dot_man:Was your emergency for Lagos or Abuja? |
@gel03 , I tire for them too oh. Got a surprise rejection from U of S (my preferred school) last week after several months of waiting for a decision. I guess I underestimated the importance of this supervisor thingy cos besides that and GRE, I though my app was good enough to get me in. I just hope I get into Memorial cos the signs am see ain't good at all. Here's wishing all the remaining Fall 2011 admission hopefuls all the best! |

buchy321:@buchy321 Amen!!! I guess you're already settling into the system well. I have a few questions I'd like to ask you off-topic. Could u please contact me via: <MyNairalandUsername>@yahoo(dot)com. Thanks |
@ Superbrain , thank you very much for taking your time to pour out the details. But do you think a 2010 winter admission would be acceptable? I don't think I can get an offer before the August 30th deadline. What do u think? |
buchy321:Hi Buchy321, nice to know ur heading to USask. I am planning to apply there for Fall 2011. Did u write GRE/Toefl? Did ur offer include any form of funding? I really hope you don't mind my asking; I just need to prepare adequately and weigh my options carefully. Thanks. |
OjaP:Could you please throw more light on this? I've been to the site but can't find anything about it. |
winneijay:You really do not need ADM100, its already included in TADM10. Read the course overview and you'll realise this. |
winneijay:Glad I could be of help. |
winneijay:I did my TERP10 at UNN. I think the next TERP10 class will start May 3rd. Visit the UNN website (www.unn.edu.ng) for details. As regards the materials, you've got mail! |
Having followed this thread 'religiously' for the past few months, I must confess I have gained so much from the wealth of information herein. Thanks to you guys, I took the bold step, started my SAP journey last month and I have now obtained the TERP10 certification which has increased my understanding of the different modules and how they are used for integration of business processes. Due to my IT background, I'm moving on to SAP System Administration (BASIS) and I have been fortunate (thanks to this thread) to get most of the official training materials required for my next certification: SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration (Oracle DB) with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Just wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone who has contributed to this thread in one way or the other. And to all fellow BASIS 'aspirants' interested in the training materials I've got, drop your email so i can send you a download link. |

Fhemmmy:lol. its actually the "caskets" i need at the moment for a local transportation business. too bad u dont deal in such. |
@ Fhemmmy Do u also deal in buses? If yes , for how much can u get a very sound Volkswagen Transporter T3 (Fedeco) delivered to me in Lagos? |
Briz:Am interested in BASIS too but i am based in PH. How did u get the IDES? I hear it can be downloaded from amaderforum but its seems registration has been disabled on the site. Pls can u help out? I need to begin ASAP. |
power2009:thanks for the info , but i can't register on the site because registration has been disabled by the administrator. has it always been like this? i really need to get access to the treasures inside, any ideas how i can achieve this? |
Wrong section, would be better off in "webmasters". Did u actually agree to pay a whooping N5m for that site (www.37ports.com)? I just checked it out and am still finding it hard to believe! |
Oga Lee, am still expecting your reply (regarding SRD). I sent u my number. Pls text so i can call u. |
teekays:Great to know , are u scheduled for PH too? |
@ teekay, Are u also awaiting SRD? Mine is coming up later this week, any fresh tips for me? Wat position did u apply for? |
Hi guys, its getting too quiet in here, no more interviews? Pls lets keep this thread rolling. Its been quite informative and i personally have gained a lot from it! So lets keep posting updates. @ lee007, how did ur SRD go? @ trbrown, where av u been? got the mail yet? praying 4 u, u knw. |
@ Trbrown, keep trusting Him. You'll get a call soon cos He never fails. Hope ur getting prepared sha? |
lee007:Thanks lee007 , Wish you all the best too. How far with preparations for ur SRD next week? Are u having it in Lagos or PH? Trbrown:Sorry about the long silence, my internet service was disrupted all along but thank God am back. My interview went very fine, thanks to God and useful tips i got on this thread. I am now awaiting SRD. What's up with you? Have u been invited for SRD? |
lee007:Yeah , He sure is very real! By His Grace and thanks to ur tips, my interview was a breeze! God set the right atmosphere for me , my interview was more like a business chat between friends. We (the interview and I) ended up chatting for over 1hr cos we were "enjoying" each other. It was really God at work! Well well , long and short of it is that i got a success mail two days after my interview. Waiting for SRD now , |
Trbrown:Sorry about the long silence , my internet connection went bananas! My interview went fine. The scenario was just as lee007 described. His tips were really helpful and I wish to say a big thank you to him! Hmmn , I would say I got favoured (by God) cos my interviewer made it quite easy for me. Right from the moment i stepped into the interview room, he started out with me on an informal mode and to my surprise we just chatted throughout the interview session like friends talking business (imagine that!). The most challenging aspect was the "Capacity" part where i was required to analyse an issue , I ran out of ideas at some point but thank God for the friendly mood already created which prevented it from being so glaring. Two days after my interview I got a mail notifying me i would be invited for SRD soon. My bro, it was just God oh! Have u been invited for SRD yet? |

lee007:Thanks lee , pls keep 'em coming, as much as u can remember. I got my interview scheduled for Friday. |
