FMBN Management Responsible for Inferno Destroying Sensitive Documents at Hqrt - NADI

The National President of Nigeria Appropriation Development Initiative (NADI),has challenged the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria(FMBN) Managing Director Ahmed Dangiwa Musa on fire outbreak at its Headquarters on Wednesday, called for critical investigation.

Recalled that the headquarters of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria located in Abuja has been gutted by fire.

A source at bank who pleaded not to be named as he was not officially permitted to speak on the matter told journalists in Abuja,on Thursday, said the fire lasted for two hours before it was put out by 1am.

The official said that as a result of the fire incident, those from the position of Senior Managers and below were asked to go home on Thursday morning until Monday when they will be informed on the new date of their resumption.

However, a statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Thursday,by the president of NADI, Kashim- Bello, said the management is responsible of th fire outbreak that gutted the headquarter of FMBN.

“According to our reports, the fire outbreak had destroyed several sensitive documents especially in the office of the SA to the Managing Director, Arch. Ahmed Dangiwa Musa and extended to the Board Room before the fire was put away.

The curious question is why would such outbreak occur in the most sensitive departments and offices at FMBN Headquarter?

“The fire incident is coming at a time when the bank is awaiting approval from the Ministry of Works to implement a retirement plan in a bid to stay afloat, thereby extending their stay in office.

“Further investigation has also proven that the recent federal government rejection of reappointment of Arch. Ahmed Dangiwa Musa may also be an under-tone influence in the recent outbreak which is aimed at forestalling a structure that will cover his atrocious activities, as he is left with less than one month to step down", he said .

APC National Stakeholders Supporters Forum(APC-NSSF) To Hold Inauguration Meeting In Abuja

A national support group of the ruling All Progressive Congress, popularly known as APC National Stakeholders Supporters Forum(APC-NSSF) has announced its forthcoming 2022 Inauguration Meeting. According to reports, the Inauguration Meeting will hold on the 27th of January 2022 at Candour Villa, 3rd Avenue, Gwarinpa FCT Abuja.

Speaking during a chat with our Correspondent few hours ago in Abuja, the Convener, Hon. Yusuf Ardo noted that the inauguration meeting will witness the inauguration and appointments of Executives, Patrons and B.O.T Members, Discussions, as well as selection of Aspirants and Candidates to be supported ahead of the forthcoming APC National Convention, holding on February 25th 2022.

Other Agenda to be emphasised during the Meeting includes the Engagement of a Working Timetable For Visitation, Resolutions Of Intra-Party Issues, A.O.B and adjournment where necessary. The National Leader of the Forum however used the medium to inform Members of the group to ensure early notification of their presence in the meeting for a concisive organization to avoid inconveniences.

Although the APC National Stakeholders Supporters Forum(APC-NSSF) have continue to initiate prospective strategies that will ensure the sustainable growth and development of the Party through consultations with professional political strategists and development experts. The African Union Economic, Social and Cultural Council (AU-ECOSOCC) has recommended the appointment of Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim, as the Head of Programmes Infrastructure and Estate Development Committee of the Pan African Chamber of Culture, Trade and Investment. AU-ECOSOCC confirmed the recmendation of appointment in a congratulatory letter to Amb. Badamasi on his recent award and honour as "Most Dynamic Social Entrepreneur of the Year" by Papyrus Magazine in the just concluded Distinguished CEO Awards.

According to reports, Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim, the DG of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative had few days ago received a letter of appointment as Member Board of Governing Council of the African School of Diplomacy and International Relations, which was signed by the Registrar, Osawaru Anthony Esq. FASDIR. The recent double honour were premised on his outstanding achievements, pedigree, antecedents and vast experience in areas of international relations and global engagements.

Amb. Badamasi on receiving the appointments and recommendation expressed appreciation with a zeal to remain committed in the vision of ensuring peace and productive relationships amongst nations across the world. It was also confirmed that the AU-ECOSOCC had nominated Amb. Badamasi for an Award title as Pan African Role Model and AU Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Award, holding next year in London.

The Director General of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA), Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa Rtd. OFR has appointed the D.G of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative(GPAEI), Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim as a National Ambassador in the War Against Drug Abuse and Child Trafficking in Nigeria.

During the appointment of Amb. Badamasi as an Ambassador of the Agency in Abuja few hours ago, the DG of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa Rtd. also signed-up as a Life Patron of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative. The NDLEA DG, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa Rtd. decorated Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim as National Ambassador in the War Against Drug Abuse and Child Trafficking at his Abuja Office. In a statement by the DG of GPAEI, he expressed appreciation and thanksgiving to God Almighty for yet another appointment and national recognition.

