BlueRayDick: The original post is about a professional footballer shining in a match involving amateur footballers.
Minolas shined in that match because he played as professional footballer (with over a decade football experience under his belt) VS Amateur footballers.
A person who has years of experience as a professional will almost always perform better on the job Vs a newbie who is just learning the profession. You missed the premise. The initial post was about someone saying they were better than Jackson. OP then puts up a screenshot of the Manolas event for context. |

Lana1: He can be hungover and still run rings round all of them.
I remember few seasons ago when Osimehn was in Nigeria during the pre-season break. He played a lot with some of these twitter guys who are his friends and washed all of them I used to play football with a bunch of guys every weekend. Fun football and all. I guess in our minds, we could replicate all that action in front PL defenders. Some of the guys used to boast they were better than some PL players. One morning, a guy shows up to our local park. Guy had just been dropped by Brentford for "not being good enough". This was like 2011 or 2012. Brentford were still in League one at the time I remember. I had never seen a thing like that in my life. Nobody could touch him. He had the alertness of a ghost. Breezed past everyone like we were static cones. It was like watching Ronaldo play and this guy had not even pulled out of gear 2. You could tell he was not even being ultra- competitive with us. He had several levels more. Yet, he was considered not good enough for a league one side. After that day, nobody talked nonsense again about being better any PL footballer. |

BlueRayDick: Professional football is just like every other profession.
For example, a very brilliant student can graduate with a first-class degree in engineering today, but he will always have a whole lot to learn from an engineer who graduated with 2:2 and has been practicing for over 15 years. Have I missed something? I don't get how this analogy relates to the OP's post. Someone thinks they are better than a PL pro footballer when they've never even played Amateurfootball. If they have never played at that level, they are most likely not. |

andrewbaba44: Lmao
Professional football no be moi moi o ,the difference is so clear of street football
Manolas might even be lacking match fitness ,but see Wetin e do for here People think professional football is beans because they have access to DSTV. Even the slowest footballers will shock people with the physical alertness and mental agility they have. |

I am deeply impressed by the giant strides taken by Maresca. He's turned us into a seriously competitive team in only 3 months.
The overall confidence is on the rise, to a point where a few of us are thinking that with a few better decision- making, we could have drawn the game. And that's strictly on performance-based analysis, not luck.
Imagine what we could be in the second half of the season.
I just need Lavia and James fit. |

Salah isn't that technical, one on one against him shouldn't be too difficult. Let's calm down. It was a mistake. |
