@Nateevs
Better naive than ignorant amid a mass of stale/hopeful knowledge.

I didn't say you can't climb Everest with these same players.  .  .I said not with this defense and this Cech.
By that, I mean with them being in the current shambolic form.

Breathe and understand before flying off at a tangent. grin
So what . . Defenders and Goalie are not players?
You must have a lot you want to tell us. . .

Secondly, I ask why not. .
This time last year we had dropped about 12pts at home from guess what . . set-pieces. .
With who ? . . Ivanovic, Bosingwa, Terry, Carvalho, Alex, Cole and guess who PETR CECH. .

A change in tactics and this same lot was keeping clean sheets all the way to the end of the season.
Including a supoosedly high scoring Barca side. . .

Not a player more not one less. .

So what informs your "knowledge" that Chelsea can't sustain a run with the same players. .
You'll do better side-watching honestly. . .

Cristalz:
Glad to be your Jesus. grin

Sustain that run.  .  .not with this defense and this Cech, you won't.
Your naivety is abysmal. . .
This time last year y'all thought Chelsea was doomed. . .

A change of tactics, manager, with the same players Chelsea were flying till the end and now you think we can't make a difference with the same players?

Come off it ma!

I told you, you are only hoping!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Man United Vs Aston Villa [0 - 1] On Sat 12th Dec by nateevs(m): 9:01pm On Dec 12, 2009
Cristalz:
With 22 or so more games to go, you are declaring ''we don't lose at home''. Okay.
Let's hope you don't eat your words.

As for your defending, you lost to Blackburn. Lost to City. Conceded 3 goals against wobbly Everton that could easily have been avoided.
You think that's a ''blip''? I don't. I think it's a problem. grin

As for the scoring part, yeah you're right. But if you concede every minute after you score, where does that leave you?
Draws and losses, that's where.
Look, we have played better quality teams than these - ManU, Liverpool and Arsenal.
And we didn't concede that many goals. Actually we didn't concede any.
You know you are deceiving yourself if you think it will continue.

It's more about hope that fact.
What has losing at HOME got to do with winning the title.
United have lost at home in the last 3 seasons and still won the big prize.

A loss at home/away is 3 points. A loss at home is not 10 points.
You dropped 3 pts. . . That's all that matters to me honestly. .
This prevents us from falling apart totally. . .
This gives us hope that things are still on track.

We have Portsmouth, West Ham, Birmingham, Fulham, Hull, Sunderland, Birmingham, Burnley in that order . .

We will have a run with these games. .
By then January will be here and we are buying heavily.

This time around we just might sustain that run. .

Shambolic defending today.

Against City, total cluelessness plus a massive overwhelming. grin
We didn't lose at home . . We don't.
Shambolic defending? . . . It's ablip and you know it . . when we sort it out; which we will, we will be flying. .

The difference between us and you is that we are scoring.

The league has been thrown wide open.
If the KG boyz win tomorrow, they'd be 6pts  behind with a game in hand.

It's not even Christmas yet.
Imagine what will happen at that crazy period.

IMO, players need to be told to up their game.
It's no crime to drop your 'star' players, that's sends a message to them.

How can we concede 3 goals from set pieces at the same range?
It's the duty of the manager to ensure such blunders don't occur twice not to talk of trice.

BTW, it's not my place to be suggesting whom to play or bring in.
I'm a critic not a coach. That's what CA is paid millions to do.

If he gets it right, we praise him, if he doesn't, we criticize him.
But from the point of view of a fan you must have an idea of who to bring in. .
If you stall on what ideas to bring in, probably the Manager is having similar difficulties . .

And this is what I like fans to take note . .

Good observation. Now that was a foul. Why didn't Atkinson blow his whistle?
Just goes to show the man has got a low tolerance level for Rooney. It didn't start today.
Rooney has never been known to be a diver . .
I struggle to understand what you mean by "tolerance levels". .

If he showed Rooney a card for descent, then you have a point. . For diving, you don't.

And I am quite surprised anyone hasn't taken you on this contact thing. . there was no contact dear.

Nope.  .  .Rooney was cautioned for attempting to deceive the ref by exaggerating the weight of the contact/his fall.
And I think the card wasn't necessary.
Atkinson could've done without it.
You probably are the only one arguing for this. .
Isn't it clear you are losing it?