The D.G of NDLEA received Amb. Badamasi in the company of the Executive Director on Gender GPAEI Lady Sonia Washpam, the Executive Director Special Duties GPAEI, Dr. Kamsi Oby Onyeuche, Ms. Ifunaya Osita, the Organizing Secretary of GPAEI, Mazi Geoge Chidi Francisco, a Global Field Officer of GPAEi and Mr. Martins Igwe, a Field Officer of GPAEI.

As Politicians and key stakeholders jostle for the Presidential and Vice Presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC) ahead of the forthcoming 2023 Presidential Election, a socio-political group called the APC Supporters Forum have commenced campaign for the aspiration of HE Chief Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for President 2023 alongside Chief Ezekiel Afunkoyo whom many have described as most suitable to handle the office of the Vice President of Nigeria, especially with emphasis on his security expertise and influence across the Northeast, which was pragmatically relevant in the victory of APC during the 2015 and 2019 Presidential elections.

The APC Supporters Forum notified Nigerians of their preparedness to flagged-off the massive support for the Tinubu/Afunkoyo 2023 Campaign Train during a press conference in Lagos State. The Chairman of the forum, Comrade Olugbenga Fatai stated that the support for Tinubu and Afunkoyo ahead of the 2023 Presidential elections was premised on their antecedents, zonal qualifications, credibilities, political might, commitments to visionary leadership and age-long development contributions towards the advancement of Nigeria and the party.

APC AMAC CHIARMAN FLAGBEARER HON. MURTALA CALLS FOR VOTES, INVITES PARTY OPPOSITION CAMP TO JOIN HIS CAMPAIGN

As all hand stays on deck ahead of the forthcoming FCT Area Council elections, the APC Flagbearer for AMAC Chairmanship election, Hon. Dr. Murtala Usman Yamarayi Karshi has called for the votes of AMAC residents in the coming February 12th 2022 polls. He made the statement few hours ago in Abuja while reacting to the recent Supreme Court statement restricting INEC on any alteration on the candidacy of Hon. Murtala Usman Yamarayi Karshi who is until the Apex court ruling the only recognised flagbearer for the All Progressive Congress in INEC.

While speaking with our Reporter, he called on opposition factions in the state leadership of AMAC to join the INEC-recognised flagbearer of APC in the AMAC Chairmanship tussle. He stated that their contributions are welcomed in ensuring the victory of Hon. Murtala Karshi as the next AMAC Chairman in the forthcoming area council elections.

He adviced the opposition camp to stop chasing shadows, stressing that it was impossible for Alhassan Gwagwa who has abused the integrity of top members of the Party, including the INEC, to now seek favours from same Persons in his deceitful bid to be imposed as the flagbearer of the party. It is on record that Alhassan Gwagwa made cases against INEC, the National Caretaker Chairman of the Party, Mai Mala Buni, the DSS, IGP, Governors and others who where also members of party primary election committee.

Hon. Murtala further stated that it was vote and not fight, as he called on supporters to present their mandates, thereby pleading with other camps in the party to join the winning team. However, Hon. Murtala remains one of the most credible Candidates in the race for AMAC Chairman, ahead of the area Council elections in 2022. Murtala has maintained an integrity that is uncompromising, a principle that cannot be challenged and a vision to make governance better and more impactful.

AMAC Elections: Supporters Yearn Intervention of National Chairman HE Mai Buni in APC AMAC Chairman Candidacy, Challenges State Party Leadership

Few hours ago, supporters of the duely elected APC Candidate, recognised by INEC for the forthcoming AMAC Chairmanship elections in February 12th 2022, Hon. Murtala Usman Karshi have called on the intervention of the National Caretaker Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress, HE Gov. Mai Mala Buni. The Supporters yearned for justice, fairness and objective leadership, stressing that the state party leadership, under Abdulmalik Usman may have failed in that regard. They made the statement while calling on Gov. Mai Mala Buni to caution the state party leadership on her bias alliance with Alhassan Gwagwa who is falsefully parading himself as flag bearer of the party, even when the case has been filed to the supreme court.

The Support group noted that the State Chairman of the Party, other committees and forums under the state leadership of the party have continue to meet, as they falsefully and illegally parade Alhassan Gwagwa as Candidate, thereby trying to bury the truth and compromise justice, especially with the recent controversial statement of judgement by the court of appeal which was signed by Justice Danlami Zama Senchi, contradicting the audio judgement and also falsefully stated that the FCT Area Council Elections will be held on January 2023, against INEC directive of February 12th 2022.

All of these have continue to create confusion, which is currently generating crisis within the party, especially as the recognised INEC flagbearer Hon. Murtala U. Karshi concludes plan to launch its campaign. According to the statement by the Coalition of Supporters for Hon. Murtala Usman, it stressed that their misguided activities have created confusion and disunity in the party. They however called on party Members and residents of AMAC to vote Hon. Murtala Usman Karshi as AMAC Chairman in the forthcoming area council elections.

