Stegomiah: Gov Akpabio Bags Best Governor In Africa Award
Akwa Ibom State governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio, has bagged the best Governor in Africa Award from an Accra-based Africa Development Magazine, for his development strides in the state.

Presenting the award in Accra, Ghana, renowned Ghanaian Professor, Walter Alhassan, described Governor Akpabio as an icon of democracy and a good example of what leadership should represent.
He said that available and verifiable facts singled out Chief Akpabio as a pride of Africa, worthy of emulation.
Speaking on behalf of the organisers, Soma Brown recounted the numerous achievements of the Akpabio administration in Akwa Ibom State, but particularly noted the free, compulsory and qualitative education policy; free medical care for pregnant women, children and the aged; and the massive infrastructural investment as key reasons for the award conferred on Governor Akpabio.
Receiving the award, Governor Akpabio, represented by his Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr. Aniekan Umanah, thanked the magazine for considering him for the global honour.

get some real ogbono from the igbo traders. they are lightish brown or brownish without the dustlike stuff. Also, dont cover the pot when u add ur ogbono, allow to cook for some minutes, add ur nxt ingredient. Just learnt this from an elderly woman. Helps make d ogbono draw wella. |

simdam500: An ideal woman, a girl friend or a life partner must exude confidence. Gone are the days when men crave for anopportunity to be a knight in shining armor. They don’t like weaklings or delicate darlings, but smart, street intelligent and confident women who know what they are doing and what needs tobe done. A confident woman is determined and head strong, and it’s what guys look for beyond looks or sex appeal. Here are 6 reasons why men like confident women.
1. Confident women are decision makers A confident woman who takesdecisions on her own alwaysattracts a man. A man doesn’t like if a woman always depends on him for making any small or big decisions, he would respect and appreciate her if she takes advice, but listens to what her mind and heart says and make decisions in life.
2. Confident women have a great personality Confidence is a factor that always adds on to a person’s personality. It creates a certain charm about the person. A confident woman would carryherself with grace and style. With confidence a woman looks charming and strong, and this really attracts men.
3. Confident women are independent and single minded Confident women don’t need constant support and assurance; they handle themselves and their lives the way they want. So men are attracted to confident woman because they know they wouldn’t have the constant pressure to give their support to her.
4. Confident women are courageous and fearless Confident women stand up for what they believe in, they don’t get pressurized by anyone. They know what they want and they work towards it. The fearless and courageous behavior that comes with confidence always attract men.
5. Confident women make great life partners It’s easy to date, but when itcomes to marriage, starting a family and having children, women require to multitask, make decisions on their toes, when husbands are not around, step into his shoes and manage things efficiently. In order to be able to do this, men know that they need someone whois confident and will not crumble under pressure.
6. Confident women extend support Confident women make reliable people. Men also need a shoulder to cry on and if they have a problem, they know that they can onlycount on women who are strong and confident.

Family › Re: Today Is International Women's Day: Respect To All Women!! by Nellyd(f): 12:26pm On Mar 08, 2013 |
Emperoh: Today we celebrate an aspect of humanity which has helped to make perfect, God’s work of creation. Today we celebrate women, helpers, home makers, leaders, motivators, supporters, movers and shakers and those whose comforting words have made our earthly existence better. But specially, my heart and warm greetings go out to those who have been victims of violence, molestation, sexual harassment and any form of degradation or discrimination. It is my fervent prayer that the society becomes less accommodating to issues of feminine abuse.
May all men on this day accord their wives, daughters, sisters, aunties etc the needed respect. Acknowledge their effort at making the world a complete place, at making your homes peaceful and full of love. It is also my fervent prayer that God should also bless us with the best that womanhood has to offer. They are beautiful, they are warm, they are homely, and they are women!
Let us all condemn rape, sexual harassment, paedophilia discrimination or any form of violent action against women. They deserve all the respect they can get, they deserve all the love we can muster, they deserve the best that we men also enjoy. To all the women in my life; my mother, my lovely sisters, my cousins, colleagues and all my female friends, you all deserve the best. Happy international women’s day!! . I love this. Thanks op. The female gender is a blessed gender. I love you all nairaland women. |

mitwitdot: The nature of ur interview depends on the vacancy you are applying to fill...if they are many applicants, the interview is usually coducted in groups and basic interview/bank questions asked. I'm guessing it's a direct sale vacancy, for that, you need to prove to them you have what it takes to sell thier products and increase thier customer base. Thank you sir. God bless. |
