The man should have just stopped and given them something the moment they grabbed his steering wheel. I'm not supporting what the touts did to him. I'm seriously against them. But when you're in a lawlessness country like Nigeria where touts would be threatening people's lives and police would be at the next junction extorting from those who survived the touts, you'd have to apply wisdom. He was in the car with his wife and kid(s) how much was the money they were demanding for that he had to gamble with his family? I remember one time I dropped a friend off at Anthony under bridge, he wanted to climb the hill to access the express so I moved in to drop him off. As he came down and left, one rugged tout started running towards me, I wanted to zoom off then I noticed he carried a very big stone, I just stopped and gave him N500 yes you heard me right. Five hundred naira which he collected and walked away. Imagine if I had stubbornly tried to zoom off and he had shattered my windshield, it would have cost me up to 200k to replace it. But I applied wisdom and paid just 500 and left peacefully. We should learn how to apply wisdom. Everything shouldn't be about aggression cos these touts have nothing to lose. I've seen them pull down a conductor from a moving bus. They're ready to fight and die. So dragging with them isn't a wise option. May their souls rest in peace. |
Mindlog:This question you asked is a question that most newly wedded couples don't properly settle before getting married. It shocks me whenever I read stories about guys complaining about how their wife doesn't support them in the home, denies them sex, requests for interest whenever she borrows them money and many more. And how these complaints most times lead to the end of their marriage. I do ask myself if these people didn't date at all before getting married, cos when you're dating someone and make up your mind to get married to each other, these some of the things you two must sort out before moving forward with the marriage. In this current economy, it's almost impossible for one partner to shoulder the entire responsibility of the home regardless of how much his income is. So if you as a guy fails to properly discuss how the home would be run with your partner before getting married, you've got yourself to blame when the load becomes to heave for you and she tells you it's your responsibility to provide and doesn't lift a finger to assist you. |
I can't even carry one bag by myself. I'd rather pay aboki to carry it for me. But that doesn't mean she can beat me in a standard fight. 😏 |
The problem I've noticed about most men of God is that they can't differentiate between an instruction and a doctrine. That's why a pastor who said TV is bad few decades ago has a TV station and live stream his services. This is why people keep seeing the church of today as a joke. |
VinnyBaba:Hahahaha ![]() Cc folake4u ![]() |
classicfrank4u:Football is just like sales. You're as good as your last game. Once you drop form for the next 5 matches, you'll become yesterday's news. |
GanagiBitrus:We're currently on 7 points with 4 games left. If we win those remaining 4 matches, we'll finish with 19 points. I'm extremely confident that 19 points should be enough to make us elegible for playoffs. Cos some of the elegible teams would definitely drop points. |
GanagiBitrus:Even if we don't top the group we should gather enough points so that we can make it to play offs. |
omooba969:Thanks bro. 👍 |
folake4u:Ok o |
folake4u:Don't worry. Very soon you'll join me. |
folake4u:You can port to Manutd so that every weekend we'll keep congratulating each other like this. |
prinsam30:It doesn't matter. What matters most is that the 3 points is secured. Hopefully we'll improve in our other matches. |
folake4u:At least we won. 3 points secured |
folake4u:How many matches have we played so far. Just wait and see...season just started. |
folake4u:Lol but we're the biggest club in England na. Google and chatgtp is your friend. |
Mods remove this match from the front page it's not a premier league match. |
GloriousGbola:Good evening, I was banned twice. I don't know what's wrong with Seun's bot. I would recommend Devnaija Academy limited. You'll find them at number thirteen Joseph Street, Opebi, Lagos. Their coding classes for kids are fun, affordable, and easy to learn. |

omooba969:This game would be a walk in the park for Manutd. |
folake4u:De play |
This is so funny. Sadly corruption wouldn't qualify us to host it. We don't even have up to 5 fifa standard stadiums, and then there's the issue of security and other issues. And even if by some serious lobbying we do, the LOC committee would use it as an opportunity to embezzle billions of naira. By the end of the tournament, more than half of the work force who labored to ensure that it's a success would complain of half or no salaries. Our own super eagles wouldn't be left out of the delayed salary issue. If the coach is a Nigerian, he too should forget about salary. Still after the tournament, everything bought would be looted. From office equipment like laptops, AC, fridge, office tables and chairs to buses cars...etc. Would go missing almost immediately. Just like what happened during COJA, all the luxurious buses were sold to transportation companies. Nigeria is a wonderful country. |