The Coalition of Supporters have also challenged the verdict by the Justice of the Court of Appeal stating that it is illegal to have an audio judgement that differs from the released statement of judgement of the same case. They also informed the court that the Area Council Elections will not be conducted on the 23rd of January 2023 as the court claimed, but will be conducted on the 12th of February 2022 according to INEC directive.

Hon. Murtala Usman Karshi had won the primary elections conducted in April 2021 with 113Votes ahead of Alhassan Suleiman Gwagwa who was behind with 110Votes. Murtala has also remained a partisan loyalist and a dedicated member of All Progressive Congress(APC). His antecedents has made him the choice of AMAC residents regardless of any misleading and baseless campaigns to impose a candidate and leader on the party and people respectively.

Although, Alhassan Gwagwa filed a case to the FCT High court claiming a redress on the election outcome, but met a milestone when the FCT high court dismissed the case on the grounds that it lacked merit, which again upheld the victory of Hon. Murtala Karshi as the only APC Candidate which is recognised by INEC for AMAC Chairmanship election. But with the recent verdict of the Court of Appeal, one could easily notice the ongoing problems in the party, as they remain divided ahead of the polls and instead of focusing on a unified strategic approach that will deliver the party to victory, they have continue to wallow in the ongoing intra-party crisis created by the state party leaderhip.

Speaking with a leader of the Coalition, he says, "the State Chairman of the party and other state party forums alongside Alhasssan Gwagwa met immediately after the Court of Appeal Judgement and have since then continue to make several efforts to distabilise the party, by refusing to accept defeat and instead short-change the chances of victory for the party in the forthcoming Area Council elections. However, one thing must be known, the victory of our party at the poll is not negotiable and anyone who is against that is however against the success and growth of our party, which is unacceptable."

APC NATIONAL CHAIRMANSHIP TUSSLE; CHIEFTAIN CANVASS MASSIVE SUPPORT FOR SEN. ALMAKURA AS MOST CREDIBLE CANDIDATE

A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress had few days ago intensified his campaign for the massive support of the Candidacy of Sen. Tanko Almakura in the race for the National Chairman of the Party. Speaking with our Corespondent after the APC National Supporters Forum Meeting which witnessed the presence of party stakeholders from across the country and held in Abuja, Hon. Alh. Yusuf Ardo, a renowned Chieftain of the APC stated emphatically that Sen. Tanko Almakura is most credible candidate, with the required capacity to move the party to fruition if elected as the National Chairman of the Party.

According to Hon. Ardo, the APC National Supporters Forum Meeting was organised by party supporters, stakeholders and party Chieftains with the agenda to discuss better roadmaps for the party especially with emphasis on the forthcoming National Convention where executive leaders of the Party will be elected. He noted that the objective is to canvass support for a credible candidate who can deliver victory for the party in 2023 general elections.

He therefore adviced stakeholder of the party, including Governors, Members of the green and red Chambers of the National Assembly, Ministers and other party leaders, stating that the careful election of party leaders is critical to the success and continued growth of the party. He further noted that after an overall review on the candidacy of all aspiring Candidate for the position of the national chairman of the party, they became convinced on the candidacy of the former Governor of Nasarawa state, Sen. Tanko Almakura who is most deserving and credible based on his antecedents as a state governor, contributions to the growth of the party, age long dedication and commitment to the visionary advancement of the Party.

While emphasising on the credibility of Sen. Tanko Almakura, he noted that the dogged politician had made huge impacts for the party right from when it was CPC, where he contested and won as the only Governor under the Congress for Progressive Change before the merger of ACN, ANPP and CPC that formed the ruling All Progressive Congress. "As a Governor, Sen Almakura performed excellently with several infrastructural achievements, empowerment opportunities, improved security structure and economic revolution in the state which makes him the best and most deserving candidate for the National Chairman of our great party", he says.

In conclusion, he noted that the ongoing campaign to canvass support from party delegates and members of the party will remain accelerated, as they plan on returning to Abuja for a visit to the APC national Secretariate to discuss with executives and members of staff of the party with regards to the need to ensure that Sen. Almakura becomes the next National Chairman of the Party.

AMAC 2022: APC FLAGBEARER HON. MURTALA USMAN KARSHI CALLS FOR UNITY AHEAD OF POLLS

As political parties engage strategic approaches ahead of the forthcoming FCT Area Council Elections, the Flagbearer of All Progressive Congress, Hon. Alh. Murtala Usman Karshi, a dogged politician and grassroot Mobilizer has called on party members to be united, therefore stressing the need for a consensus agenda ahead of the February 12th 2022 Area Council poll.

