It is just clear ignorance for someone to ask for cost per kilometer. A professional Engineer knows this and that's why Umahi insisted that you can't just based on cost per kilometer. Rufai's intention is to find every means to fault anything from the government. It's like saying to someone to provide the cost per square meter for constructing a building in Lekki and wants to use the cost per square meter for the same building in a dry land in mowe to judge the situation. Rufai's intention is never a good one.

Yes,when the matter goes to court,the traders would most likely lose because land planning approvals may not have been got or some areas deficit.
It's like the average policeman or case in Nigeria:he/she wants to either extort you financially or get you imprisoned for selfish motives or inducement from another party;there would definitely be a matter or document or act he/she can criminally fault a Nigerian for.Does the arrest or in this case demolitions make it right?

Why can't the certain group do the rightful thing which is a strong legal basis to sue the government and claim damages? NO, they won't. They will all cry foul play like you and the man called Obi who feel becoming the president of a Nation must be driven by tribal sentiments and display of ignorance. Always going about to stir up emotions of others on wrong reasonings whereas he has done worse too and is not any better.

The solution to Nigeria's problem is beyond Obi or any of these recycled politicians before you come for me thinking I am in support of APC.

It is you finding directives from this. Back in Secondary school (government) I now my Principal was responsible for clearing grass back then and a contractor was given the job to clear the grasses using tractor. I hope you also learnt that it isn't a Federal government thing but state government. The issues with Tinubu has done a lot of harm

I only read the part that says Excecutive Principal should take ownership. They could employ those who cut grasses because I know that there is usually a small Imprest Expense for stuff like this.

I tried as much to understand where it is stated that Teachers are to cut grasses and can't find any. I remember back in Secondary school, the principal paid a contractor to have the grasses cut using tractor. Some small portions are left for students during resumption or for discipline purposes. I really don't understand why we twist things in this country

No sane mind can deny that there are no progress since Bola Ahmed took over. Just like Kukah said there are progress being made different from what we have had in the past and no wound heal in a day.

The problem with those who criticized this government is borne out hate, envy and losing out on the prediction of doom.

Rufai Oseni is one of those people and looking at it critically there's underlining fear in him to have a change of mind and to admit that he has been wrong.

Sane minds believe that the situation of this country cannot change overnight and as such tough decisions will mean some tough experiences too for Nigeria to be better. No sane person would think it would be magical because someone somewhere who talks but does opposite to his words wants to rule the country.

In any case, the solution to Nigeria's problem still remains that we need to look beyond these recycled politicians for Nigeria to become better

We just keep repeating the same mistake with the hope it gets better and anybody pushing Obi for this isn't interested in the progress of the country but wants the country to fail.

It's really sad how someone who is doing a lot of job to make the state better isn't being praised for doing so much while a person who did little or nothing to change his state is celebrated and want to be imposed on a country. Many people don't mean well for Nigeria. They claimed he worked but Anambra is not any better.

Not a fan of d current govt at d center but I love how they are probing opposition figures(El Rufai, Tambuwal, Udom etc) and how their lackeys are defending the probe. Pick up as many as possible if they genuinely av questions to answer... I'll most likely vote for the opposition, if they happen to win, let em also return the favour - I guess we are about to witness the sanity/accountability we've been praying for in governance.

Aregbesola should definitely be part of the plague. Our insincerity in Nigeria has led us to where we are today. Celebrating those who placed Nigeria where she is today and making them sound reasonable when we should shut them down.

We need to start looking out for neutral individuals genuinely interested in making Nigeria better.
