Am asking because I wanna know if marrying her will be the only way that's not a problem but she's scared coming to Nigeria that's why we met in South Africa were I reside and I came to Nigeria when she put to birth.
Since she don't wanna come to Nigeria were would you think will be the best place to get married to her.
What about getting married when I get there I really don't understand how this this things runs she's scared of coming thinking my baby will be taken away from her here lol

She can come without the baby and marry you here then go back and start paperwork.

I don't understand how two people will be in love and you don't want to go to his country even if it just to see his face when every evening I'm outside the gate waiting for my lover to return from work.

If he travels just for one night I will not be able to sleep till he comes back. Forgive me, I don't understand how long distance works angry

This is a HUGE lie!! Please top misleading people, ha!! shocked even if the wife is not working as long as his mother-in-law works and meets the income requirement (125% of the normal income requirements) and which in this case as a family of four is $30,750. She can sign the papers and act as the co-sponsor for his immigrant visa.
The wife will fill out an Affidavit of support as the primary petitioner while the mother needs to fill out an Affidavit of Support as a Joint Sponsor. This does not in ANY WAY affect his chance of being approved for an immigrant visa AT ALL!!!. I have seen several people go this route and they have all gotten their Green Cards and subsequently US Citizenship after 3 years.

Thank you oooo!

Hi VO,

I've been wondering about something.

Can someone open a business office in US on a B1 business visa, hire staff to man the office and oversee from a remote location?

Oh I see so once we married the mother can help file for me to come over can we get married in any country or just Nigeria I really know a lot I was thinking of going to Mexico so we can get married there and come back to Nigeria as she don't like to come to Nigeria

Marriage is marriage anywhere. Just get married and take pictures. Why is she afraid of coming to Nigeria? You can get married in Dubai. It's closer and easier to access

Thanks but remember I said she's not working but the mother does can she file for me using the mother statement of account
Can she file for a visit visa for through an immigration lawyer? As the fiancé visa takes time like a year plus and will it be possible as she has not come to Nigeria before thank you

If you are married to her, I think her mother can.

Visit visa is a tall order knowing you are an immigration risk.

She should come over and marry you then file for you

Health / Re: Blood Is Coming Out Of My Nose Instead Of Mucus by nefertitiram: 10:42am On Jul 11, 2017
moscobabs:
Doctors in the house pls I need urgent attention if your.

The only sickness u have is catarrh and it comes once in a year it actually take nothing less than 3 weeks in my body whether I take drugs or not

It started last 2 weeks and I visited hospital because it was very serious .doctor gave me some drugs which I take for almost one week it actually relieved me but the mucus always come out thick which Is the sign that the catarrh is about to leave my body

On Sunday evening when I wanted to remove mucus from my nose I discovered that it was mixed with blood my though was that I have wound in the nose but it got worse yesterday morning when thick blood always coming out without the mucus whenever I want to blow my nose till yesterday evening but I didn't take it serious.

But this morning own is serious when I started experiencing the same.

Pls is this normal Sirs and Mas? Or I need urgent medical attention?

Thanks you

As long as you are not bleeding from the nose profusely... but seek 2nd opinion from another doctor. Perhaps u should stop blowing your nose, the force of blowing keeps rupturing a burst vessel in there. Let it heal

Gbam! You have said it all, nothing to add.
To further test the waters, those interested in using birthing centers can apply for medical visa and tell VO during interview that they plans to use birthing centre, lets see if they will get the visa.

We learn everyday. We can learn from their experiences grin

that answer holds they kkey to understanding why,but DH is meant to file for you

Gbam
I guess if she had started the IV process and requested for this NIV, it may have worked in her favour.

Filing can take a long time though, and the hubby has to meet a certain income threshold to be able to file for her. The process is long and capital intensive

From what I understand, birthing centre are very cheap and from my little understanding, no VO would grant you a visa for using one as they expect you to come spend good money in their country and a birth centre is the opposite of that.

Lets now assume you got the visa and you use the birthing center, should there be any complications you would be taken to the affiliate hospital where you would treated as an emergency patient and you'd have to pay from your nose as that wont come cheap.

And during dropbox-a process of renewing your visa when it expires, you may be lucky not to be asked for the receipt of payment at your child's' birthing. When you present a birthing center receipt, they'd just refuse you.

