Politics / Re: Party Chairman, Oko Lara! by NCP: 3:40am On Jul 31, 2018
BabaRamota1980:
For those of us who wondered what Lara found interesting in Comrade, we are about to find out.

Oyegun was predictable as party chairman and his tenure generally was one dimensional. Even when Saraki and Dogara pulled a fast one under the Chairman and effected a coup, Oyegun yielded ground and allowed them.

The chairmanship under Oshiomhole is going to be different, it will be loaded with plenty of drama, there will be no dull moment, it will be fun to watch and for the firat time since coming to power we are about to see what a ruling party is supposed to do with power.

Before becoming Governor, Comrade Adams Aliu Oshiomhole came out of Leadership in Labour Union, where politics is raw, fierce and very dirty. Labour Union battles are the "in your face" type of battles and because they are trained not to yield ground to corporate powers they end up getting most of the terms they bargain for, either through work stoppage (strike), mediation or arbitration panel.

Chairman's first assignment was Ekiti, where he had a walk over. His next assignment is dealing with disgruntled elements in the party. These elements will be wrong to dismiss Chairman Oshiomhole's guidance or his directives in the way they did with Chairman Oyegun. Comrade understands collective bargaining and astute in ways to deal with disgruntled persons.

Comrade cannot only ruin their career in APC, he can influence their destiny in PDP or anywhere else they run to. Political party structure has evolved and much of its current processes and tactics are borrowed from organized labour. In labour union, no one steps out of line.

I believe Comrade will effect control of the party heirarchy and compensate for the laxity of political savviness from the President. Both will harmonize well to rejuvenate and re energize the base to troop out for APC.

He is planning to force Saraki and his base out of Kwara APC and leave him vulnerable at national level to either defect and resign out of APC or risk an embarrasing impeachment when Senate resumes.

We didnt know this man well as Governor of Edo State...but we are seeing a direct and dramatic side of him at the center. We are looking into same mirror that caught Lara's attention. grin

QED, Let them ask former PDP Heavyweights in Edo State.
Politics / Re: Impeachment: Now I Know Why Trump Called Us Shithole Country - Ortom (VIDEO) by NCP: 7:03pm On Jul 30, 2018

@POLITICSNGR

PoliticsNGR has obtained footage from Governor Samuel Ortom's press conference addressing his impeachment today by 8 APC lawmakers in the Benue state house of Assembly.

Ortom lamented over the issue as police officers surrounded the assembly building preventing lawmakers under the PDP from entering the premises. He then admitted knowing why President Donald Trump referred to Nigeria as a Sh*thole country.

Phones / Re: Impersonating Twitter Accounts Bearing Elon Musk Will Be Locked by NCP: 9:19am On Jul 30, 2018
Josh1920:
Finding counterfeit accounts when you search for a popular person on social media isn’t a new thing.
All the security checks put in place to curb this menace have shown little success.
Twitter has developed a new means for curbing this impersonators menace.
In a bid to cure this menace, twitter will lock any account bearing the name Elon Musk that is not the original verified account.
But the Tesla founder isn’t the only one whose name is off limits.
Jeff Bezos and Crypto currency kingpin Roger ver names have also been prohibited.
Scrolling through your twitter feeds and you suddenly discover the Elon musk account you followed, suddenly discussing Crypto currency and being so generous. Those days have been brought to an end.
This new automated lock for certain names appears to be specifically designed to target names that are commonly used for cryptocurrency scams. Testing out “Larry Page,” “Donald Trump,” and “Ajit Pai,” did not result in an account lock.
Twitter began automatically locking accounts that try to take on Musk’s display name. Tests have shown the efficiency of this mechanism and the account lock was instant. To continue, a user has to solve a Google reCAPTCHA and verify their phone number. But once that’s done, attempting to change the display name to “Bill Gates” or “John McAfee” will start the whole process over.

the VictmsMentality Syndrome (VMS) is deeply etched in the psyche of IPOB people.

It comes in varying proportions. It manifests in form of "outrageous feelgood syndrome", "EnviousHatred towards other neighbouring tribes or races", "AttacheeByForce", UNPROVOKED JEALOUSY and more.

Agreed but talk about Bayelsa State. An Ijaw state , home to a former president. A state that receives larger allocation than most.

A state that has no infrastructure.

A state that has one of the lowest population counts.

Bayelsa State acknowledges it owes 5 months of salaries while the workers claim they are owed between 10 and 16 months salaries.

Please talk about them.
