ComeToJesus:You still haven't answered my question. Do you expect every arrest to be announced by the Police? Why ignore my question? To your own question, the Police responded based on the public outcry and that is why you saw a press release. So, please can you kindly answer my question? |
ComeToJesus:So, you expect the police to always announce every arrest made? I am not clear on your comment |
VikingKing:This is a very wrong mindset. He will find many who are still honest. Stop generalising. I have met with some and I can boldly say that there are still honest people irrespective of the economic hardship. |
EyeCumInPiss:And Obi or Atiku isn't, right? We are very insincere in this country |
Is Verydarkman not part of the problem in the protest? Why is he calling for curfew after playing his part in this protest? |
The slavery mindset still works. We want to be free from foreign interventions, yet, we are not free mentally from them. We blame them for everything that went wrong, yet, we are still captured mentally. What is the benefit of the foreign protest to the situation in Nigeria? For the media noise or what? When has protest about the situation in Canada, UK, US or these foreign countries we run to, been carried out in Nigeria to address some issues in these countries? Mental Slavery has not been fought completely. |
Xscape1993:Do you lack comprehension? When Tinubu sponsored protest were they destroying all government assets? Is the court stopping people from protesting? |
DMerciful:I hope you will lead the protest when it is both peaceful and violent. You shouldn't just hide behind your keyboard to type this. Show that courage. |
Thewrath:This just shows it's of no use arguing with you as you tribal bigotry is just for comments without understanding the genesis of issues |
Thewrath:Yorubas never claimed this. Your tribal bigotry instead is at work. Yorubas simply said go to your regions to protest. You still haven't answered me why the Igbos became offended when yorubas declared no protest? It was upon the reaction by Igbos that made the narrative so obvious that Igbos have an agenda to fulfil. Follow the trend of when Yorubas came out to declare no protest in the land and stop this tribal bigotry. It's obvious that you are pained too. |
Thewrath:Where was the protest labelled Igbo thing? Or the Igbos made it obvious that it was their thing? Yorubas stated clearly that they won't protest and that anyone who wants to protest should go to their region to protest. How come all of a sudden the Igbos who claimed they were not interested in the protest became offended and started all sorts? Please, answer this. Does this not suggest the more that the protest is tribal based? Failed antics? When the Igbos are attacking Yoruba for declaring not to protest? The reverse is the case. Igbos were interested to play on the psychology of others just to achieve their aim. If someone tells me that I shouldn't protest in an area despite saying that I won't protest. Should I be offended and start attacking such? Instead, I should emphasize that I am not protesting. It's that simple. Igbos are more tribal than any other tribe in Nigeria. Every discussion is on tribal basis and throwing of insults instead of addressing issues |
Thewrath:Yorubas aren't. They are only concerned about their region damaged in the name of protest while nothing is done in other region. If you are sincere with yourself, why are the Igbos so pained whenever yorubas say they will protect their states and won't protest most especially in Lagos? Why are the Igbos who mentioned not to protest, all of a sudden attacking the position of Yorubas? Does this not bring in tribal sentiment to the protest? Does this not suggest that there are evil intentions hiding under the protest to destroy properties in Lagos and as such, take us back to more suffering because of a protest that lacks direction. |
Racoon:Yes and from someone who has the same mindset like Dangote. Tell me how his Cement company has benefitted Nigerians |
We have a problem in this country and it is the fact that once anybody makes a statement we are swayed by the statement and not the person. If Dangote is not a monopolist, what has he achieved in the other sectors he invested in? Also, let's ask if it is in the interest of the country that his cement price keeps increasing. What has he done about the ridiculous price increase in all his products. Dangote does not work in the interest of the country. Instead, he monopolizes the market and then, make Nigerians pay more. |
Dangote should go and sit down. With the companies he has, what has he done in Nigeria? His products are so expensive. Cement produced here is higher in price and keeps increasing than some countries he supplies. Let him first address the price issues of his products. Yeye person wants to be everywhere and monopolise the business and suffocate Nigerians completely. |
helinues:This is just the truth. This man turned government position to personal business. From house of rep to senate and he is forming holy. He is part of the problem too |
RenaissanceGuy:You are a fan. Stop lying ![]() |
