Shame On us All I cannot claim to be privy to anymore information than everyone already has. My heart goes out to the family of the deceased and I hope they find fortitude for the loss of their breadwinner. But this young lady here! As a father my heart aches to see her in this distress and mess. I've seen the gruesome comments on social media. This wasnt just an event, she arrived here. This has been building up. This person has committed an act that may not describe who she really might be. I hear stories young ladies from challenged backgrounds share with me. It takes grace and unusual class for many girls to stay off the Aristo-highway- especially those who have the dilemma of being endowed by nature beautifully on one hand and yet raised and socialised in poverty on the other. I am not excusing her behaviour, i am only asking society to reflect on the deeper malaise that is eating up the soul of the society and turning the streets into breeding grounds for rapists, drug addicts, cultists, murderers, many of whom are only babies . This shames us all. Shame to those philandering sugar daddies with morbid libidos, who exploit girls for sexual favours rather than provide scholarships and support. Shame to the police who violated this girl's rights and put her in front of a ravenous media grunting for spoil. Shame on all the institutions of state and religion who failed young people like her. The lack of humanity in those institutions and their policies has failed a generation- No student loans, no scholarships, no safe spaces, no welfare/social security programmes, nothing. All we have is the grasslands of the savannahs where you eat or get eaten. Justice will be served and she will take responsibility for her actions because in the end she failed herself as well. But in her judgement, we all stand indicted. Dont wait for a scandal to erupt and give transducers and fly-by-night jury of social media a field day. Pay attention to young people in your community today . Johnson Abali |

Good morning dear all, please do not transfer any money to any of my accounts for now. If you need to send money, contact me so I can give you another account. I was in the office yesterday 25th June and while my assistant and I went to attend to a generator person in the kitchen a stranger walked into the office at about 12noon in the presence of my computer and GRE students who didn't know he was a thief. A young boy in his 20s and dressed like a miscreant though according to them. He ended up stealing my phone and money on my desk. Immediately, i swung into action first thinking its in the office or any of classrooms. When I didn't couldn't find it, I went to the ATM to transfer some money from my access and first bank to a safe account leaving a few amount left though I couldn't transfer from my gtbank. I get about 10 Bank accounts o so no ask say why I no block my accounts. I was very confused and everything was happening so fast. I went to hopeless MTN's office at Idi-Ape at about 3pm to block and retrieve the line and was done by 6pm. I even bribed my way in o because the Crowd was large lol. In the evening after getting getting home, I discovered that the thief within 30 minutes of stealing the phone had bought mtn airtime of 19k on my line and had transferred it to another number. I called MTN and also went to their office and they refused to tell me the number the airtime was sent to from my line. I recorded the call which I will publish shortly Also, why would MTN allow ussd code to buy airtime of 19k without requesting pin. After purchase of 5k, MTN should have requested pin for further purchase Because I had retrieved my line and thinking my line was safe, i left the remaining money in my gtbank and first Bank and even the other banks. Total money no much Sha o. And now I woke up this morning 26th of June I discover that even after retrieving my line that is attached to my bank accounts, the bastard was still able to transfer money this morning again at about 7 30am and cleared the remaining balances on my gtbank and my first bank. He sent the money to: LYDIA OCHOLE ISAAC Acct: ******9961 Amt: 10,000.00 DR ,COMM+VAT= 26.88 Desc: REF TO Lydia Ochole Isaac Avail Bal: 980.60 First bank didn't give me the recipient details though. So I went to the police station to report the matter and also report MTN for their complacency and role in encouraging these evil acts so they can profit from it People thought it's someone who knew me and I laughed. It's not true. A business partner of mine had his phone stolen at ogba Lagos and his money of about 120k was transferred. Lagos police later paraded suspects who had specialty in stealing phones to hack the victims accounts. Also, last week, my student's Phone was stolen here in ibadan and they bought airtime of 19k into her line and transfered the airtime out. So the best thing is not too allow your phone to be stolen. They will remove your sim and place it in another phone and apply evil technology to hack your bank accounts. It's becoming too common in nearly all states. So don't think it's people who know you that can do such evil. They once did it to my dad in Lagos and cleared all his money. To prevent them, start using your sim pin. To activate it on Android, go to settings and then go to security. You will see your sim pin features there. Activate it. If you don't know your pin, go to your sim pack. It's there. If your pin is activated, anything you turn on your phone it will ask for sim pin. If your phone is stolen, they can't use your sim to hack your bank account because it will request for the pin and if they input the wrong pin 3 times, the sim will be blocked. So please do not send money to any of my accounts until further notice. I can always get the money through alternative account for now. On Monday I will go to my affected Banks to complain and then see what can be done. Thank you Please share so that others can learn |
You are just an idiot. This was not what happened. I live at Iwo Road area Ibadan. A phone seller was actually killed and a thug too was killed. So a total of 2 and not 3. Why call them Seyi's thug? You are a stupid APC lout trying to feed on a little misfortune. You are an idiot. 1nigeriamyfoot: |
