RomanceTwo Lovers Drown On Valentine's Day In Asaba by ndala(op): 12:29pm On Feb 15, 2013
Tragedy struck, yesterday, in Asaba, Delta State when two lovers reportedly drowned in a swimming pool of a popular Hotel.

Sources claimed that the said hotel (name withheld) has been a base for love birds during festive periods especially Christmas and New Year.

LEADERSHIP reliably gathered that the ‘love birds’ had resolved in the early hours of the day to swim after drinking at the hotel(s) pool side, against the boy’s mother’s advice.

LEADERSHIP further gathered that the boy, a highly placed, “Asaba yuppee” had been having problems with his step mother who allegedly placed a death curse on him.

But his friends who disagreed with the story said he died on deaf ears.

While they were at the hotel, our informed sources said they both dived into the pool and soon after started shouting for help to no avail.

Police spokesman in the state, ASP Famous Ajieh confirmed that the owner of the hotel including some of the workers were being interrogated and added that the corpses of the victims were taken to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) mortuary.

EntertainmentWorld Fatest Women Have Sex 7 Times In A Day... by ndala(op): 5:31pm On Feb 14, 2013
Even the world's fattest woman has more sex than you. But don't worry, she's having more sex than most people.
Pauline Potter, who held the Guinness World Record for fattest female on the planet, says she'slost up to 100 pounds thanks to regular sex with her ex-husband. Well, regular might be both an understatement and an overstatement. We're talking up to seven times a day, and as ex-hubby Alex — who tops 200 pounds but weighs less than one of Potter's legs — explains to Closer, the sex is frequent but hardly normal.
“It’s hard to position her and find her pleasure spots as she has a lot of fat in the pelvic area. But it turns me on knowing she’s satisfied. Although once, when she got on top, I couldn’t breathe.”
Way to go, Pauline! The fact that she's such an unlikely spokesperson for the health benefits of sex makes her even cooler in our book. And if you're in a bit of a drought ... perhaps this will shame you into stepping up your game.

SportsCoach Stephen Keshi Is Being Force To Accept A Foreign Tecnical Adviser .d.mark by ndala(op): 10:03am On Feb 13, 2013
Coach Stephen Keshi resignation saga is throwing up more facts as the Senate President David Mark on Tuesday revealed that the NigeriaFootball Federation had pressured him into signing a fresh clause to his contract that would have placed a new foreign technical adviser above him.
Mark made the revelation in Abuja while addressing the Senate on his trip to Africa Nations Cup and the crisis that hit the Nigeria camp immediately after winning the trophy on Sunday.
President of the Senate said that he spoke to Keshi on the phone on Tuesday morning and confirmed that the coach had actually resigned, and cited reasons of interference for his decision.
He said, “I spoke with Stephen Keshi this morning and he confirmed to me that he actually said that he has resigned. He said the reason is because there was too much interference even before the final match on Sunday. There was a lot of pressure on him that he must accept foreign technical adviser and this he is opposed to because he thinks that all that we need is in this country. That there are Nigerians who can work with him and he doesn’t see the gain in bringing foreigners.
“But he also said he was sorry he had to actually put in his resignation. But I think he is prepared to rescind it provided that we don’t force foreign technical partners on him. Once we give him the team to manage we should give him the free hand to manage the team.
“Whatever way he goes to get the result shouldn’t be our problem because once we beginto meddle in the way he is going to run and manage the team then we cannot get results. Once we give him the task we should give him the free hand to accomplish the task and bring the result and I think this Senate must be unanimous in that.
“We should prevail on him not to resign and also that the Sports Ministry or the administrators must give him the free hand to bring us the resultthat we want. People believe that we are great but we must show them that we can do it not by words but by actions.”
Earlier on the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu and others, had brought for consideration a motion on Nigeria’s victory at the2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
Ekweremadu, while presenting the motion notedthe tenacity and the spirit, patriotic zeal as well as the unity and team spirit displayed by players, coaches and the entire management.
He also noted with satisfaction, the contribution of the home-based players to the overall success of the team.
“The Senate is nevertheless mindful of the degeneration of grassroots football, poor standard of our local leagues, and the many challenges facing the nation’s football and sportsdevelopment in general,” he said.
In its resolution, the Senate gave the team a standing ovation after congratulating the playersand the coaches.

