Why bother praying to the same god that couldn't save them in the first place?

Because this God does not force himself or decisions on people while they have a freewill and are still on earth. This is why this God demands that people pray to him first before he steps in to help them. This is why this God hates sin, but has not come down from heaven to force you to accept Christ as your saviour. This is why when this God saw you about to commit fornication with your girlfriend, He did not come down from heaven to stop you from committing that sin which He already knows is destructive to your soul. This is why this God judges people at the end of their life because all the while they were alive on earth, they had a freewill to please Him and follow his way or not, so whatever decision humans make on earth, God is just for punishing or rewarding us at the end of life.

This is also why this God has not come down from heaven to slap your mouth all the while you have been insulting him, because he has given you a freewill to decide what you want to do on earth.....but you will be held accountable for your choices at the end of your life. Only Jesus can save you if you so wish

First of all, Jesus did not come to earth to become wealthy. As a matter of fact, if you were used to studying your bible, you would have seen where Apostle Paul was writing about Jesus and he said "....for He(Jesus) became poor, that through His poverty we might be made rich". The same bible said through His stripes and suffering we might be healed. But don't worry, I know you are as ignorant as a bible illiterate and the bible you know comes from your ignorant mentor Daddy freeze.

Secondly, Jesus did not hold any official position in the synagogue, so he was not tasked with collection of tithes and offerings. What scripture said was for the tithes and offerings to be taken to the house of God and be received by the Levites/Priests there. Jesus never assumed any official role in the temple, so there is no way he could have been collecting tithes.

Thirdly, even though Jesus was not officially involved in the direct collection of tithes and offerings, yet he was very interested in knowing what people were giving. Otherwise, explain to me how Jesus knew about the Widow's mite. Explain how Jesus was able to compare what that widow gave with what every other person came to give if he wasn't watching everybody giving? Or have you forgotten that Jesus publicly declared that the Widow was the highest giver because she gave everything she had as offering even though she was poor?

If Jesus hated the idea of tithes and offering like Fraudsters such as daddy freeze would make us believe, then explain to me why Jesus did not rebuke the poor widow who gave all her money as offering? By your standards, Jesus should have called her aside and reminded her that she doesn't have much and as such should not be giving the very little she has as offering, and then told her to go back and collect her last money she dropped as offering so she will have something to buy food when she gets home. And on top of that, Jesus should have also even given her money as well to go home. Isn't it? But rather, Jesus accepted the poor widow's last money as offering and even praised her for it!! When I tell you that you don't know Jesus, you will think I'm insulting you now

Lastly, I am not a member of Pastor Iginla's church and I have never visited his church before, but in my church I pay tithes and I give offerings, and not you or 1000000daddy freezes can make me stop. Even if I find out today that my pastor has backslided and is now using all the tithes we pay in church to carry women, it will still not make me stop paying tithe, I will instead change church and continue paying my tithe to the new church where I know the pastor is still born again

Guy, I have experienced very similar things with people I "trusted" many times including people I've helped, but still it doesn't make me believe all human beings are like that. Maybe 95% of human beings are like that, but it can never be 100% of human beings because YOU CANNOT BE A GENUINE CHRISTIAN AND TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT. This is why I have come to learn that only people who GENUINELY love Christ can love you under all conditions. And I don't mean the average hypocrites we have parading in many churches as Christians. That somebody answers pastor does not make him/her a GENUINE Christian. It comes from an inward transformation of a person's character based on the person's deep understanding of God. People in church have duped me before, but at the same time I have still met a few other genuine Christians in church that have done a lot for me, including what my own father wouldn't do for me. Bottom line is this: Never put your trust/hope in man, put your trust in God and follow Christ GENUINELY, and one day you will attract like-minded people who understand what it means to love your neighbour as yourself.

Yes, we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. However, this is not a repentant confession. He was arrogant and very "unholy" in his statement. No apologies to his congregation, passing the buck and blame is not honorable. And yes, it is only God that forgives.

Are you God that forgives sin? Did you enter his heart to know if he has 'truly' repented or not? Why don't you leave the issue of forgiveness to God and his church members, afterall it wasn't you he sinned against. Come down from your high horse and stop playing God. Otherwise, this man did not originally set out to pursue another woman for no just cause. Secondly, why would his wife decide to go and live in another country away from her husband for many years and leave him alone here in Nigeria??
