Seun:We are fighing Boko Haram for invading our territories and we are supposed to allow another country to violate our territorial integrity because that country is fighting Boko Haram? It does not add up for me. I think the President could have protested the invasion of Nigeria by Chad without making it appear as if he supports Boko Haram. That is what his diplomatic core is paid to do - help him with appropriate speeches to deal with the situation without appearing weak. If GEJ was informed before the invasion, he should have informed the country after the fact. An address to the nation would have been appropriate. In my humble opinion there is nothing Presidential about GEJ's response to the Chad invasion. We are not in a millitary dictatorship and the President serves the citizens and owes us an explanation on why our territory was invaded by a foreign country. Silence is not the best response in this case. |
Seun:No sane leader will make such a protest in secret. That's another sign of cluelessness and lack of leadership. Your country was invaded by a foreign country (essentially an act of war) and the President does not condemn the act publicly or demand an apology - what signal does that send to other countries? |
mikeansy:If I am wrong, I'll treat you to a fully paid outing in Nicon Hilton, Abuja in March. |
mikeansy:Security is more important to most Nigerians and it trumps Economic or infrastructural gains. No foreign country has ever carried out millitary operations in our territory, but Chad did that with impunity without any protest form GEJ. BH continues to capture territories not to talk of our children and girls. None of these happened during the leadership of any past leader in Nigeria. For this reason alone, I cannot vote for GEJ. He has brought too much shame to our land. |
anonimi:Some people are just as lazy as GEJ himself, but here are a few: President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Deserves Credit In Some Major Fronts GEJ and Almajiri Schools Derivation On Solid Minerals |
mikeansy:The will of the people is to replace GEJ with anyone, anything!! shi kena |
DevilishKiller:No need to dignify a man who insults a whole nation by not producing the report with a debate. GEJ's days of appearing Presidential are over. Buhari will do nothing to embellish GEJ's sorry image. The game is up. |
This man makes the case of mandatory contraceptives. |
chukwudi44:Oga, I was a card carrying member of the PDP. I have opened many threads in the past where I highlighted what I thought were great strides by GEJ, i.e. until the man became the emblem of corruption. |
mikeansy:The truth is Buhari will not give GEJ an inch in competitive advantage. Nigerians already have enough on GEJ to vote him out, he's had 6 years to prove himself. Under normal conditions, GEJ should not need a 1hr debate to sell himself to Nigerians. GEJ will win the hearts of Nigerians if he releases the audit report on the missing $20 - $65 billion - let's debate the report. |
As a card carrying member of the PDP pre 2011, though I did not support GEJ's candidacy because of the way he emerged as the PDP flagbearer, I was willing to give GEJ the benefit of the doubt. If he had performed, this election should have been a cake walk for him. The sad truth is that, GEJ's accomplishments are not enough to win this 2015 elections, he has squandered the goodwill he enjoyed among Nigerian people. He is now a desperate man looking to score cheap points during a debate. GEJ is already a goner and should not be dignified with a debate. Produce the audit report about the missing $20 - $65billion, depending on who you believe, and lets debate that. |
I feel great pity for political jobbers like Omokri who continue to be in denial and do not understand that the game is up. The jobbers continue to bury their heads in the sand like this Wild Camel (rakumin Dajij) or the Ostrich. Buhari mu ke so, ba mu so hanni. Kudos to thousands of youths who joined the Army to successfully repel this attack. Many of these youths are unemployed, I wonder why they can't simply be absorbed as recruits into the army, properly trained and turned into gallant soldiers. |

This is not good. Islamist extrmsts are currently attacking Maiduguri from 4 fronts. May Allah protect our boys from the lack of resolve of the commander-in-chief and his thieving Generals. |
You can remove the African from the bush but you can never remove the bush and bushmanism from the African. ![]() |
I've always assumed that GEJ's drinking is baseless rumour. Is he truly a alcoholic? If so, a medical intervention rather than mockery is appropriate. |
Chelsea wins today and the Premiership title is theirs. City should now fully understand Toure's worth to the team - the boy's Salary should be doubled. |
Sir, Tinubu, without a doubt, you contributed to the emergence of Buhari and Osinbajo as APC flagbearers. For that we are eternally grateful. The fact remains, however, that Nigerians would never vote for any ticket which lists you as one of its candidates, be it Presidential or vice Presidential. True or false, the perception of Nigerians is that you have been enriching yourself at the expence of Lagos state and that you are an ex drug pusher. Please stop feeding us the crap that you gave up your Presidential ambition for Buhari. The truth is, that ambition was dead on arrival - abi why do you think the SW Governors refused to support you for the VP slot? |

lol. A secondary school student could come up with that pdf file. mumus |
Excellent idea. PDP is trying to use the debate as a last ditch effort to save its sinking ship! Mba!! There is no need to help the clueless one: Sebi he debated himself on national TV in 2011. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. ![]() |
King Sanusi of Kano vindicated once again. Iweala don blow breeze fowl yansh open gbagada! |
ngwanu, what is your new name? Bastard? |
Instead of opening threads and running away, why don't you accept the open challenge to debate Barcanista? |
@Op, they will run away from a real debate much like the clueless one did pre 2011 elections, when he debated himself on national TV. |
Never heard of this Agendang.com but it looks like the authorities here on nairaland have complete faith in the outfit. smh |