He made the statement during a media chat with our Correspondent few hours ago while reacting to the scanty rally organised by his opponent, Alhassan Gwagwa who has refused to accept the decision of party members in the primary elections and cooperate with the elected flagbearer of the party.

Hon. Murtala Usman Karshi therefore used the medium to inform all Members of the party, especially those in the camp of his opponents that the victory of the party at poll is more important, and of more priority than the selfish interest of any individual or faction in the party. He noted that disunity always compromise victory and the need to unite every faction of the party ahead of the forthcoming FCT Area Council Elections is sine qua non to the Party's victory.

However, INEC had confirmed and only recognises Hon. Murtala Usman Karshi as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress for AMAC Chairmanship tussle. Although it was challenged by Hon. Sulaiman Alhassan Gwagwa at the FCT High Court, which was dismissed without hearing by Justice Babangida Hassan, stating that the Plaintiffs allegations lacked merit. Not satisfied with the verdict of FCT high court, Alhassan and his cohorts pushed for an appeal which was reversed, as the judge stated clearly that no Winner no vanquish stressing that it was a party affairs that must be reconciled within the party.

This appeal court judgement however informed Alhassan and supporters to a recently conducted scanty rally which made naked his inability and lack of capacity to deliver the party in the forthcoming polls. One could clearly observe that Alhassan's influence and capacity in the party and across the FCT Area Council is incomparable to Hon. Murtala Usman Karshi, whose rally recorded massive supporters of Members of the All Progressive Congress, who are confident in his capacity, leadership ideologies and prospective agenda for the FCT Area council when elected.

DG GPAEI ATTENDS COP26 UN CLIMATE CHANGE CONFERENCE IN GLASGOW UK, RECEIVES AWARD, FREE PLOT OF LAND ON RETURN TO NIGERIA

The Director General of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative(GPAEI), Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim has continue to make immense efforts towards interventional supports for communities across the globe. Recently, Amb. Badamasi and Doris Zakama joined leaders and representatives of Civil Society organizations from across the world to the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference held on the 1st to 12th of November 2021 at Glasgow, United Kingdom.

According to our Reporter, the DG of GPAEI and other CSOs from across the globe organised a 100thousand People Capacity Match for Climate Justice, which was lead by the Steward Team Leader, Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim. The success of the match was greatly supported by Doris Zakama whose efforts was pivotal in the huge achievements of climate justice. During the match they raised awareness on the need for climate justice as well as clamoured for international interventions in climatic challenges faced by nations across the world.

While reacting to his stay in UK for the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference, Amb. Sadiq expressed appreciation to his Host, Mr. Robins Gremah and Mrs. Ann Robins Gremah for their hospitality. He also expressed gratitude to everyone who participated in the 100thousand capacity Match at Glasgow, UK, including the Coalition of COP26 Volunteers for Climate Justice and all Coalition of 26 Teams which created the program. In conclusions he threw accolades to the indigenous CSO Youth groups and CSOs in Scotland. He noted that their contributions were immensely supportive towards the entire achievement made in the campaign for climate justice.

On his return to Nigeria from the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference at Glasgow, United Kingdom, the DG GPAEI was honoured by one of Nigeria's prestigious Award, known as the Distinguished CEO Awards 2021, which is organised by Papyrus Magazine. During the colourful and well attended award ceremony, Amb. Badamasi was honoured with the award of "Dynamic Social Entrepreneur of the Year".

On receiving the award, he expressed appreciation to the Award Organisers and donated a 500sqm plot of land to Papyrus Magazine from the GPAEI Mega city and assured them of his undetterd commitment in social entrepreneurship and empowerment. However, Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim marked his birthday few days after. During his birthday celebration on the 26th of November, 2021 he was gifted a 350sqm land space as a birthday gift by Mr. Romeo Abdulrasheed, the CEO of Savewell Luxury Home in his Estate. He therefore thanked Mr. Romeo for his donation and appreciated the birthday gift overwhelmingly. The DG of GPAEI has continue to receive several congratulatory expressions from friends and family members on his big wins and achievements in the year 2021 which is gradually closing up her curtains to introduce 2022.

One of Nigeria's renowned Banker, Accountant and Businessman, Dr. Gimba Ya'u Kumo, who was the former MD of FMBN has been investitured and inducted as the National Vice President and Deputy Chairman in Council of the Chartered Institute of Administrators of Nigeria. The induction ceremony was held on the 10th of December 2021 at CMD, Ikeja Lagos, few days ago.

Before now, Dr. Gimba Ya'u Kumo has served as Chairman of the Council of Fellows. SOUTH AFRICA, NIGERIA LAUNCH YOUTH LED DIALOGUE DESIGNED BY GPAEI, CYMS IN COLLABORATION AU-ECOSSOC, NYCN

Few days ago in Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria, the South African Government and the Federal Republic of Nigeria launched the Youth Led Dialogue which was adopted by South Africa Government through the then acting South Africa High Commissioner Dr. Bobby Moore in 2019, although was designed in 2018.