ndala: The story is told of a young boy whose parents were murdered during 2002 riots in Kaduna. He was aged 11 years at the time.
His parents, Mr Austine and Mrs Josephine Moses, were missionaries until they met their untimely death. The boy left his house to play football, but returned home to see that all his parents had laboured for had been razed down, and he would never see his mother and father again.
He was taken to London by his uncle almost immediately after the incident, and while in London, he began deploying his football skills. Though his parents were murdered, his passion for football was never killed. He played football for his school and later for a local Tandrige League club until Crystal Palace FC approached him.
From that point, his career progressed in leaps and bounds!
This player played for England's under 16, 17, 19 and 21 teams between 2005 and 2010, scoring 11goals for England during this period. He later moved to Wigan Athletic and now he plays for Chelsea.

Emenike - Prayers not answered... Emenike misses training again

Important Funny Weird Disappointing SAD Amazing Inspiring
Nigeria’s AFCON hopes have been dealt a massiveblow after top scorer Emmanuel Emenike was ruled out of Sunday’s final by a muscle tear.
The Super Eagles are gunning for a third Nations Cup title after they won the tournament in 1980 and 1994.
MTNFootball.comcan exclusively report that a scan has showed the Spartak Moscow striker, who leads the goals chart at this year’s Nations Cup, suffered a thigh muscle tear of the right leg and so will miss the tournament final against Burkina Faso.
A top team official informed MTNFootball.com: “Emenike has been ruled out after a scan showedhe suffered a thigh muscle tear of the right leg during the semi-final against Mali. It’s a big, big blow for Nigeria.”
The big, all-action centre-forward, who has emerged as one of the shinning stars at only his first AFCON, has fired four goals, just short of the 10 goals scored by Nigeria to propel them to the Sunday’s championship game.
One of his goals was the opening Group C match against Burkina Faso, which underlined his power-play style as he literally bulldozed his waypast his markers to give Nigeria the lead.
The 25-year-old striker has missed training for the past two days and both he and team officials have worked overtime to assure he will be fit for Sunday.
Villarreal striker Ikechukwu Uche and Russia-based forward Ahmed Musa could be the likely replacement for the injured star now.
Uche has struggled for form at this competition since he lost his starting XI role to Emenike, whileAhmed Musa has not been at his most lethal best even though he scored in Wednesday’s 4-1 demolition of Mali.
Musa has been played by CSKA Moscow at centre-forward in the first half of the Russian Premier League with telling effect as he has scored a totalof nine goals in all competitions thus far.
He may have struggled with his form but his confidence would have been boosted by his well-taken goal against Mali in Durban.
Ideye, who has regained top form and crowned it with a goal on Wednesday, could also be pushed as top striker with Uche or Musa now playing behind him.

How can I not when its on my radio, TV and everything else. Even if I did relax, I wouldn’t stop hearing about it. I’m wise, I can handle the hate but enough is enough yo!! Yes it bothers me but its not my main focus! My music is… and when I speak on it .. its because I want people to know how I feel… Yes they talked about Jesus… but “him” I am not him, not even close!!!

A day in my shoes is a day in hell, believe it or not! Y’all don’t wanna me be in my predicament … Before y’all say I’m weak remember what I’ve been through.. My soul cries for positivity. I’m not broken I am STRONG……
This man needs prayer. He has never opened up like this in his life.
But a particular statement he made is very shocking:
Yes they talked about Jesus… but “him” I am not him, not even close!!! – Chris Brown said.

