I am not an Arsenal fan but I am a student of the history of football. When I started watching football it was only 2 points for a win. The defenders could back pass the ball to the goalkeeper and he could catch the ball with his hands. There were only two substitutes allowed per team in a game. Referees wore black jerseys. All football boots were black coloured. There was no VAR. The Referees were fair but did not blow the whistle every time a player went down at the slightest contact. So for you who probably started watching football in the year 2000 to say I know nothing about football is a gross insult.
So when I tell you Arteta is an average coach and Arsenal will win nothing with him going forwards. Take it from me I know what I am talking about. Arteta is not even on the level of coaches like Iraola at Bournemouth or Hansi Flick at Barcelona or Xabi Alonso at Leverkusen not to talk of master coaches like Zidane,Mourinho,Klopp or Guardiola.

Please stop blabbing. Any serious football fan knows Arsenal do not have the quality to win the league but this things happen sometimes especially with a good coach and belief amongst the players. Example is in the case of Leicester that year. Even this Arsenal almost won it last year and everyone is still seeing them as a contender ahead of Chelsea and United this year. It takes a quality coach to parade average player like Arsenal's and still make them a top team.

First off you are an Arsenal fan. There is no need to hide behind United to get your message across.

Now to Arteta. Arteta is a very average coach. The alleged FA cup he won in 2020 was won with Unai Emery and Freddie Lunjberg's teams because Lunjberg was the interim coach after Emery was sacked.
The reason you Arsenal fans feel that Arteta is a good coach is because the standard at Arsenal has dropped so low since Wenger left that any form of light appears to be day time to Arsenal fans but you are free to hope.
Yesterday Arteta had Partey playing at full back in a system only he could comprehend.
If some of you were alive to witness George Graham's Arsenal teams in the 80s that went toe to toe with Liverpool and won the old first division in 1989 at Anfield you would understand what I am talking about. I suggest you goggle it on YouTube then come back and tell me Arteta is not an average coach.
The best of Arteta's teams of the last two seasons could not lace the shoe laces of the best of Wenger or Grahams teams.
So you Arsenal fans can hope all you want but I assure you you are going home empty and without a trophy this season as long as Arteta remains your manager.

You sound more like an Arsenal fan to me...You guys need to appreciate what Arteta is doing with the average players in that team. Hire Guardiola and he wont do better. Same thing I used tell my husband who used to be a die hard gunner. I don't understand what you meant by "insult" though

I don't hate Arsenal. In fact under Arsene Wenger and George Graham I liked the kind of football they played.
However you and I know that because of the poor state of the team since Wenger left the standards have dropped and that is the reason you think Arteta is a good coach. Arteta is actually average although when compared to his contemporaries like Lampard,Rooney,Scholes,and maybe Gerrard he looks a decent coach.
However when you compare Arteta to a very decent coach like Flick at Barcelona,Iraola at Bournemouth and Alonso at Leverkusen or even Tuchel you realise that Arteta is an average ordinary coach.
In fact once Arteta comes up against a cerebral coach in any tournament this year I guarantee you that 9 times out of 10 Arsenal will be found out and they will lose. This is why I am so confident that Arsenal will not win anything with Arteta this season but you as a fan are entitled to hope.

You know nothing about football. As a united fan and having followed English premiership over the years, I respect what Arteta is doing at Arsenal with the bunch of average players.

You want to pour 40k pounds into a Nigerian bank? I left more than NGN8 million in heritage bank before relocating abroad and now that the bank has collapsed, i doubt if i will ever get that money back. If all you depend on is to save 40k pound abroad and relocate to Nigeria to fix it in a commercial bank , you might regret it.