The launch was held at the Presidential villa with Nigeria President, HE Muhammadu Buhari, South Africa President, HE Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, the DG of GPAEI, Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim, DG CYMS, Comr. Amb. Obinna Nwaka, National President of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Amb. Sokubi Saraigbe, the Country Rep. African Union ECOSSOC, Tunji Asaolu and leaders of several civil society organizations.

According to reports, the Youth Led Dialogue was championed and designed by Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative under the leadership of Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim, the DG of GPAEI and the Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitisation(CYMS) under the leadership of Comr. Amb. Obinna Nwaka, the DG CYMS in partnership with African Union-ECOSSOC under representation of Tunji Asaolu, the Country Rep. and the National Youth Council of Nigeria under the leadership of Amb. Sokubo Saraigbe, whose support cannot be overemphasized.

Speaking during a reaction after the meeting which introduced the Launch of Youth Led Dialogue, the Director General of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative( GPAEI) noted that the launch explains extensively why the project is eminent to the process of youth sensitisation, enlargement, co-existence and national development.

However, Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Intiative and CYMS in partnership with NYCN and AU-ECOSSOC designed the Youth Led Dialogue to help support campaigns against Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians living in South Africa; promote peaceful co-existence between Nigerians and conduct national/international dialogues on issues concerning youth development for both nations.

Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim is optimistic that the project will go a long way in deciding futuristic developments and better bilateral relationships for both nations. His organizations and other global youth organizations that participated in making the project a fruition have received commendations from notable institutions and personalities across Africa with emphasis on the huge step taken to resolve one of Africa biggest challenges. The AU-ECOSSOC Country Rep. Tunji Asaolu, and the National President of NYCN Amb. Sokubo Saraigbe welcomes the initiative and supported the project to ensure it present success.

NULGE ENUGU UNCOVERS TRUTH ON ACCLAIMED RESIGNATION OF COMMISSIONER OF LANDS

As controversies continue to trail the recent ill-fated resignation of Enugu State Commissioner of Lands and Urban Development Dr. Surv. Victor Chukwuemeka Nnam, the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Enugu state chapter has uncovered the truth in a letter tagged "The Resignation of the Hon. Commisioner of Lands and Urban Development: The Truth of the Matter".

According to reports, the Letter was released and signed by the State President of NULGE, Comrade Kenneth Emeka Ugwueze(JP) on Saturday 30th October 2021. The letter stated that Dr. Surv. Victor Chukwuemeka Nnam resigned because he wanted to avoid being sacked as a result of the unholy activities perpetrated in the Commision with his heads of departments and other senior civil servants who where recently sacked and redeployed.

Although Dr. Surv. Victor Chukwuemeka Nnam had claimed that his resignation was premised on the sack and punishment of his professional Heads of Departments and innocent senior Civil Servants for doing the right thing. However, the Commissioner had been reported to have refused several invitation by the national assembly with regards to several land grabbing cases in the state, which made room for several critical investigations into the activities of the Commission.

Reports have it that the National Union of Local Government Employees Enugu Chapter, alongside several other reputable unions and associations in the state where allotted lands by the previous adminstration of Gov. Barr. Sullivan Iheanacho Chime in 2012, but unfortunately the land grabbing Agent of Dr. Surv. Victor, known as Mr. Hyacinth Ayogu appeared claiming ownership of the lands.

NULGE had therefore stated that it is ridiculous for the Commissioner of Lands to write such a resignation letter when investigation is yet ongoing. The Union has however reinforced its encouragement in the security agencies, stressing that they should be allowed to conclude the ongoing investigation and should not be distracted by some ill-fated resignations.

A renowned and reputable international organization in Nigeria, known as Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative (GPAEI) has presented the Certificate of Ambassadorship to Ms. Ogbuneke Prisca Obianuju. The Certificate was presented to her by Executive Members of the organisation in Abuja few hours ago.

The Certificate of Ambassadorship confirms and certifies Ogbuneke Prisca Obianuju as a Global Peace Ambassador. On receiving the Award, Ogbuneke Prisca Obianuju expressed appreciation to Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative for recognising her commitment in peace advocacy and empowerment.

According to the Director General of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative, Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim, he noted that the certification of Prisca Obianuju was an acknowledgement of her tireless journey towards peace and social reforms in the Society. Amb. Prisca however guaranteed the organization of her undeterred allegiance to the improvement and growth of peace across communities in Nigeria.

