Politics › Re: NJC Recommends 14 Judges For Court Of Appeal, None From South-east(full List) by NCP: 5:53pm On Nov 27, 2017 |
aminulive: @POLITICSNGR
The National Judicial Council has recommended 14 judges for appointment to the Federal court of appeal but surprisingly none of them is from the South-east.
This development has added fuel to rumours of Nepotism and tribalism that have plagued the Buhari administration. PoliticsNGR gathered that the list is divided into two categories namely; Priority and reserved.
The Priority category lists Justice P.A Mahmoud from Benue state, Justice F. Ojo from Kwara state, Justice I.G Abundaga from Nassarawa state, Justice M.B Idris from Niger state and Justice A. M. Talba from Adamawa state.
Others are Justices Kadi M. M. Alkali from Adamawa State, A. I. Adenyangtso from Taraba, A. S. Umar and O. Z. Senchi, both from Kebbi, A. M. Lamido from Sokoto, B. B. Aliyu from Zamfara, Ebowei Tobi, from Delta State and G.O. Kolawole from Osun State.
Names on the reserved list(14 recommendations) include; Justices O. Itodo from Benue state, M. A. Abdul Gafar from Kwara state, D. D. Adeck from Nassarawa state, D. G. Mann from Plateau state, D. G. Goji from Adamawa state and Kadi U. B. Umar from Adamawa state. Others are Justices Z. B. Abubakar from Kebbi state, Justice Y. A. Bashir from Taraba state, I. M. Sani from Kaduna state, F. L. Adamu from kano state, I. B. Ahmed from Katsina state, M Y Uftsha'u from Zamfara state, O. A. Ipaye from Osun state and P. O. Affen From Bayelsa state. https://politicsngr.com/2017/11/27/njc-recommends-14-judges-court-appeal-appointment-none-south-eastfull-list/ cc: lalasticlala, mynd44 Buhari trying. onyfrank: President Mugabe, the former president of Zimbabwe rules his country for 37 years.
Within these years, he could be able to make his country the most educated country in Africa.
He gave his country steady power supply, he never borrows. He gave his country water supply, good hospital and most of the basic amenities.
But Nigeria, within this 37 years has had about 9 presidents, namely; Buhari, Babangida, Shonekon, Abacha, Abdulsalam, Obasanjo, Yaradua, Goodluck and Buhari, still Nigeria is giant of Africa and nothing to show for it.
MUGABE , YOU’RE THE MAN .... |

Projide: Dress them in dirty garment if you like, Magu is a misfit. A vindictive, petty person that has now become a liability to the agency he leads. Magu's current action makes him a great liability to the anti graft agency. More so, you don't trivialize security matters on the pages of Newspapers and expect the two most sensitive intelligence agencies to clap for you. The ovation is fast fading out. He had better resigned and go on exile, NOW. |

Politics › Re: Coast Guard Boat Ideas. Damen FCS 5009, Patrol Vessel. by NCP: 10:41pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
SSBN: The Damen FCS 5009 Patrol vessel is one of the most technically advanced vessel in the Nigerian Navy surface fleet. This versatile FPS 5008 Patrol boat is the ideal solution for patrolling Nigeria’s EEZ. Compared to the new Stealth OPV’s in the Navy, it has low operational costs, very fuel efficient and I gotta say pretty cheap. In a country that have a requirement to patrol am EEZ, this is the ideal platform.
ARMAMENT
This vessel is outfitted with “Sea Rogue” weapons system, that’s the 20mm cannon forward of the wheelhouse and two 12.7mm Browning guns fitted in the port and starboard side of the wheel house. The ‘Sea Rogue’ can be operated by a hand controller and has an accurate target-tracking feature. The ship allows for customized complimentary weaponry to be installed . Weapons such as grenade launchers, utility helicopters.
A country like Nigeria with rich oil reserves at sea, maritime territorial disputes with hostile neighbors, most recent of which was the loss of Bakassi peninsula to Camerooon and of course, with the world’s deadliest waters for seafarers – should have at lean twenty of these vessels in active duty with the “Coast Guard”..NAVY !!
Pics (Damen FCS 5009 and Shaldag patrol craft)
This fast patrol boat, if aquired in large enough numbers (for optimised effectiveness) will be perfect for a variety of missions, including search and rescue, port security and law enforcement duties.
Complement vessels like this with five Shaldag patrol boats, Augusta Westland search and rescue helicopters armed with guns, ship based UAV’s and of course, rather than lease the ATR-42 to the airforce all the time, maintain a dedicated round the clock patrol plane, the Nigerian Coast Guard will be sub-sahara Africa’s 3rd largest and most navy. If serious Nigeria is one of the very few countries in Africa that can create a well equiped Coast Guard in months.
https://defensenigeria.blog/2017/11/24/coast-guard-boat-ideas-damen-fcs-5009-patrol-vessel/ Nice looking Craft. If we have a Coast Guard today, this will compliment the present roles of NN. |
