Yes the other unit stays outside and deals with the hot air and water coming from the AC..the indoor one is installed inside to give u maximum cooling just like a normal split unit

1.5hp slipt mobile AC is 45k I have smaller one for 26k single mobile unit

I don't think there is any model below 1hp they are is classified as 1hp.