CelebritiesReal Fact Of Wizkid Banky W Break Up.. by ndala(op): 8:13am On Feb 06, 2013
Wizkid and EME Breakup 300×214 EXCLUSIVE: Why EME’s Wizkid is Stuck with his Alleged BAD 7 Album Record Deal, Plus Rapper Chief Keef’s$6Million Interscope Deal (ANALYSIS)As Nigerian artists on the continent continue to dream and push aggressively to enter the Western music markets, especially America’s, there has never been a time so crucial to discuss the legal pitfalls of such moves for the unwary artist.
Indeed I have discussed some of these pitfalls in many of my prior articles on www.africamusiclaw.com, with an emphasis on the D’banj/Kanye West G.O.O.D music deal. Nevertheless, we have another good case to underscore my message of being cautious and reading the dotted line before you sign any legal agreement with a record label. It is the recent case/debacle currently unfolding between one of Nigeria’s respected record labels Empire Mates Entertainment and its artist Wizkid. Before we get into the Wizkid facts, be advised that there is a blue print that we can follow to compare and contrast what a fair record contract looks or should look like.
Our example comes from the recent $6million Interscope record contract deal signed by seventeen (17) year old artist Chief Keef. Interscope is a California based company. The deal terms have been made available to the public in a Cook County Chancery Court filing in Chicago thanks to the fact that Keef is a minor.
In California, when an employer hires a minor (persons under 18) in the entertainment industry, a court approval is required. The statute (law) is called the Coogan Act. The act also requires that an employer set aside 15% of the gross earnings earned by the minor, into a trust fund, which is managed/controlled by the minor’s trustee until he/she becomes of age.
Chief Keef’s Interscope Record Deal
1. Chief Keef signed a 3 album-record contract deal
2. Chief Keef also has a separate three year contract to establish and control his own record label, ‘Glory Boyz Entertainment’ (GBE), which would be a subsidiary of Interscope Records. This second deal could, according to court records, fetch him $6million.
3. For his GBE Deal, Interscope paid Keef a$440,000 advance. His manager also receives a$180,000 advance payment. Chief Keef and his manager each own 40% of the GBE and the other 20% is split between Keef’s GBE artist, his uncle and another individual.
4. The GBE contract requires that interscope pay$200,000 in overhead expenses i.e. the costs associated with running the label GBE.
5. For the GBE label, GBE and Interscope would split profits equally. Interscope, however, can terminate the GBE deal if losses exceed$4.5million.
6. Independent of the above, Interscope has agreed to pay Chief Keef an advance fee of$440,000. 15% of the aforementioned advance, because he is a minor, must be deposited into a trust fund aka ”blocked trust” where it will be controlled by his grand mother until he turns 18.
7. Interscope also provided $300,000 advance (recording costs) for Chief Keef’s recording of his album “Finally Rich.”
8. Chief Keef’s direct record deal with Interscope is conditioned on the success of his album. If ChiefKeef does not sell 250,000 units of his album by the end of December 2013, then Interscope can decide not to release his subsequent albums and compilation.
Chief Keef has other legal problems namely criminal action against him. He is currently lockedup in a Juvenile detention center (jail for young people) and he has been sued by a woman in family court for child support. His extra legal shenanigans, however, exceed the scope of this article. We are focused, for all intended purposes, on actions that put monies in our pockets, not the ones that steal our freedom and have us involved in baby mama drama. So, let’s get on with it and look at Nigeria’s Wizkid and his deal with the Nigerian based record label EME.
Wizkid’s EME Record Deal
NOTE: Unlike Keef’s, the terms of the Wizkid EME deal are alleged. It is based on insider talks and news stories that have flooded the internet within the past year alone. It may or may not be true. For our informative and educational purpose, however, it is irrelevant whether the facts are true. In fact, I am treating these facts as hypothetical facts, except where noted as true, to drive home the underlying point on the need to read your contract before you sign it, to avoid legal pitfalls like those that may find themselves under the same alleged factual situation like Wizkid. Keep this in mind as you read my analysis.