My explanation may not be clear enough as i hope veterans here would have cleared it out for you.

Well written and succinctly put

For once, I agree with you tongue

Hello every one am new here and have been reading on post by people here I have a serious problem have been trying to sort out.
I have an American woman we met online 2015 and we have been talking till we finally met in South Africa were she came to visit me as she was afraid of coming to Nigeria she got pregnant and went back to America and have a baby girl for me she don't work but the mother does of my baby mama is very okay.
I really don't know how she can bring me to America she was the main reason I left South Africa please I need your advice concerning this whole issue.
What is the best way for me to go to America to see her as i have never tried America visa before thank you please any one with good ideal can watsapp me +27835588702

You have many options

She can come to Nigeria so that you guys can get married and you apply for spousal visa. Then reach there and apply for citizenship after 5 yrs or less since a child is involved

She can help you file for fiance visa so that you can go there and marry her

You can wait till your baby is 21 years and working so that she can file for you

All of them can come to Nigeria and all of you can live happily ever after

Atleast it is not for you to tell whether he will be banned or not in this regards allow the VO do that, let him attempt to revisit then renew then the he will know his true fate

See how you just fall my hand angry

There is actually a solution but I wanted you to tell us the answer.

As you have said he is not totally banned.

If he has overstayed less than 6mths, he can beg for forgiveness but this is a tall hurdle to cross.

If he has overstayed less than 1 yr BT more than 6mths and leaves voluntarily he is automatically banned for 3yrs.

More than 1 yr and leaves voluntarily it is 10yrs ban.

If he faced deportation or was smuggled in, it may be a lifetime ban.

But in the case of the OP's brother that wants to go and bring his wife and kids, after overstaying his i94, this may be his fate, emphasis on the word AUTOMATICALLY

Hello house, i have a feeling that mentioning sanctuary cities as destination in the US raises the VO's eye brow. this may not be 100% accurate though but can we pay attention and have a reasonable observation.

All popular cities in USA are sanctuary cities, NY, Chicago, San Francisco, Ohio. It doesnt matter anymore though grin, there is a new sherriff in town.

Your strongest tie is in the US, your husband, even if you intend to come back to Nigeria after childbirth, the VO is bound by law to assume that you have migrant intent - basically tell your husband to apply for you to join him in the US, as the VO codedly tells in his question.

"Vo: where's your husband
Me:He resides in the US
Vo: why is he not filing for you"

My thoughts exactly

I used a birth center for my first delivery. It did not affect my 2 renewals at all. You don't do it for free, you've only pay a cheaper bill. Using there health care for free is the problem.

That must have been a while ago. Recently it has become an issue, esp in Abuja

VO: What do you for a living?

Wife: I am the owner of ...... clothing line

VO: How many staff

Wife: 3 staffs

Vo: I am sorry you are not eligible.

*House please where do you think the issue came up?
*How soon can she 're apply?

Hello All,

Thanks for the information and support. My journey ends here. Just some tips based on my wife second US birthing experience
1. You need two valid means of identifications(preferably driver's licence & international passport) to process and collect US docs(Birth certificate,US Passport). My wife licence expired before she traveled and she forgot this requirement so it was not as straightforward as her first experience. Alternatively, you can use work ID or any US resident to identify you.

2. Visa on Arrival is way cheaper and hassle free than it is made to look(the only cheaper option on the long run is if you are in atlanta and go for the baby nigerian passport). Just send a mail to oa@nigeriaimmigration.gov.ng requesting for one using the format shared previously on the forum and you would be responded to early enough. in my case,I got a response the same day and please do it yourself and dont pay any processing money. You only need to pay the actual application fee to immigration which can be made on arrival($180 using card and $190 using cash though. Surprisingly,my wife mentioned they did not even look at any letter at Lagos Airport to give our baby the visa. Note that houston immigration requested to sight the actual email so you may want to keep your phone and email handy to avoid complications

Am always available on PM to assist with any further information.Good luck to all expecting mums and Dads. God Bless

For number 1. You got it slightly wrong. Your US visa affixed to your passport suffices as a second means of Id. The county person wanted to sell me the sour grapes of getting a second means of id till I showed him his own requirement list where a valid us visa suffices. So that person just stressed your wifey for nothing. Lolz

Modified: in fact only 1 means of id suffices in the instances below and foreign passport is allowed as the only means! Lolz;