In recent times, Amb. Ogbuneke Prisca Obianuju has remained steadfast in her vision to promote social reforms for the sustainability of peace across several societies and communities. Prior to her honourary Certification as a Global Peace Ambassador, Prisca Obianuju worked as a Volunteer and was later appointed as the Assistant Coordinator of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative in Lagos State.

She currently holds a Bachelor's Degree in History and Strategic Studies. Over the years, Prisca has nurtured the passion and interest in foreign affairs, international relations, peace building and conflict resolution. According to our Source, the appointment of Amb. Badamasi as the Nigeria Representative Coordinator of UN-WOHRP amongst other Appointees across the world is in line with her objectives. Reports have confirmed that the Appointment mandates the new Appointees to protect and promote human rights across the world, especially in nations that have adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

In a statement by Amb. Factional PDP Candidate Val Ozigbo Mocked By Party Members At Anado Hall Nnewi Hosting

Today in Anambra state, the factional Candidate of the People's Democratic Party in the just concluded PDP primary election. Valentine Chineto "Val" Ozigbo, a Nigerian politician and business executive has been mocked by Party Members in Ihiala, a Community in Anambra state, during an event, he hosted few hours ago.


The mockery came with the chanting of "Okosisi Orumba and Lion of Africa", a title that belongs solely to Dr. Godwin Maduka. According reports, Party Members had during the occasion responded to Valentine Ozigbo enchantment of PDP with shouts of super delegates, instead of the popular mantra of "power to the people". This was as a result of the sudden adoption of super delegates for the primary election of the People's Democratic Party instead of devoted Members of the Party, which extensively disenfranchised Members of the party.


According to reports, party Members of the People's Democratic Party, are yet unsettled over the deception, fraud and manipulation which Cabals in the party engaged themselves with during the recently held Party Primary election in Awka, Anambra state. Several persons had described party primary elections of PDP as disgraceful, stressing that the party is at the verge of collapse.


The mockery of PDP factional Governorship Candidate was followed by a massive rally of several party delegates for Dr. Godwin Maduka's visionary mandates, even after he was disenfranchised of the party's ticket. CSO Says Garba Shehu, Deputy Chief Of Staff To President Others Involved In False Allegations On Gimba Kumo By ICPC


A Civil Society Organization, popularly known as The Nigeria Vaguard(TNV), has bitterly challenged the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu for engineering the falsehood that led to the inclusion of Dr. Gimba Ya'u Kumo in the list of Wanted Persons by ICPC, as against the ICPC Act 2001.

The National President of "The Nigeria Vanguard" made the statement while reacting to findings in the ICPC which uncovered that the partition it received from the Presidency was signed by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, in the office of the Vice President, and was master minded by the SSA to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, amongst others.

The findings was discovered few hours after Dr. Gimba Ya'u Kumo broke the silence about an alleged accusation by the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission(ICPC) for the misappropriation of $65M. In the letter which was addressed to the Chairman of ICPC, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye and dated May 18, 2021, Kumo stated that it was constitutionaly against the ICPC Act 2001, Section 29, 30, 31, and 32 to declare a person wanted without any initial invitation and fair hearing.

The Nigeria Vanguard have wondered before now why such accusation and declaration was made without fair invitation, until its recent findings both in the President Villa and the ICPC on those behind the false allegations thrown at Gimba without dueful constitutional provisions. Although it is obvious that several independent organizations have continue to go against their own ethics and constitutional backgrounds, especially when it's been sponsored by affluence, even when it is explicitly unconstitutional.

The National President had also earlier condemned the SSA to the President for being deceptive and telling too many lies to Nigerians. He noted that in may 2021, Garba Shehu had publicly shared lies to Nigerians and some of which he later deleted from his Twitter account after when reports confirmed it was untrue. The recently alleged allegations on the misappropriation of National housing funds and diversion of monies by Dr. Gimba Ya'u Kumo and two others have been described as improper. It's has been discovered that the allegations by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), did not properly investigated, as the required dueful process wasn't followed. Constitutionaly, the parties where meant to be invited, with required documents and a fair hearing before any further alleged accusation or publication is released.

According to an investigation by Times Nigeria Journal, we uncovered that Dr. Gimba Ya'u Kumo was not at any time invited or given a fair hearing before the allegations were reportedly published. In an extensive interview with Dr. Gimba Ya'u Kumo, he explicitly and emphatically stated that the recent alleged allegations on the misappropriation of National housing Funds and diversion of sixty five million dollars($65,000 000) is unimaginable, stressing that all his corporate engagements where properly approved with documents to prove.

He further noted that he has not at any point been involved in any form of misappropriation, instead he has continue to manage his little business since after he left public service as the MD of Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria. However, his fleets of businesses have continue to empower younger Nigerians, providing them with opportunities to become frontline Enterpreneurs in boosting the nation's economy.

