He didn't 'co Atkinson has never liked Rooney.
The man wouldn't have hesitated to show him a second yellow if Rooney had opened his mouth.
Why risk that?

@No2A/ Dclique
Adjust your sights a little bit more.  .  .look very closely before you rush to jump to conclusions.
That's what makes you not sound empty when you speak.
That still doesn't explain why he did not at least put his hands on his head or mouth . .
At least show some surprise . .

Last time I checked, you don't get a yellow for that . . do you?

A dive is when a player goes down when there was zero contact.
Exaggerating a fall when there was contact to make it look worse than it actually is(à la Drogba) is NOT a dive.

In Rooney's case, there was contact. Go watch the replay in extreme slow mo.
He shoulda gotten a warning.
Knowing who Rooney is. . He didn't even contest it.
Now isn't that a tad unusual?

Surprise goal.

Fletcher messed up. Young got past him so easily. embarassed
Can't really blame him, being a natural midfielder and all.

Come on, United.
Chac makes us believe there's nothing he can't do.

CA doesn't seem to know how to bring in the subs.
Lampard has no reason playing, Joe Cole is unfit. I'll pardon Terry. Cech has no capable replacement yet.
I don't believe that.
Considering the diamond, what changes would you suggest he should have made?

It is not adequate as well to request that players be dropped without an indication of who should take their places. .
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Man United Vs Aston Villa [0 - 1] On Sat 12th Dec by nateevs(m): 6:41pm On Dec 12, 2009

I hate that mentality bro, "he is the best and should not be dropped even if he consistently plays poo", In a nutshell JT and Cech

are bigger than the club, have you ever come across the word "competition" and the role it plays in the team.
It's not a mentality bro . . It's logic.
If you put Hilario in . . It's only a matter of minutes before you start asking for Cech.

Until we buy a keeper close to the standard of Cech, you can't bench him if you want a winning side.

I am not asking us not to bench Terry, I am saying I don't see any mistake he's made to justify his being dropped.

It's building up to be a fantastic weekend - Sheesi drawing, Citeh back to their drawing ways, Spurs beaten at home by the worst team in the division?  cheesy

Let's see what happens - Carlo's had it very easy so far - his team winning at grin will. . . he must even feel the premiership is an easy league to win. This is his first 'mini-crisis' and now he needs to sort it out.

However, he will NOT bench Cech and Terry, that I'm sure of. He'll scream and bellow but not kick people off.
To be honest I do see the reason to bench them. . I don't.
Only because we don't have any on better. .

We will sort it out.
We need to start to pray for a dip in form of ManU now. .

Graham Taylor. . . .

"I cannot understand whats happening on the training ground. Chelsea are holding their line too high from set-pieces. All that happens is opposition players start from an offside position, then come back onside, easily losing their markers. Why are Chelsea holding their line so high from set-pieces?"
If I remember well, we've been defending like that for a better part of the season.
The goals we conceded lately have been largely to due Cech and loss of concentration in defence.

Of all the set-pieces from which we've conceded, only once or there about has a Chelsea player not touched the ball first.
The three times today for instance. .

Lets see innit. . . .
The only thing I fear for loss of belief . .
At least we still score goals. .
We just need to sort our defence out. .

Saying Carllotti is Scolari is rubbish in my opinion.

We've dipped in form suddenly and we need to sort that out.

We have January to bring a few bodies in. We need a player for the top of the diamond and one more creative player in midfield.

We'll be back to our very best.
