Nateevs huh

Are you smoking weed huh which EPL top 3 huh Apart from the CL semis against the Mancs, we always give them a game and have beaten them on a consistent basis. or is it Liverpool you are talking about huh the only club we seem to have this current Voodoo curse with is Chelsea tongue

So which EPL top 3 are you on about, or are you adding Spurs to that list huh I don't get this, If we beat Stoke and win our game in hand, and Chelsea do not do the business against Citeh, things will get back to normal, so you guys can laugh it up all you want grin When Chelsea go through their dip in form, WE WILL ALL BE HERE!!

AFTERALL DEM KNOCK BOTH OF US OUT OF THE MILK CUP!! So guess we both have only 3 cups to look out for (Or una get extra one grin )

cool GOONER 89
Too many variables. . . If Arsenal do this and if Chelsea do that. . It's normal for opposing fans to wish other teams bad. How about if you draw with Stoke and draw against Bolton (your match in hand). . .and Chelsea don't drop points till new year. . .  What happens then?

That is also a possible scenario. . which could put you a massive 15 points behind Chelsea.

Arsenal fans always think about the best case scenario. . never the worst. . . Two weeks ago, you were talking about beating Chelsea and winning your match in hand. . . Since then you've dropped 6pts. . . what's to say you can't drop more.

I won't tell you Chelsea won't drop points. . . I would be silly to say that. . .However, I will also be silly to say Arsenal will amass all points when Chelsea drop points. Aston Villa, Liverpool and Stoke are matches you are likely to drop points. . . What if they all end in losses. . ? 9 more pts behind. .

I think you should concentrate on how better you can be rather than if/when Chelsea will drop points.

I will also advice you not to bank on Chelsea dipping in form . . because it may never happen. We are preparing for an impending summer transfer ban and are going out in Jan to spend. . . So all this ACN hope may be false after all. There will be at least 2 top players in Jan and we have kids stepping up to do a good job when we need them.

Above all, you know we can ditch the diamond any time we want and call on the "brute force" if we have to . . . Win ugly . . unlike y'all keep passing even when it's obvious it's no working.

Let's watch the weeks unfold bro.

@Nateevs, you got everything right but. . .nah, I'm not happy with Zhirkov. I rate him very high but he made some costly mistakes yesterday. . .and I noticed he made similar mistakes while playing for his country.

Maybe it just me sha. . .

Kalou? I don't know what to say about him. One moment he is brilliant. . .the next he is just . . .just. . .just there!
Zhirkov never played for 90mins until Russia's match against Slovenia some weeks past.
He's lost the sharpness. . . he will pick up with time.
Also, the LB position is not his first position. Mistake will occur every now and again.

Kalou? . . The fella requires a whole page. A dictionary couldn't explain the word "inconsistency" as best as Kalou. .
Me thinks Kalou will be moved on in the summer. Unfortunately he's just signed a contract extension which could just render what I said useless.

He won't be a big part of Chelsea next season. If Di Santo and DS have the opportunities Kalou has had, they will be miles off him.

I also think Ballack, Belletti and Deco may be having their last seasons with us.

Nah broda and also Yes - reasons

When we play the EPL teams in Europe the chances would rather be 50-50 and if we step up our game. . .we carry the day. . .when the EPL teams play themselves in Europe,i can't bet on either of them!!! that was ma point.
I remember a certain CL semi-final against a team called Man United. The result depicts nothing of a 50-50 expectation; neither does Arsenal's current form against the EPL top 3.

I struggling grin . . Can you help ?  undecided undecided

Truth be told, Arsenal may be struggling in the Local scene, but in Europe against any team aside the EPL clubs, chances are that Arsenal has 99.999% chance of qualification! True that!

Just finished watching the match and I can't help but feel sorry for the lads.
Carllotti felt he could turn thing around with a 3-player sub. It worked for a while but then lack of concentration caused us to concede a second time. Then Kalou got injured in the 71st minute. It became a mountain to climb from then on.

Blackburn were dangerous at set-pieces from the first whistle. We had to be at our best to stop them from scoring. My thoughts were there was a tactical error from the beginning by Carllotti - Ferreira in central defence. It was just a mismatch with the Blackburn strikers. Blackburn went ahead and had the positive edge with mistake upon mistake by the Chelsea defence. With Belletti at right bcak, the right side of defence was a free pass for the opposition and Kalinic must have been very thankful to Carllotti.

Good thing Carllotti could see that hence the introduction of Bruma into CD. . Taller, more physically imposing and technically-aware; above all a natural central defender. Belletti wwent off and Paolo was pushed to the right.

Joe Cole and Deco in midfield is a combo that won't work. Carllotti was right taking them off. Drogba and Kakuta suddenly brought life to the game; equalizing and then going ahead. We would have won the game had we the player we were missing.

Every player put in a shift. Drogba had to play 2 roles most times. Kakuta played one role and a half. Mikel was absolutely fantastic. Zhirkov - is some player.

I could not fault anyone. Not anyone . . I tired hard to blame it on someone. The only thing I could find was that if Carllotti had delayed one sub. . He would have taken out Kalou and Joe would have remained. Except that, nothing else.

Bruma and Kakuta are just ready. They say the best time to know if a youngster can fit is under first team pressure. This is the first time they played when we were a goal down and had to up our game for a come back. This time around they did it with a man down. I really must commend their efforts.

We can't win every competition. We must move on and concentrate on the premiership. ManCity on the weekend is 3 pts we can't mess with. WE have to win it.

In the future we will be seeing our youngsters given some minutes. Kakuta, Bruma, Hutch, Matic, Borini, DS, I believe at some point in time will make it into the first team. 6 players. Not bad for the academy.

@Edo

You had a point a view. .
Which in my own opinion was the right side. .
Suddenly HNIC comes into the picture . . and poof! you change just like that.

It's clear you didn't verify that yet you believe every bit.
If you don't stand for something you'll fall anything.

@HNIC. .

How convenient it is to try to find a way out for Mr Wenger.
Suddenly there's no rule for shaking hands. .
Is there a rule that says Managers can't express their displeasure ?

An incident happened with Hughes stopping the ball and trying to give it back to the game and then Mr Wenger was impeding . . a few words were thrown here and there and that should be it.
Do you know how many things players say to themselves on the pitch ? . .Defenders whispering into attackers' ears. They still shake hands and exchange jerseys after.

How could anyone say Hughes hurled abuses at someone for "90minutes". . Isn't that a tad ridiculous?

Now you think Wenger was right. Unbelievable for anyone to take that stand.

Let me give you another bullsh.it of Wenger's that needs backing-up. He was asked after the game why he didn't shake hands with Hughes and he said. .

"I shake hands with whom I want to" . . .

When asked why his players conceded so many yellow cards, he said.

Referees always book Arsenal more than other teams. Refs go out to book our players.

Now go ahead and back him up.