It is obvious that the recent publication by ICPC is been sponsored by enemies of national progress, which our sources are aware of. The former MD has however adviced perpetrators of such slanderous allegations to engage due process. He however commended the activities of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), as he promises his cooperation in providing documents proving his uninvolvement in the accusation aforementioned in the allegations published few hours ago.

INSECURITY AND KILLINGS: WALLIDIRA FULANI INITIATIVE, COALITION OF CIVIL SOCIETIES HOLD WORLD PRESS CONFERENCE IN ABUJA

Few hours ago, a Fulani Organization popularly known as Wallidira Fulani Initiative for Peace and Orientation in collaboration with Coalition of Civil Societies in Nigeria have called for the dissolution of all regional security agencies in the country. The statement was issued during a world press Conference held in Abuja, where issues of insecurity, banditry, kidnapping and incessant killings were critically discussed.

Speaking during the opening speech, which was presented by Alh. Ardo Yusuf, the National President of Wallidira Fulani Initiative for Peace and Orientation, he noted that the major objective of the World Press Conference and interactive session with Journalists was keenly targeted at providing sustainable solutions to the challenging situations faced in the nation's security structure. He further stressed on the quest for the reform and transformation of Fulani Communities so as to enable the promotion of peace and unity across Nigeria.

The Conference which was themed "State of Insecurity and Extra judicious Killings in Nigeria" witnessed the massive participation of NGOs, CSOs, Human Rights Activists, Media Organizations and other notable persons. Other speakers at the conference called for the immediate halt in the killings of Fulanis and other ethnic nationalities nationwide. They had also called on governments to redouble efforts in eliminating criminal elements that has distracted governance and continuously threatened the peace and unity of our country.

In a concluding speech by an international media Consultant from the United States of America, he stated that Nigerians remains the problem of Nigeria. He says, "hunger is a political strategy, while food is a polical weapon". He therefore blamed the problems of the country on Nigerians, stressing that politics, religion and tribe must be reviewed so as to get things right.

Over the years, Wallidira Fulani Initiative for Peace and Orientation has continue to champion proactive programs and initiatives to support the welfarism of Fulanis and other ethnic groups across Nigeria. Amongst these Personalities is the Director General of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative (GPAEI), Amb. Badamasi Ibrahim Sadiq. In a recent spotlight on his encouraging activities targeted at enhancing, supporting and promoting the empowerment of young persons across the world, we discovered several other impressive engagements, which he has been recently involved in.


Before the establishment of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative(GPAEI) in 2019, Amb Badamasi had earlier founded a youth development organisation called Youth Initiative for Diversity in Nigeria(YIDIN). According to him the both agencies have continue to create, nurture and cultivate the culture of tolerance, inclusiveness, humanitarian love and social peacebuilding around the world, through intervention channels like peace summits in educational institutions, policymakers, interactive sessions with youth and civil society groups, community stakeholders, diplomats, Heads of Government, Ambassadors, influential community groups, religious scholars, NGOs, and community-based organizations around the world.


Speaking during an exclusive interview with Amb. Badamasi Sadiq, he stated that his Inspiration was ignited by the vision that all people, regardless of tribe, nationality, race, religion, or culture are members of one family under Almighty God who created Heaven and Earth. However, he has remained undeterred from his visionary mandates as himself and his Organization has continue to receive global recognition in several nations across the world.


In a background review on his early life, we realised that the vibrant and proactive Humanitarian, Enterpreneur and Philanthropist may have made several outstanding feats in the cause of building the fervent career foundation which he stands firmly upon today. Notably, Ambassador Badamasi Sadiq was born in Jos Plateau State into the family of Alhaji Badamasi. He had attended the Gospel Tenderfut Private Primary School and Naraguta Grammar Secondary School both in Jos Plateau State Nigeria. He then proceeded to Federal Polytechnic Bauchi where he obtained his OND in Business Administration and Management. In 2003, he received an appointment letter as a Promotional Manager in Unilever PLC. Later in 2004 he worked with the Federal Mortgage Bank in Abuja. Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim in 2006 proceeded to the International British Institute in Cairo, Egypt, where he studied computer studies. He later travelled to the United Kingdom for a Short Course on Voltage Optimization Device from the University of Sheffield, where he got a franchise in West Africa.


He has travelled extensively throughout the world for several international peace work and has earned myriads of awards, recognition and honour for his significant contributions and development initiatives. He is currently the managing Director of Salamsco Nigeria Limited, Salamsco Farms and Salamsco Homes. However, his distinguished capacity has also earned him a mammoth of certifications both in Nigeria and across the World.

