BlackLibya:
Oh ok, thanks for telling me that. Is Afro-weave banned too in the schools? I always thought cameroon would be the worst because of their first lady but I'm so happy to know there is a country in west africa that doesnt allow all this nonsense into it. I suppose diaspora Cameroonians are not a reality to what is actually going on there.
Cameroon is not the worst trust me, and this is Central Africa not West brother  wink
Chantal Biya is one whithin 20 millions of Cameroonians so please don't generalize
Afro weaves too, everything which is not natural is banned at school out there

tom28:
He is even wrong in the sterotype.Nigerian men hardly treat women with cruelty and hatred. Now if he said nigerian men are liars and are decietful then i might have agreed with him on that sterotype because a good number are actually decietful cheesy.
loooooooool grin
RomanceRe: Why Do Nigerian Men Treat Their Wives With So Much Hatred And Cruelty by Nayah(f): 5:32pm On Nov 15, 2011
tom28:
OP what of those white men who chop their wives into tiny little pieces with axes just because of an arguement they had and throw the body inside the basement. Are those men worse than nigerian men?
Guy its not only nigerian men who have issues.
Then you can get what your sisters feel when you generalize about them wink
RomanceRe: Why Do Nigerian Men Treat Their Wives With So Much Hatred And Cruelty by Nayah(f): 5:24pm On Nov 15, 2011
Poster, that's why I say generalizing can lead to mistakes because in some countries in Africa Nigerian are known to treat their women like Princess
RomanceRe: Who Is A Prost.itu-te? by Nayah(f): 4:34pm On Nov 15, 2011
Poster, good topic because nowadays this word is used in every situations, a pros ti tute is just a woman who works with her body to earn her life, it's a job like any other else even though of course in terms of moral this is different

RomanceRe: Marrying For Love Is Wrong by Nayah(f): 1:32pm On Nov 15, 2011
Poster, some mothers said that better marrying someone who will respect you, help you and support you than someone that you love so you can see that your statement is not completely strange, even though it's discutable

BlackLibya:
I didnt say they didnt have long hair, I said did they have hair like that girl, thick and wavy? I notice in alot of these pageants African countries choose mixed girls, even sometimes at the expense of them NOT having ever lived in said country.

I have talked to a few girls from cameroon and none of them had that type of hair, ironically, none of them had long hair either and almost(but not all) all of them wore weave or perm, which would indicate to me that this woman's look is sought after but not actually a reality for most Cameroonians.
Good morning, as a Cameroonian I could tell you that Cameroonians are most of times natural and have a lot of hair just ask some Nigerians who are living out there then you'll, the majority have a lot of hair because weave or realxer was forbidden at school until unversity, all student had to have their own hair, and in Cameroon women use to put butter cream on their hair or other vegetal oil to have type of hair

Now with media and all that, some women put weaves but trust me a lot of them got lot of hair and leave this that way

RomanceRe: Do Other African Men Complain About Their Ladies? by Nayah(f): 11:41pm On Nov 14, 2011
Poster, don' t forget some Africans are francophones are Portuguese speaking are you sure they don't complain abot their women?
Then I can tell you you're wrong go to Ivory Coast then you'll see how much they complain about their materialistic beahaviour, same thing for Cameroonian or Senegalese and Congolese so Nigerian are not the only case wink

those cameroon women are super sexy. I wonder how many Cameroonian girls have hair like that though. She really represents Cameroon well(sarcasm)
Blacklybia you would be very surprised to konw that in Cameroon many women have long hair! and not only in Cameroon and this is not sacarsm grin
DaRapture:
What is the purpose of this pageant, when many African girls here in the US take part in the Miss Black America pageant?

Here are the countries which have participated:

Ghana
Nigeria

RomanceRe: Why Are Women So Emotional? by Nayah(f): 4:29pm On Nov 14, 2011
aribisala0:
you are right on that but the question is not sensitivity but emotion and most people are focusing only on crying
envy/jealousy along with anger are the commoner emotions in both men and women but women show their anger less. this tells me that it is social conditioning to what works

getting angry or aggressive with a man will not work and a man crying for a woman or another man will not work
it is a form of communication
we are all emotional we just speak different languages
On that point you're right brother wink
RomanceRe: Why Are Women So Emotional? by Nayah(f): 3:50pm On Nov 14, 2011

men fight in public showing anger daily
Quite true, but sensitivity is difficult for them to show it
