The political atmosphere in Rivers State is turbocharged. And looking at the top 2 contenders; Nyesom Wike (PDP) and Dakuku Peterside (APC)., one can simply tell who will carry the date, as predicted by Albert Einstein in 1896.
And from an unbiased assessment, Wike is a looser on arrival.

Since there will be only one winner... When Chief Dr Dakuku Peterside wins As Rivers State Governor; Chief Nweom Wike

1. Wike is known as an election machinery dan as a leader, hence he would continue to be placed as one.

2. The emergence of another Ikwerre man to take over from Chibuike Amaechi, who is also from Ikwerre is almost impossible. As such, he will never get d needed support.

3. The Fact that Wike is a product of the 1st Lady's imposition has put him at great disadvantage.

4. There is an impending implosion is the PDP. Hence Wike is at risk of loosing important figures.

5. Wike is generally toutish in nature. His inglorious alignment wit ex-COMPOL Mbu to unleash mayhem in Rivers is still fresh in d minds of Rivers pple. Hence this is payback time.

6. Wike's opponent in the person of Peterside is seen as more urbane, disciplined and trusted right from his foray as a lawmaker.
