state promised to begin a 25% discount on Sunday markets across 48 locations in the state.
The Governor noted beneficiaries of the project will be those spending N25,000 and below on food items who would be given a rebate immediately after purchase.
He recalled that the initiative was first developed during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
What you should know
The Imota rice mill is a 2.8 million 50kg bag capacity rice mill commissioned by President Buhari in January 2023 but has failed to produce to capacity owing to lack of paddies and other issues. The mill was built at an estimated cost of N20 billion.