1. Wizkid is a Nigerian citizen (true fact)
2. Wizkid is a self proclaimed “studio rat.” As early as 11 years old, he was already singing.
3. By 2006, he got his break with Nigeria’s famed artist OJB (true fact)
4. In 2009, at 19years old, Wizkid got an even bigger break when he began working with Nigerian-American R &B super star Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment Record label. (True fact)
5. Wizkid already put a lot of the hard work on the talent side before he met EME. From 2009 onwards, EME focused on the branding, artist development, marketing and promotions of Wizkid. (True fact)
6. Within and outside of Nigeria, there was NO LEGAL CONTRACT signed between EME and Wizkid. (Alleged)
7. About March 2012, when fans and the public screamed in excitement about the EME Wizkid UK Tour, Wizkid still did not have a legal contract. However, as a condition to perform in the UK and to get visas granted, the hosting country (UK) required a record contract evidencing Wizkid wassigned to EME. EME, in a rush, put a contract together for Wizkid. (Alleged)
8. The EME-Wizkid contract (the first signing of a record deal) had a term requiring a
7 album deal. They promised this contract will be amended to the “real contract” later. (Alleged)
9. Wizkid signed the 7 Album contract, without reading the terms. (Alleged)
10. Prior to the signing, monies were split between the two in a 50/50 way i.e. monies made from concerts/ tours were split evenly. (Alleged)
11. In April of 2012, EME announced a joint deal, in a press statement, with Akon’s Konvict. EME claimed Akon would “produce and release Wizkid worldwide” while EME managed Wizkid in Nigeria. (True Fact)
12. Before we could blink, all of a sudden, Wizkid signed a management deal with Tinie Tempah in the UK. Really? (True Fact)
13. Banky W & EME allegedly never negotiated or agreed to such a deal. Wizkid directly negotiated and signed with Tinie Tempah. (Alleged)
14. Wizkid fronts his own label “Star Boy” under the blessings and umbrella of the EME label. (Alleged)
15. As it stands, the relationship between the EMEcrew and Wizkid has deteriorated to the point where Wizkid no longer speaks to members of the EME team, including Banky W. All correspondences are filtered through his new manager Godwin Tom (Alleged).
16. Wizkid wants more money and he wants out i.e. reduce the 7 Album deal. He feels slighted because EME promised they would sign a new contract with him and now they want to hold his feet to the fire on their 7 album contract. (Alleged)
AML artists, now what? If you find yourself stuck in such position based on the alleged facts like Wizkid, what do you do?
SportsMan Dies Watching Nigeria Vs Ivory Coast by ndala(op): 10:31pm On Feb 04, 2013
An engineer with Nigeria’s Federal Road Maintenance Agency, FERMA collapsed and died yesterday in Abeokuta, capital of Ogun state, after Ivory Coast netted the equaliser in the Nigeria - Ivory Coast quarter-final match in the African Nations Cup tournament in South Africa.
The man, identified as Owolabi Ismail had a sudden heart attack at a viewing centre popularly called,"Promise Stadium" which is located at Lanlepe compound, Oke-Sokori,Abeokuta. He died while he was being taken to the hospital. He had since been buried according to Islamic rites.
A witness said Owolabi slumped when the Ivorians equalised Nigeria’s first half goal lead. Nigeria eventually won the game, with another goal scored in the second half. According to him:"We were watching the match at the viewing centre with much anticipation and anxiety from everybody. He was so much in the match that he did not want any distraction from anybody. Immediately our boys fired in the first goal, the excitement was so much that he was dancing andpraising God and when the Ivorians equalised, he collapsed instantly and we have to rush him to a nearby hospital where there was no doctor on hand to attend to him only to give up the ghost while being taken to another hospital in the area", he narrated.
Owolabi’s elder sister, Rashidat said that her late brother, popularly called Engineer or Baba Ibrahiim was survived by aged parents, two children, a male and female. Sympathisers and mourners were trooping into his residence to condole with the family members over the tragedy.

