It is no wonder that we have tremendous amount of people who don't believe in God's existence. Yet we live in a world with quite a no of faithful believers with who have encountered the true God in their closet of which i am not exempted.

Describing the encounter might not be easy cos the things one experiences in the spiritual world are most of the time too strong for words to describe.

Needless to say that the gospel of Christ Jesus is the most important and sweetest message on the planet earth.

Though the account might be arcane, sophistries of the agnostics and atheists may argue its veracity by casting aspersions on those who believe it, judging them to be gullible and tagging them to be too credulous to believe the so called cooked up or fabricated stories of the ancient idle carvers and farmers.

In the real sense, those who don't believe are the gullible ones who willfully yield themselves to the god of this world(Satan) , Satan in his own infinite hatred, finite wisdom and limited power blinds the unbelievers' mind, preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image and likeness of God. ( 2nd Corinthians 4:4)
Anyways, 1 Corinthian 18 affirms that for those who perish, the preaching of the word is foolishness; but for those who are saved, it is power of God.

Verse 21 tells us that God(in his infinite wisdom) is pleased with the foolishness of the preaching to save those whose who believe.
This act of gospel may sound foolish,it is the way God intended to save you.


What cud bring you under the illusion that there is no God when the whole universe is full of His glory, signs and wonders of the creation , immutability of His counsel and prophecies, when the whole world is full of countless unquestionable pieces of evidence that there is a super natural cause and a supreme being who began the beginning before the beginner began Who was, who is, and who is coming in the fullness of time (2nd peter 3.9.9 Rev 22.12)

The living God in His infinite and unconditional love unlimited power is calling on you today to acknowledge Him into you life.
he is pleased to welcome you into His joyous family in Heaven while you are still on earth.
He is calling you to put off your old sinful nature and share in His nature

Calling you to cast all your worries,cares and anxieties on Him

He loves us so much that He delivered His dear unto the world so that those who believe in Him might be saved from the impending perdition

Ephesians 4:18 - " Unbelievers are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of ignorance that is in them due to THE HARDENING OF THEIR HEARTS."

Do not labour under the philosophies of men that cast itself against the redemption plan of God to save the world through His dear Son

Seek God today with the whole of your heart and you will find out that He is real and living.

There's a bill on the floor of the House of Representatives to scrap the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) as we know it.

The bill is sponsored by Hon Awaji-Inombek Abiante (PDP) who represents the Andoni-Opobo/Nkoro Federal Constituency of Rivers state in the Green Chamber.

The bill has passed a first reading and has two more readings to go before we can deem it near successful.

What is the NYSC?

The NYSC is a service scheme mandatory for graduates of Nigeria's tertiary institutions before their 30th birthdays.

Each year, graduates are asked to serve their country for an entire year under the NYSC programme.
These graduates are posted to schools, hospitals, clinics, banks and other private and public establishments, where they complement the workforce.

After Nigeria's civil war, then military President Yakubu Gowon established the NYSC scheme in 1973 as a way of reconciling, reuniting and rebuilding a broken nation.

Statutorily under the scheme, young graduates from Nigeria's south are posted to the north and vice versa.

The idea is to make these young people experience another part of the country, make new friends and probably inter-marry.


What has become of the NYSC so far?

The scheme has been largely successful.
However, like every good thing, it has been open to abuse and manipulation as the years have rolled by.
Young graduates now pay money to avoid being posted to states or regions they do not fancy; and to be posted to states that are considered "happening" or cities that are brimming with commerce.

As Nigeria's insecurity woes have deteriorated, with terrorism and banditry gaining a foothold in the northern region, some parents now pay huge sums of money to ensure that their children aren't posted to serve the nation in the restive north.

There have been sundry reports of corps members being killed in restive regions or being caught in the crossfire as local communities, terrorists and law enforcement clash.

Corps members have also been killed in road accidents or by robbers as they commute to areas of primary assignments.
Why does the House of Reps want to scrap the programme?

Rep Abiante's bill seeks to repeal section 315 (5)(a) of the 1999 constitution which establishes the NYSC and its enabling act.

And the lawmaker has cited escalating insecurity and young people being put in harm's way, as some of the reasons why he drafted the bill.

For children of the rich, how many of them would want to go to Sokoto or Yobe? It is still the children of the poor that are sent to those places (where) they are butchered,” he says.

The NYSC, he argues “has failed to address the essence of its establishment while several reform efforts have also not yielded desired results."

He is also pursuing this bill with single minded determination because of “incessant killing of innocent corps members in some parts of the country due to banditry, religious extremism and ethnic violence; incessant kidnapping of innocent corps members across the country at their places of primary assignment and in transit.

“Public and private agencies and departments are no longer recruiting able and qualified Nigerian youths, thus relying heavily on the availability of corps members who are not being well remunerated and get discarded with impunity at the end of their service year without any hope of being gainfully employed," Abiante adds.

What's next now?

Remember that this NYSC repeal bill is still some way before it becomes law or an Act of the National Assembly.

It has to go through three readings in the House, there will be committee hearings, the senate has to agree with it and the nation's President has to assent to or sign it, before the nation's intending graduates or disenchanted parents can heave a sigh of relief.
There's still a long road ahead for this one...

I told her ,young lady don't try to manipulate me into submission, who trusting you help,she started her quarrel, I look at her and laugh,then apologise to her for trying to invade her privacy which I already did unknown to her,which was the main reason I asked her for the password ..after a week ,she started forming so much caring and love and me was just laughing in my mind and showing same towards her,for her mind ,I don catch this mugu..
Until she asked for the iPhone, I bought for her,that was when she knew wahala dy ,I just jejely and peacefully told I can't give her the phone again..I told her keep your facebook password to yourself and I will keep my phone to my self. she thought I was joking because of the love I had for her and my soft mind[b] ,but ladies and gentlemen ,I can happily tell you people, that the phone is still with me inside its carton [/b]...since march 2020 that I bought it....
