can the subscription work on modem b`cos i like the BCM for #1400 for 2GB

after going through the survey i just notice that this guy is just collecting internet usage statistics in nigeria, he has no intertion of opening internet business.

whether wify or mafy i`m enjoying my AIRTEL with HSDPA connection, let me give u a piece of advice, just don`t enter the business if u are not loaded like other network operators like glo,mtn etc b`cos from what i`m getting from u, u are going to subcribe to an ISP and inturn distribute the network which means most of ur subscriber will be on shared bandwidth and that will lead to slow connection and disconnecton all time, why do u think glo and other network are using the fiber optic cable which for now remain the best means of getting high speed connection and unlimited downloads so think again.

infact upcoming artist are looking for who to pirate there music free of charge so below is a download link of upcoming artist so download and give me feed back

tlops:
this is Naija, everything is caused by God. and we are quick to push the blame on Him even if it was due to human carelessness. In a functional society the police will investigate the cause of the accident and she will learn to drive carefully. anyway thank God say the wall nor fall over her head.

yes i`m with u brother

humblebee:
i don't understand this?

it could be reckless driving which could even lead to killing of passerby

i personally thank God that no life was lost but it is only in nigeria such thing will happen and nothing will be done, what i`m saying here now is that the police need to investigate the cause of the accident and arrest and punish who ever is guity, seeing the pic, she might be the one actually driving.

here is pic

for me airtel is the best, i have MTN MODEM but i coverted it to AIRTEL INTERNET and don`t remember when last i recharge my MTN LINE, AIRTEL have internet package plan that is cheaper than any network, i won`t reveal that plan    before they notice and adjust it or maybe they are aware and just leave it that way, please that understand that plan should continue using it without making noise.

well, to me they have really improved their network if a state like Gombe State can get HSDPA on AIRTEL INTERNET that shows improvement

please people should try and watch the video b/4 making comment, if you are making comment indicate yes that you have watch the video and explain to us what happen b`cos i tried to download the video but it was almost 250MB so i can`t waste my data bundle for something i know nothing good will come out of it.

kaysy:
why is nobody talking of airtel? well i use airtel and it's just based on luck as far as am concerned, airtel services is good in some areas and not credible in others, i enjoy it well in my area especially when am in school "Yabatech" but sometimes it misbehaves but i love its fastness.

i support u airtel is good, airtel is HSDPA in my area in Gombe State

HOW EVER THE STORY GOES I BLAME THE NIGERIAN POLICE FOR INCOMPETENCY, IF SOMEONE GAVE THE POLICE A TIP-OFF SO WHAT STOPS THEM FROM GATHERING ENOUGH EVIDENCE BEFORE MAKING ARREST,NOW WE ARE IN A WORLD OF DIGITAL WHERE THEY COULD HAVE EASILY CAPTURED HER ON TAPE ENTERING AND EVEN WRITING THE SAID EXAM, NOW EVEN IF THEY FIND THE NAME OF HER BOSS AS A REGISTERED STUDENT FOR THE EXAM, SHE CAN STILL DENIES IT SINCE IT IS A WORLD OF POLITICS JUST AS SHE HAS SAID THAT IT WAS A SET-UP SO THE REGISTRATION TOO WAS A SET-UP B`COS THERE IS NO ACCREDITED CENTRE FOR REGISTRATION OF NABTECH SINCE THE PASSPORT IS BEEN SCAN AND NOT DIRECTLY CAPTURED. SO POLICE UNA DON Bleep UP THERE IS NOTHING TO INVESTIGATE

@ncpat

Do you know the difference between "Mbps" and "MBps"? What your network is advertising (deceptively) is "Mbps"

b stands for bit and B stands for byte. In the context of data rate units, one byte refers to 8 bits. For example, when a 1 Mbps connection is advertised, it usually means that the maximum achievable download bandwidth is 1 megabit/s (million bits per second), which is actually 0.125 MB/s (megabyte per second), or about 0.1192 MiB/s (megabyte per second).

Doubt me? Do the maths from the areas you highlighted yourself: (1.36 * 1024) / 8 = 174.08KB/s approximately the value correctly displayed by your download manager.

And this value is "ok", but not worth the scream!!!

is there any network in nigeria offering MBps? if so plesae post a screen, i`m only happy b`cos i don`t believe airtel will give a state as Gombe HSDPA and like i said, they have downgraded it back to EDGE b`cos i know they will not like state like Gombe to enjoy what Lagos,Abuja,PH and the big states are enjoying, i just hope they return the service back cos is ok to me if i can download 200mb of files under 10-15 minutes, thanks

so one can really browse on 1.3mbps here in nigeria and gombe state for that matter

hy guys post your screen shot and location, mine is gombe state

This is one thing i hate about people in this nairaland, they will start a topic looking for an answer and when the answer is given, they will not come back to say thank you. If you see them with BB you think they know a lot.

thx ncpat 4 dis candid tho't.

I'm always thrilled by some graphics i see on tv sometimes. E.g. How can i place a kind of logo at d extreme top right hand side spinning intermittently?

Hw to create a text graphics and making ray of light to move thru each letter, as it's on CNN?

Also when some products are being advertized, e.g sermon CD/DVD, u see it rolling out frm its sleeve/casing, as if real, and either revolving or rotating. Even sweet can b unwrapping, etc. Hw can dis kind thing b achieve?

Tx in adv.