descarado:Please don't attack this man, he knows Bible so well and it seems sleeping with someone else's wife isn't wrong in the Bible he reads. If they tackle him based on this, he would find excuses for this act and definitely can't take all he does to others. |
TenderManiac:You have a big problem. If you can't comprehend the whole report. |
AFULA:.....Money answereth all things INCLUDING DEATH |
odi1278:Because he talked about a fire incident.... Who has reduced our thinking to issues as this? Tomorrow, it is praises about Tinubu by his supporters. When we should look beyond these people and starting thinking of resting all these old politicians. |
The speaker of the house is absolutely wrong on Edo state being the first to have a state anthem. I served in Ogun state and I remember vividly that we sang the state anthem every morning. I know Ogun state has a state anthem long before now and it dates back to some decades. |
Your list is incomplete. Ansar Ud Deen College Isolo was founded in 1953. |
0001Lagos:So, it was Tinubu's supporters that forced print and media houses to release the previous news? I just don't understand why Nigerians are the way we are. Instead of tackling issues, we make everything political. |
AdesegunSanni89:Where did they use and dump him? Instead of you to speak against the act of this Pastor you are diverting from the real issues. Pastors will preach in church to accept chastisement but can't act the same way. If truly, he is a man of God, should his response be to resign? Fine, Redeem has its problem but let's tell ourselves the truth, many of these men of God don't follow the leading or guidance of God, rather, they are more concerned about themselves and themselves alone. |
377:Judges work with evidence and not emotions or sentiments. They didn't prove their case in court to be worthy of judgement in their favour. Now, you are attacking the judge. I really don't understand you. Until you realize that the Politicians are our major problems and not the judges. |
derecho:Who gave this verdict and by what criteria? |
membranus:It is possible when we become united in every sense of it. |
I might not like Reno as a person but on this one, I totally support him 100%. I know he is supporting the present government but we also need to learn from every word he dropped. We are insincere as individuals and this is why Nigeria has never made any progress. The word 'tribalist' gained so much recognition after the last election simply because individuals whether igbo, Yoruba, Hausa or whatever tribe we belong to chose to place tribe above the interest of the Nation. Nigerians are the most insincere people and have never for once united to kick out these old recycled politicians who take us for a ride. They look for words to stir emotions in us but in the real sense, are more interested about themselves first than saving Nigeria. They can easily talk about the problem use every negative situation to their advantage but once they get to that position, the problem persists. Today it is Tinubu, tomorrow, it is how Obi can do it better. We haven't asked ourselves sincerely that if truly they can do it better how come these states are still striving to put a system in place? Why do we still believe any of these recycled politicians can take Nigeria to the promise land? Why? Can't we for once look beyond these same people we keep voting and yet, nothing has changed. Look at the trend in the country and no one cares to ask, why do we still believe in any of them when we can decide to choose outside these men? The progress of this country is not in any of these men hands anymore. They just keep talking, stirring up emotions and yet, all they think about is themselves and not really about Nigeria. When are we going to learn? When are we going to unite truly and kick all of them out by voting for someone who is neutral and have not joined these gangs of politicians. We need a new face in government and not these same people. I will never join any tribe to speak but as it is, the interest of Nigeria is my concern and as such, I look forward to her progress. The progress of Nigeria is not in these old recycled politicians hands. Let's start thinking beyond these same guys. |
YorubaAssasin:This matter requires wisdom as any action from the groom could scatter the reception. A push will lead to noise. Imagine several attempt to make her leave the man yet she was adamant. Tell me what will happen if he pushes her away. |
Antivirus92:You are an unrepentant tribalist and it's no good proceeding further in discussing with you. Like I have clearly stated Tinubu and Obi are not the solution to Nigeria's problem and will never be. This also includes all the old recycled politicians. Tell me if this is tribal again or you definitely being clouded by the tribal sentiments |
Ahmed0336:You'll just wonder how people reason. Someone is just trying to help his political career by talking under the rain. Yet, someone sees this as something to talk about. While the situation of the country is sad, we need also to look beyond these same old politicians as the solution to our problems. |