EntertainmentI Can Act Unclad Or Sex Movies Only For The Right Price, NOLLYWOOD ACTRESS. by ndala(op): 12:38pm On Feb 04, 2013
Celebrities are often faced with the challenge of ensuring they keep their acts together as fans are quick to give meaning to everything they do.

It is the same for Nollywood actress, Mimi Quaker whom many have concluded is a lesbian because she always keep girls as her Blackberry display pictures. Mimi cleared the air on that in an interview with Vanguard saying the girls people see are the girls she arranges for people…she arranges girls for music videos.

“Most of the directors are my friends and they ask me to bring girls for music videos. So, I organise girls for their videos. All they do is ask me to bring girls with certain specifications and I search for girls with those specifications. Sometimes, I provide nothing less than five girls for a music video and what I do is to get paid from the girls’ payment.” Mimi says she takes up to 40 per cent.

Mimi’s girls have to suit the taste of her clients. She describes her kind of girls. “The shape is the most important feature. The girl must be very curvy with nice skin colour, not necessarily light-skinned and the height doesn’t matter. The type of girls to choose often depends on the director’s specifications. In some instances, the director may require a busty girl, big backside girl or even a slim-waist girl. Generally, a sexy curvy girl passes.”

Mimi was probed again about her sexuality and she said an emphatic no to the lesbian question. In fact, she says she’s in a relationship. She didn’t mention the man’s name and she talked as if he was an imaginary man, so-to-say.

When asked what attracted her to the man she claims to be dating, Mimi answered; “I guess the physique. I also like guys with a good set of teeth. He must also be handsome, tall, well-built and God-fearing.” Draw your inference, people.

Mimi who said she started acting in the easiest of ways said she can take up any role in acting; exposing private parts, sex scenes, etc., after all it’s make-believe.

“It was a bit easy for me. I met Chico Ejiro on Facebook and told him about my intention to go into acting. He invited me for an audition and that was how it all started for me,” she said on how she started acting. Sex scenes, scenes with indecency? Bring them on! Mimi says; “It is only make-believe. You are not actually having sex but making it look like you are having sex.
“Well, if the money is good enough, I will take it. The whole idea is make-believe and getting the job done. It has nothing to do with my person,” Mimi says about showing private parts of her body on screen.

Still a student of Philosophy at the University of Lagos, Mimi Quaker prides herself in the success she’s achieved over the years. She appeared in six music videos in 2012 and was named as one of the top ten video vixens in 2012 by Linda Ikeji.

Mimi has worked with several artistes including KAN, Brymo, Rex, and Terry G. In Nollywood, Mimi’s got herself role models like Mercy Johnson and Genevieve. “I used to like Rita Dominic but not anymore because she has not lived up to my expectation,” Mimi said.

SportsNff Offer Super Eagle 15,000 Pounds To Beat Ivory Coast by ndala(op): 8:55am On Feb 01, 2013
The Nigeria Football Federation members largely see the Sunday match against Cote d’Ivoire as thebiggest obstacle to landing the trophy when the final match is played on February 9.
As the build to the game continues, the NFF officials have reminded the players that they would not go back on their pledged to dole out$15,000 to each player if they are able to beat an Ivorian side inspired by Didier Drogba and AfricanFootballer of the Year Yaya Toure.
The Eagles or Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire will face the winner of the quarter final match between hosts South Africa and Mali at the next stage.
On Thursday, a top NFF official reconfirmed to MTNFootball.comthat the said amount is what the players would receive for their effort.
In Rustenburg on Thursday the Super Eagles officials, though, tried to play down the monetaryoffer insisting they were not “the cash officers forthe team and could therefore not speak on it.” It was learnt that they are acting on past experiences where money matters truncated the dreams of the entire country especially as witnessed in France ’98 World Cup where the Eagles fell to less facied Denmark team after spending the previous night arguing over dollars.
For the semi-finals each player will be $20,000 richer if they triumph and get into the final game. For victory in the championship game on February10 inside the National Stadium in Johannesburg, each player will pocket another $30,000.
Each player received $30,000 after the team defeated Ethiopia and qualified for the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
Team sponsor Guinness has also made a financial commitment for goals scored at the AFCON, while the Eagles are expecting billionaire Aliko Dangote to splash more cash after they reached the last eight. Each player was paid about$80,000 when Nigeria finished third at the 2010 Nations Cup in Angola.
On Thursday team captain Joseph Yobo said the game would be an exciting one for him and as such looking forward eagerly to it.
He said, “They are a great team (Cote d’Ivoire) and so we are and we know ourselves well. And so nobody is afraid of the other. It is just a case of top football giants clashing at the wrong time. I believe we shall be up to it.”