Nigeria Actress Sotayo Sobola Receives Gpaei Actress of The Year, Nominated For Africa Icon Awards

In Nigeria, a famous multi-talented Nigerian Actress, Tayo Sobola, popularly known as "Sotayo Gaga", has been honoured with the Award of "Global Peace Actress of the Year 2020". The prestigious peace award was presented to Amb. Tayo Sobola by HRM(Dr.) Ahmed Abdullahi Hassan, the Emir of Uke Yakanaje Emirate, who is a Life Patron of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative(GPAEI).

During the visit to the Emir of Uke Yakanaje Emirate at his palace in Uke Karu LGA in Nasarawa State, Amb Tayo was also conferred with a Chieftaincy Title as "Sarauniya Uke(Queen Mother of Uke)" by HRM(Dr.) Ahmed Abdullahi Hassan. Amb. Tayo however expressed overwhelming gratitude to the Emir of Uke for considering her worthy for such a distinguished Title.

She also appreciated Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative(GPAEI) for recognising her with the Merit Award of 2020 "Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative Actress of Year". She was also few weeks ago honoured with Sodex Records Merit Award and has been nominated for the prestigious Africa Icon Awards, which is one of Africa's biggest award event, holding on the 24th of July 2021 in Accra Ghana. According to reports Actress Tayo was nominated for both awards by the DG of GPAEI, Amb Badamasi Sadiq.

In a brief discussion with our Reporter, the DG of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative(GPAEI) Amb. Badamasi Sadiq, noted that the recognition and honours on Tayo Sobola was premised on her outstanding performance in the area of promoting and advocating for peace.

Amb Badamasi further noted that his choice on her nomination for both Sodex Records awards and the forthcoming Africa Icon Awards was as a result her humility, kind-heartedness, goodwill and most importantly their resourceful relationship over the years. He therefore congratulated Amb. Tayo Sobola and encouraged her to remain devoted and committed to the visionary engagements of promoting sustainable peace within Nigeria and across the globe.

TARABA APC CHIEFTAIN EZEKIEL IRIMIYA REVALIDATES MEMBERSHIP, HAILS FG ON INFRASTRUCTURE DEV., AGRICULTURE, INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS


A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State, Chief Ezekiel Irimiya Afunkoyo says federal government has made significant progress in areas of infrastructure development, farming, international relations and global influence. He made the statement while speaking with newsmen few minutes after he revalidated his Membership with APC at Avyi Ward, Kofar Gadu, in Wukari local government area, Taraba State.

Chief Irimiya stated that the landmark achievements of the ruling All Progressive Congress-APC cannot be overemphasized, stressing that the challenges it's faced with today, has only helped to make the party stronger and better. The dogged politician and grassroot Leader expressed certainty in the continuous progress and development of the party, both at state and federal levels.

In his statement, he says, "this government has done well in terms of human capital development and also in the agricultural sector, as the party have helped Nigerians to again turn their attention to farming which was neglected and seen as a poor man's business". He reiterated that the APC-led administration has faired well in terms of international relations, especially with the recent global appointment and election of Nigerians into significant public offices actoss the world.

He further noted that the revalidation of his Membership with the ruling All Progressive Congress-APC was in view of his undaunted commitments to continuously support the progress and development of APC at all levels, with emphaisis on his capacity and grassroot influence. Chief Ezekiel is the current Board Chairman of Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital-NAUTH. According to reports, several socio-political Institutions, including youth groups, women associations and other grassroot Organizations joined Chief Ezekiel Irimiya to the venue of his Membership revalidation, with a view to support his political vision.

Over the years, Chief Ezekiel Irimiya Afunkoyo has continue to initiate, encourage, support and sponsor several political activities to ensure the smooth advancement of APC before it became the ruling party hitherto. He has equally received numerous awards, honours and recognitions for his excellent input towards promoting sustainability of the party and good governance in Nigeria.

The former Governor of Kano state, former Senator representing Kano Central Senatorial District and former Minister of Defense, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, had few hours ago received in person, the Former Managing Director of Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria and business Mogul, Dr. Gimba Ya'u Kumo OON, in Abuja.

During the Condolence visit to Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the duo discussed other prospective and potential ways to promote sustainable development and empowerment opportunities that will in-turn attract both local and international investors to boost economic development in Kano state and across Nigeria.

Speaking exclusively with StatePress Correspondent few minutes after his condolence visit to the charismatic Populist, Dr. Gimba Ya'u Kumo commended the outstanding leadership and administrative performance of Sen. Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, especially in areas of development initiatives in Kano state. He therefore noted that the two times Governor of kano state remains vibrant, intellectually capable and having a vast sense of leadership experience to serve Nigeria in any other capacity in order to move the Nation forward.

Dr. Gimba conclusively noted that the feats, efforts and consolidated achievements of HE Sen. Dr. Kwankwaso in Kano state will remain significantly indelible in the sands of time, as he expressed gratitude for the warm reception he received from Senator Kwankwaso.
