please does anyone here have an idea what the 2nd line means. It’s says my statement of result or degree certificate have not been received. Whereas my school had sent that? Does anyone know what this implies. Please help

P.s I had a diplploma in Bus admin and later on moved to continue my bsc in bus admin too. The diploma one has no issue except from the fact that they are waiting for my institution to Get back to them for verification.

Good afternoon ladies

Baby girl arrived on the 3rd of January 2018 at Houston Northwest Medical Center through vaginal delivery.
Breakdown of cost:
Dr Xydas: 2000
Hospital: 2000
Induction: 200*
Stress test: 200*
Epidural: 650*
Hospital peadiatrician: 675 (the normal fee is much higher, this is the The Healthy Baby Package rate)
Pathology: 97 (after discount)
Peadiatrician(after discharge): 75
Birth certificate: 75 (plus delivery charge)
Passport: 160 (expedited)
Visa on arrival 190
*these are optional

I got baby's birth certificate 18 days after birth, 22/1; it was delayed cos of the adverse weather. It's 23 per copy but I paid 75 because I ordered it online (http://houstontx.gov/health/BirthCert/) and it was delivered to me next business day. To save time, I booked my appointment at the passport agency while waiting for the birth certificate. I booked two appointments actually, with different email addresses just in case [(https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/apply-renew-passport/hurry.html)
When booking the appointment, it's important to indicate that you need the passport same day in order to obtain a visa. After I got the birth certificate, I went for the passport interview the next day, 23/1. My husband wasn't present for the interview, but he was around for the baby's birth so we notarised in the US. If your husband isn't coming to the US, it's best to notarise the document at the US embassy before travelling to the US, notarising at a Nigerian notary public is no longer accepted. I got the US passport same day and sent the email for visa on arrival that night, got approval on Thursday 25/1 (https://immigration.gov.ng/visa-on-arrival/) and travelled on Monday 29/1 via Lufthansa. I had called Lufthansa customer care a day earlier to book a bassinet seat.
I got to Lagos on the 30th, straight to visa on arrival office, presented the approval and other docs, filled a form, paid the fee and baby was stamped in for a month.

NB: Got the Social security number in less than 2 weeks

Thanks to everyone for sharing info on this thread, God bless you all mightily!. To God be the glory!

Hi Adedoyin,

Thank you for sharing on this post..

Please I will need further guidance from you on the doctors email and phone no. I can't get through to them via their website.

Please can you accept my request to send an email for further enquiries?

I will appreciate your feedback. I will also like to know what the budget is like for accommodation, proximity to hospital and shopping centres around so as to save cost.

Warm Regards

bossmini84: Men I wished I had faith like U oo. I dnt have a single atom of faith infact I think 0god does not like me oo. So I hv been alone have not even gone to church this year.

You don't have to loose faith, when there's life, there is hope.. God loves you and he has promised that he will not deny anything you ask of him so long as remain faithful to him and do what is right. If you find yourself going in the wrong direction, ask him to bring you back to order. Pls don't give up on going to church just becos things aren't working for you, just the way u have planned it, as a matter of fact, he has better plans for you, but ur yet to see it becos ur allowing the devil tamper with your christian faith..keep praying and don't give up

CBNIM: Sometimes I wonder if this prayer actually works and sometimes I seriously doubt it's efficacy. Because I have seen some one who has been living a good and morally decent life, and maintained a very good personal relationship with God and yet I can't see any improvement nor progress in her life.

Unfortunately, this sister has been praying for a good job back when we were still in uni sef and till today she is still jobless. and her marriage is also in a shambles. Seeing her condition makes me doubt the very notion that God is all merciful, cares for His own shit, blah blah blah. Or maybe He loves and favors some and hates some and will never help them no matter how bad you need his help, pray or how terrible and pathetic their condition is. Otherwise, I don't see why this all merciful God would allow her to suffer this much, nor stand and watch her situation degenerate to what I'm seeing in her life upon all the trust and faith she had put in him all these years. Sometimes I feel for her and feels there is something I could do to salvage her situation sha.
One just need to do his or her best and hope for the best.

Op, congrats dear.

Do you want to know the truth, without a contrite heart and faith, then that prayer must be a waste.. The bible says faith without actions is useless, I believe that as a individual we should always speak positively and most of all rely on God for direction and assistance.. As a christian, I had doubts in the first few months of staying at home, cos I had failed almost all the interview test I had written, is it total, is it sahara? Is it guiness? Is it pwc and so on.. The truth we don't know as human beings is that God has designed the places we are destined to be in... He will do it in a way that u yourself won't believe.. See my dear, I am no prayer warrior or neither a very religious person, but I can promise you that my situation was a test of faith that brought me closer to God more than ever.. I hardly know how to pray, but each time I do, I tell him that I can't speak those biblical grammars much, but becos I know he sees my heart and knows what I desire, let him take control of my situation.
In your friend's case, she hasn't seen it all, God isn't done with her yet...I bet u that as soon as she retraces her step, becos she could be religious and all, but does her christainity portray in her everyday life and in her actions, if not let her ask God for strength and grace to act the way he wants her to... I believe in the end her testimoy would be more than a lorry full... Trust in God my dear and don't give up on him just yet.. It may seem like forever but if only u know the bag of goodies he has in store for you or your friend.
In addition to all the talk about her suffering, do you know that no matter how merciful our God is, he puts us through some difficult situation or hardships in other for us to come back to him... Yes he loves us unconditionally, but my dear, the truth is that some of us become too relaxed that we abandon him thinking we have seen it all.. Most religious/spiritual people u find out there are as a result of one "big situation" they found themselves in that must have brought them back and much closer to God... If we don't suffer as human beings on earth, how then would we value God or even know about his existence? Think about it again, God loves us all equally.

