I Will advise you go to TLS yourself and complain. i did Biometrics since 27th August at TLS VI Lagos, up till now, i have not received any mail since then. I have sent paid mail to UKVI too.

No cause for alarm. He will get his Visa. UKVI process, nobody knows and your applications might not be processed from same home office.

6th week after Biometrics and still counting ( Friday 27th of August). Whatever process UKVI is using to issue Visa needs to be studied in the University.

Good afternoon guys, pls i need yur take on this issue. A frend of mine is till yet to have his visa, status shows still at DMC, we applied together on the 17th of Sept. (Priority and WalkIn). We both got a Non Straightforward mail on the 21st of Sept. I got a mail to pick my passport on 4th October. Bt apart from the non straightforward mail we both got on the 21st, he got another one. He was called from Pretoria on the 30th of Sept. Till now no show, was at TLS and was told no decision made yet on his visa. Sent a paid mail on the 5th and havent gotten any response too. Pls what could have been delaying the decision. He has a refusal with Canada and it was stated in his application. Thanks

One thing everyone has learnt from ukvi is whatever works for Mr A may not work for Mr B. Even if I Said it’s a 90-10, that 10 percent sef you should go and give it a trial!!! Unless you are in a state outside Lagos.

its obvious your application has been transfered to VAC. I learned nigeria is experiencing visa hold ups.

That my application is being considered and awaiting decision. When i did a paid call, they say repeatedly no decision yet. no decision yet. i even tried to probe further, she was just repeating no decision yet. na so i cut the call. they charge me 1.67 pounds

we are in the same situation. Please send paid mail. i got a response from them yesterday. I am sure you did yours at TLS VI. I did mine as well 27th August. Still no show till date. I went to TSL VI lagos as well. They noted down my GWF number for follow up. today makes it the 6th week.

I applied 24th of August and did biometrics on the same day.

It has been 32 working days now and nothing.

Please advice on what can be done?

Please becareful with this option. I used the legal guardian option in 2011 with all legal document i knew but was denied visa despite having 75% scholarship. They say their was not letter from Federal government or federal authority to show that the person has adopted me.

Thank you so much… I am an orphan so my uncle has been my sponsor so how do I use his bank statement and prove that he is my legal guardian because I saw a clause from page 1 that the person must have been my legal guardian since I was below 18 years now I am 29 years

May we not be unfortunate my Brother. I don't have any option than to laugh it out. Its just funny . Despite having full expense paid scholarship from a body known to UKVI. Some are getting Visa within a week. I never thought its like this when i saw the excitement in people when they get their visa.

This experience is funny walahi. . This life no balance. I have a different perspective about life right now.

At last, we will be alright. That is sure. Do not worry.