The Abuja Environmental Protection Board, AEPB, will be in charge of removing the prostitutes and destitutes from the streets while their rehabilitation will be handled by Social Development Secretariat.
According to a source from the FCTA, the prostitutes when arrested, will be taken to Lugbe where they will be engaged in vocational training in hairdressing, making of yoghurt, computer training, among others for a minimum period of three months. The programme which commenced last year has already graduated over 1,000 of such persons.
In his lead debate yesterday, Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma- Egba who presented the FCT Statutory Appropriation Bill, 2013 said the total Statutory budget stands at N253,199,752,409, with N48,034,818,410 voted for Personnel costs; N49,504,534,358 for Overhead Costs and the balance of N155,660, 399,641 is for Capital Projects for the service of the Federal Capital Territory commencing from January 1, and endingon December 31, 2013.
According to Senator Ndoma-Egba, another N7.5 billion will be spent in 2013 by the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council, AMMC, where the Departments of Development Control, Parks and Recreation, Facility Management and Urban Affairs belong.
Senate Leader Victor Ndoma-Egba said: “The sum of N4 billion is proposed for the construction of First Lady Mission Building. Also, the sum of N150 million is set aside for the renovation of Vice President’s Guest House in Asokoro.
“The sum of N50.5 billion is proposed for the development of transport sector. Out of this amount, there is a Chinese loan of N44.5 billion for the construction of Abuja 60.37 standard gauge rail track with ancillary facilities.
“The secretariat is saddled with the responsibilityof promoting social activities like sports, arts and culture, tourism, empowerment programmes, rehabilitate prostitutes and destitute, etc in the territory. In 2013, the total sum of N5 billion is earmarked to address some of the social menace within the FCT.
“The sum of N30 billion is earmarked for the provision of infrastructure and services in the education sector in year 2013. This will also cater for the expansion and rehabilitation of Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and Vocational Schools, as well as to provide teaching aid materials. This will improve the quality and standard of education in FCT.
“The sum of N24 billion is proposed for the provision of infrastructural facilities and to complete the on-going projects. N23 billion is for the completion of on-going projects while N470 million is for new projects.”
Senators fault budget, say it’s scandalous
Meanwhile, Senators in their contributions to the budget however faulted some of the provisions, describing the proposed vote of N4 billion in the FCT budget of N253, 199, 752, 409 for First Lady Mission Building as not only scandalous, but an endorsement of illegality against the backdrop that the office does not exist in the 1999 Constitution. They argued that public funds must not be used on a private project of such.
In his remarks, Senate President noted that the government was not getting the priorities right inthe budget as most important things were not paid attention to, even as he urged Senators to ensure that an effective oversight was carried out.
Earlier in his contribution, Deputy Senate Leader Abdul Ningi, PDP, Bauchi Central while leading a strong opposition against the budget said, “N150 million is too much for the renovation of the Vice President’s guest house in Asokoro. How much is the building that it will now gulp N150 million forrenovation?”
Also in his contribution, Vice chairman, Committeeon Federal Character and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Babajide Omoworare, ACN, Osun East who also kicked against the expenditure, said: “I’m worried about the provision of bogus figures, there’s a lot of disconnect. This budget hasn’t shown the reality of what’s happening in and around Abuja. Provision of N4 billion for building a mission office for the First Lady is scandalous.
“The Women Development Centre is there for the First Lady to do anything she wants to do and I’m not aware that there’s a First Ladies Mission office in the United States of America from wherewe copied the Presidential system of government. There is no such building in South Africa and even Ghana that is our next door neighbour.
“N4 billion can be used for a lot of other things. We have not set our priorities right. I’m of the view that the committee should look into this.
“Again, I remember that in this chamber last year,we voted N1 billion only for new federal universities yet we are being asked to appropriate N4 billion for an office that’s alien to the Constitution.”
Also in his remark, Vice chairman, Committee on Establishment and Public Service Committee, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, ACN, Ekiti Central, who was also not happy with some proposals of the FCT Budget, said: “I’m worried and I hope that those of us who are leaders in this country do not take the youths for granted. How can we vote N4 billion for the office of the First Lady? I just pray and hope that this doesn’t get to the public because if it does, we are in trouble.
“How can you appropriate money for an office that’s not known to the Constitution?”
Speaking further, Senate President Mark urged the Senator Bala Mohammed-led administration to set its priorities in the budget right, rather thanstart projects that would not be 90 per cent completed at the end of every fiscal year.
He said: “You’ve all made very valid contributions.I think the main problem with the budget is getting our priorities right. Some issues have come to the forefront that shouldn’t come to the forefront. I’m wary of completing some projects haphazard.”
