PoliticsRe: My Visit To Maidugiru Was A Learning Process & Not For Negotiations - OBJ by nasoeb: 8:34am On Sep 18, 2011
He claimed when he visited the family that he will get back to the family regarding the 100 Million Naira compensation, now he is there "Only to Learn", so he gave FALSE HOPE to the family, this is a reflection of what his governance was when he was the president , LIES and FALSE HOPE.

He claim nobody knows much about the group, yet GEJ claim "WE KNOW THEM ALL" including a former head of state from the northern region , as he claimed

what a shame on this country
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram: Babakura, Spokesman During Obasanjo’s Visit Shot Dead by nasoeb: 9:16pm On Sep 17, 2011
@stiyke

i dont think its Government.

Its obvious that if he had collected that 100 Million, he would have asked his loyalist to back out which will cause misunderstanding within the groups as they obviously have dual purpose , 1. Wrongly believed that they were revenging Yosuf's death and 2. making Nigeria Ungovernable which is the present objective of the boko haram.

This is what the Political boko haram foresaw and had to kill him of so as not to derail their plans

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram: Babakura, Spokesman During Obasanjo’s Visit Shot Dead by nasoeb: 7:31pm On Sep 17, 2011
I wondered why many thought OBJ did well by negotiating.

well for those that have sense only because i know many N/L members are just disgrace to to this nation. Boko haram has never recognized or revenging the death of yosuf's father. Never did they mention revenging his death as their agenda or failure of FG to compensate 100 Million Naira as their grievance , ask yourselves, a group that could pay 30, Million Naira to suicide bombers and could purchase new cars each time for their suicide mission, WHAT THEN IS 100, MILLION for them to demand for.

Common sense should tell you they don't have any objectives but simply to make the country ungovernable. Or tell me why : -
1. They wanted Sharia in 12 states, first
2. they wanted Nigeria to become a sharia country , later
3. After bombing the UN House, they claim they have been marginalized by the Nigerian Government and the International Communities.

Does this seem like a group with legit mission?

Aptly put, The Spokesperson undermined and disrespected the present day boko haram which has long been modified and re-oriented (from what he used to influence) by demanding for 100 Million which they consider an insult.

Secondly, they know if that money is paid to the family, some of the faithfuls may withdraw, which will cause polarization between within the group making those faithful to expose the rest of the members due to the foreseen problem.
PoliticsRe: Your Opinion In Uniting Africa by nasoeb(op): 7:56am On Sep 17, 2011
If i am the President, one of my aim is to establish a true African Confederation even if it doesn't consist of all the African Countries but at least the Southern African Countries such as , Cameroon, Ghana, Benin, Togo, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Gambia, Congo, Congo DR,

Others include , Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Namibia, Bostwana, Mozambique, South Africa, SWAZILAND, Lesotho,

Every Country will provide 1 Million citizens for Military training (Army, Air-Force, Navy) by a Joint Military Efforts of the National Military of all constituting countries.

The various Government will contribute funds to equip this military with latest gadget and will have them stationed in various strategic borders stretching the entire constituting countries, where they will help to beef up external security and reduce illegal passage and as well, Arm Smuggling. those caught as offenders will then be arrested and taken to the local police and have the same case reported to the Head-Quarter because any illegal entering is likely to pass to the next constituting country.

knowing our local police and how corrupt they could be, it is mandatory that every station should compose of maybe 100 - 200 soldiers (For every 100 soldiers within the Nigerian Border Region, it should contain only 5 Nigerian soldiers and 95 Foreign soldiers, so it becomes increasingly difficult for the local Police or Authorities to influence any arrest or decision made by the unit. same apply to national regions and their nationals.)

and any war on each member country will definitely be a war on all.

i can assure you, if we had such, the present situation in Libya where Libyans kill Black Africans and violate our women would not have happened, because with the call of such Union to Libyans to stop the killings of their citizens or face actions from the whole member countries would have passed some fears into them.

My opinion

I am a proud Ijaw man and know where i came from and where i am going.

If you are eager to know more about my clan i can give you the privilege only by confide means. i wont come out to an open forum and dissect all my history to anyone. NO WAY. whats my Dignity if i do such.

I will give you more facts and link and refer you to books to read.

But am far more mature to argue with the likes of Dede over my OWN HISTORY. talking to such figures only belittle me as i would not partake in such blind and filthy foolish argument.

when you stop replying to fools, they will will surely stop being foolish.

i need only reasonable people who are mature and can construct facts maturely

thanks Chinenye

Igbos are found every where.

and i just told you why its very common to see the igbos living freely and easily fitted in Bonny and her sister kingdom Opobo.
1. Because we adopted igbo language as means of communication during the then slave transaction.
2. Because the Ijaw Man is relatively Peace Loving and very difficult to react

Jaja being partially exposed to trade, now saw himself as an Ijaw man and started acting up by the back-up he had from the other chiefs. And when he was asked to stop trade which he secretly does behind the chief. The whole chiefs were force to summon him and banish him. the close proximity shared between him and the other chiefs made 4 other chiefs to join him to a nearby land which is established  today as Opobo.

Thus, BONNY, OPOBO are Ijaw Towns which fully retain its Ibani Language and speak igbo as a Business language which was common as the igbos were major traders with the Bonny People.