Thank you every one for the congratulatory msgs... To all those who are currently going through what I passed through, just keep ur faith strong, pray always and also use ur tongue to prophesy positive things for yourself, u will be amazed how it will come to you.. Before the results came out cos we were 10 invited for the position, and I had barely less than 2yrs experience, while others had like 3-4 or even more... And ofcourse I was the youngest, seeing all others with that much experience scared me but I kept telling my self" I declare that by faith, I am the best candidate for this job, I declare that I am the chosen one, and funnily I was the first and only one to be called for the job...lol...God's miracle shut me up for through out one week,....its funny how we can't see him, yet he listens and knows our hearts more than we do...

Jobs/Vacancies / How My Faith & Prayers Helped Me Get A Very Good Job Through Nairaland Forum by Neni90: 8:03am On Sep 19, 2014
The worst fear most unhappy workers have is the fear of resigning! I used to work at a real estate company as a business development exec. Where I was also being paid peanuts (farmer salary). The system didn't work out for me so much that I started getting demotivated, I didn't forsee any growth opportunities for me there and one particular day when I couldn't handle it any more, I handed over my resignation letter. Thank God for his mercies and of course my plan B which was a long list of goals I had written down before I thought of resigning.. I left my previous company in June, and came back home as a jobless and die hard job hunter.
I started visitng the nairaland forum daily, and of course I mean day and night. Luckily for me I found one random company advert on the forum, no one had commentend on it and it was quite heard I had never heard about the company for once in my life.. Little did I know this company actually existed and funnily it was one big multinational company when I googled them! I applied in july and it almost felt like a long wait cos they called me in for interview in the middle of August... And now I am an official employee of the company. From june to september , that was how long I waited till I landed my dream job and I feel like I have just achieved my first goal.. God has been so faithful to me during my tough period cos I barely had much savings to see me through the period of my job hunt.. And as a catholic, I relied so much on holycommunion and my divine mercy prayers of 9days.. Luckily for me on the 6th days at the hour of 3pm which is the time when the prayer is being said, that was I got the call from the general manager that I was suCcessful... That day remains the begining of my journery to more goals ahead.

The moral lesson of the story is that as job seekers, we tend to over look some job ads simply becos we don't know about the company or their existence, the best thing to do in such cases, is make google your friend and be a risk taker. You never can tell where ur luck hides.. Now I can proudly say I earn a 6figure salary with an official car compared to my former company when I was earning just a meagre 5figured salary with my leggediz benz under the daily sun lol...

God is truly great, he listens to his faithful children and never abandons them when they call..

Thank you

Hey, to all those asking what test was written, just read ur maths and english...its relatively simple, its just time limited. 20mins for 25 questions maths n. English. English, nothing difficult, if u speak good english on a normal day and if u are familiar with big dictonaries words, then that shld be muffins" or a slice of cake for you... One one question that had to do with logical reasoning the one that has shapes.. Then for the essay, make it simple and precise as much as u can, and be very conscious of your grammars, punctuation marks and paragraphs, cos am pretty sure that's the major thing they will be looking out for.. If u wana know what topic I chose, I wrote a topic on "My Role mode", who a role model is and why I chose her...I chose hon. Mrs abike dabiri sha... Just be smart abt the essay par, make sure u handwriting is clear and easy to read, use good words and indicate paragraphs where necessary... I hope this helps for those who have hopes abt writing another test...goodluck!!

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Mansard Test Invite by Neni90: 12:10am On Aug 17, 2014
Its very evident that the reason why most people fail is the inability to listen to instructions, understand and answer correctly! I laughed when I finished my essay of barely half a page and looked around to see my fellow colleagues turning over to the next page to continue the essay even when it was clearly written above the essay sheet that you are to write an essay of not more than a page! I had to ask the guy beside me if it was a proposal letter we were asked to write or what! It shocked me to the extent that I even asked again if I was to write "thank you" at the end of the essay! Lol...maybe it could have been that I equally don't understand simple english!..hey before u all go on here to criticise me, am not saying that those that wrote more than a page are bound to fail, I just couldn't help but mention it here cos I was highly amused by what went on that day and thought to make a joke out of it especially for those that were unfortunate to write the test.

@kachibarbie... I asked becos I want to verify and also because currently I still live in the world of unreasonable marketing targets! Besides the guy who said its actually 200 they pay is almost right.. Others who work there confirmed that their entry level pay falls within that range and maybe after tax it comes down to 180..
To all others asking me to forward the message I received via email, the bad news is that Mine was sent via text message and not via email. If I should start sending this text message to evryone asking, it would cost me my money and time and that means it requires me sending this email to everyone via text which is a long thing.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Mansard Test Invite by Neni90: 7:42am On Aug 11, 2014
Hi, I also received a text from them, but mine is for 2pm...who knows exactly what test format given and also what's their pay like.. Also would like to know what their entry level positions are cos I wld hate to fall in marketing or sales. undecided