You can even get the Nollywood Movie of this. it was done i guess 1999 or there about (funny enough most of those arguing are not up to 10 years)

So you kids arguing, next time dont use Nairaland as a forum to exhibit your naturally inherited stupiidity, because we know you have it.

get your fact and hit up am here to lecture you all kids.

LONG LIVE IJAW NATION !!!

LONG LIVE NIGERIA !!!
PoliticsRe: Ijaws Attack Binis Over Ownership Of Gelegele Land In Edo State by nasoeb: 8:06pm On Sep 16, 2011
The likes of dede, physicsqed, i will advise you go study your history before you come here to talk shitt. if you want to argue, then  do it constructively.

The Ijaws are located mainly at the Riverine region of Nigeria, these made it played a good port during Slavery. tak Taken Bonny as a case study, Bonny is a Beautiful Island located South South of Rivers State. it is compose of over 20 compounds, 5 Major. ( Pepple, Banigo, Hart, Greens, and Jumbo)

During the slave era, The white came to the shores of Bonny and had a deal with the Bonny people oh how to supply them with slaves in return of food and material supply. In light of this, they supplied arms to the indigenes and mobilized them into actions. the rest of the Ijaw clan was considered brothers and they would rather not abduct any Ijaw born, and the easy-come by was the Igbo traders who majority came from Abia, precisely Arochukwu (typical example of these was Jwu-Jwu translated to Jaja by whitemen who couldn't pronounced jwu-jwu), they laid ambush to them, brought them back to Bonny and sold them. But the chiefs had the exclusive rights to selecting who was be been sold to the whitemen or not. So they kept some who seem sick or hard working for their house chores which could be replaced by new comers sooner than later.

Jaja was abducted by men of Banigo Compound and was regarded very obedient and hard working and was after a very a long period accepted to make trade on behalf of the Chief where his name was translated into Jaja. he was doing this trade along side few other chiefs ( Chief Brown, Mack Pepple etc, ) And the female slaves which was taking care of the Ijaw kids weren't understanding Ijaw, so they were communicating by igbo the kids whose parents were hardly home. Thus, the kids grew up being Bi-Lingual (Ijaw and Igbo) thus why you can find handful of Bonny and Opobo speaking Igbo.

@demdem

Lets keep fighting it. If we claim that we know them then we should fish them out, there is absolutely no need negotiating with them. they can not stand Nigerian Army.

If Jonathan is willing to Fight this, he will win it and will have the support of many, its what they put they will get so they should face it

Brothers Why Nigeria

Lets not support this

If we continue on this path, One day Nigeria will either follow the way of the arab world (Protesting against Government and/or stepping down) or we will surely divide, because this is no step of solving this.

Everyone wants Peace but the way you achieve peace matters, You can not just go to water way to build your house because its calm and comforting, surely the water will eat up your house.

I am SO ASHAMED OF YOU ALL SUPPORTING THIS MOVE.

1. This is TERRORIST GROUP with "Confirmed" link to Alqaeda. Negotiating with them simply means Boko Haram You are stronger than Nigeria, please forgive us, you and alqaeda can now stay in Nigeria. Its simply and easy way of saying "Welcome Alqaeda" and we know Alqaeda dont have anything good to offer. This is Alqaeda Linked Terrorist Group we are surrendering to.

2. The President and Security Agencies claim they know them, so why going back to negotiate when you know them? what happened to "we will not spare any Sacred Cow"

3. we know Political boko haram is using religious part of it to destabilize this country, to make it ungovernable NOT because they are revenging the death of Yosuf. so apologising to the family of yosuf which simply dont have say in boko haram anymore seems senseless.

4. Apologizing to a Terrorist Group which demanded that they want Nigeria to become an ISLAMIC NATION. what amount of apology will compensate to that. if they are willing to die for that (Islamizing Nigeria) how long do you think your apology can strain them from coming back to their goal. A group that bombed UN House, not only a war on Nigeria but the International Community WHERE the FG knows THOSE SPONSORING them and decides to negotiate, AHHHH Nigerains Una no get shame

5. boko haram once said they want 12 Northern States be govern by sharia law, later they said they want the whole of Nigeria be govern by sharia law, later they said Nigerian Government and International community has been marginalizing them, it is obvious they dont have any true agenda, Now if you are reasonable enough you would know that negotiating with them is making them legitimate. Even making them seem superior over a sovereign country with well defined borders.

6. why would anyone think another Militant / Terrorist group will not emerge?

7. Do you know Negotiating with them gives any westerner or easterner the right to involve any sort violence and be negotiated with? otherwise it becomes unfair as they cant carry out any offensive on such ethnic groups.

8. The truth is, obj and co have seen that boko haram has no legitimate agenda, does will soon pick on them as their agenda and kill them off, thats why they are initiating this moves, dont be fool it is for their own SAFETY not for people like you who sits here and praise him.

if he is a much of a hero, how many times has he pay visit to the family of ANY of those who lost their lives during all these problems of bombing and shooting

Nigeria is the way it is because of dump people like you who cant see beyond your nose.

If FG accept this moves, WORST will hit NIGERIA

I think something has changed somewhere, either he became ore active (which is rare) or the wife became sexually inactive ( which is common due to being tired after work, taking care of kids and aging).

The question is "HOW WAS SHE SATISFYING HIM BEFORE" that he never complained, so i think for him complaining now, its likely the fault is from the lady
