Politics / Re: Doyin Okupe: Atiku To Travel To US By End Of November by Neutrality: 5:31pm On Nov 05, 2018
kidman96:
I used to think the Nigerian politicians are the major problem with this country, but the last few years have thought me different. The ordinary everyday Nigerians are the problem with the country.
Its absolutely sicking to see Nigerians craving and yearning publicly for PDP and their criminal lot back to power even though there are other political parties with presidential aspirants running for presidency.
We prayed for a strong man to handle our corrupt politicians and we got President Buhari. A man with the will and guts to make decisions and take actions he thinks is best for the country regardless of public opinion which would likely affect his re election bid. Today these same Nigerians who are the direct victims of these criminals allow themselves to be manipulated by the criminal politicians who have been restricted from looting the national treasury and are desperate to get back to power...PMB will likely lose the next election and Atiku will be elected. This means PDP with all their criminals back in power. The next election under PDP will not be free and fair as we already know how elections under PDP are conducted, which means Nigerians are stuck with PDP for the foreseeable future.
Nigerians are more concerned about their stomach, their today and would vote in any government that will put food on their table today even though this same government is eating away their future. Nigerians don't appreciate or comprehend the concept of delayed gratification they don't appreciate the essence of making sacrifices to for a better tomorrow. They want Nigeria to become the united states or united kingdom overnight but aren't willing to make the collective sacrifices as citizens to get there.
This shows Nigeria will continue to get corrupt politicians and they deserve nothing better.

IamaNigerianGuy:
Because Nigerians are generally of unintelligent and are prone to making bad decisions.

Why single out Atiku for corruption ? There is no clean politician in Nigeria. PMB claims to be clean but he smells like a cows arse. Examine deeply Buharis history and you see stealing on a large scale since the 1970's.

Atiku saved Nigeria's democracy when he stopped Objs third term bid and that is his main crime - the crime for which Obj has destroyed his name. The claim that Atiku must go to the US to be eligible for election shows how mentally colonized some people still are. Nigeria is not a US satellite, the corruption in America is leagues ahead of what we could ever imagine in Nigeria.. Prime Minister Modhi of India could not enter the US before his election.

Nigeria can not get an incorrupt leader : such a creature does not exist. What we need is a person who can douse ethnic tensions, revitalize the country, re-energize the economy and stop the nightmare of APC. Atiku has proved his mettle as a politician, businessman and leader. He has what it takes to lead Nigeria away from the path we are headed. A path characterized by loss of value for life or law.

Sometimes I think I am living a nightmare : how any sane person support Buhari and his second term bid is beyond me. The man is a murderous, senile jihadist. But as I said before, Nigerians make unintelligent choices.

You know what ? Let's vote for PMB in 2019. Who cares ? We evidently are a people who were put on earth to suffer.
If u're a good adviser u should av persuaded him (Atiku) to proof himself to the world that he's innocent of what his critics are singing, let him jst travel 2d US jst like d 1st lady (AISHA BUHARI)did

Politics / Re: APC Can’t Return To Aso Rock In 2019 - Tambuwal by Neutrality: 10:22am On Sep 02, 2018
EmekaMD:
So one point to take home is that both the pro and the anti Buhari groups all agreed on one thing. That Buhari hasn't achieved anything in the last 3yrs..
The area where they disagree is that while the pro Buhari group, though admitting that Buhari has failed in the first term, wants another term for him, arguing that he needs another term to be able to make some achievements, the anti Buhari's doesn't want another term for him..

Now my question is why would anyone be interested in a man that admittedly had 4yrs and failed to make any single achievement? Instead things deteriorated.

Would you give that man another chance if you hired such man as a CEO of your company? If no then why should Nigerians hire him again?.

Now why would people keep making excuses for Buhari's failure? Is that what Bob Marley called mental slavery?

When I see people reason this way I jus wanna offer them to Amadioha as burnt offering..

The fact is that a second term for Buhari is gonna be worst than this first term.
He's just a power drunk dotard who wants to die in power..
tnx 4 ur time, we don hea, but no vex his assumed failure is far beta dan d virtual suces of d past leaders

I see many foolish people rejoicing over nothing on this thread! Call me wailer or any other thing you wish. I use yuan directly and I know how it bites!

Immediately Buhari took over power, my parents couldn't pay my school fees anymore. Same with thousands on self-sponsored students here in China. Feeding and living allowance became war! The consolation is that "we had to suffer first and gain later". Is this eventually what it is

I'm really sad at this developement after two long years of waiting for Buhari's miracle.

You met yuan at 33 per naira. You pushed it up to 57, 58, at some point it was 60RMB per naira! Now we are supposed to be singing and clapping and jumping at 49 and 50naira? Is that madness

Please kindly bring it back to where you met me and don't tell me any oil prices nonsense!
Try appreciate someone's efforts 4 a while

So...

APC shared 5k each to 197,459 people who voted for them.

PDP shared 3k each to 178,037 people who voted for them.

5k x 197,459 = 987,295,000naira

3k x178,037 = 534,111,000naira

Whenever you see someone from Ekiti complained about not having Light, Water and Hospitals... Just give them this
It a pitty how ppl sold their future for stipends, but d most annoying part is that Ekiti is known 2b a fountain of knwldge, but how come its always in bad naraties?

Religion / Re: Can God Still Forgive Me? I Did Very Awful Things In The University by Neutrality: 11:45pm On May 31, 2017
beardlessdude:
I'm a very bad person, I feel like am going to be punished for all what i did within 2007-2012 as an undergraduate.
I can remember my 100lvl when I first got admission (pls i wont mention the name of school here), I found a guy to share room with off campus, we contributed 40k each and rented a house, after first semester; I realized that I needed more space to be able to bring my babes home without disturbance (my roomie was so 'churchy'), so i tried poisoning my roommate, I added copious amount of rat poison to his soup. Unfortunately for me, he noticed, I came up with a silly excuse that I was fumigating the room and the poison might have entered his food. I even went as far as hiring some touts to stab him at night, it didn't work. When all my plans to kill him failed, I burnt the house with all his properties inside including his birth certificate, O'level result, everything he owned while pretending it was an accident. I secured my own luggages and moved out. I now look back and realize, I tried to kill my 1 in a million roomie just to have the tattered house that doesn't even have a toliet in it alone to myself, this guy never gave me any problem and that was how I payed him back. I keep wandering what I would have done with the dead body if I had killed my roomie, people would eventually notice. I always had this proclivity to do evil.

I relocated back to the hostel, found another enemy, stole his phone, sold it for 2,000 naira and acted like nothing happened.

I was always stealing money from my father's wardrobe then, (I didn't call it stealing back then because he was my father) I took money weekly,I can bet it could have amounted to 100k+

I stole an LG Television from a church close to my father's house ( N.B my father was verrrry rich but he just didn't give me enough money), I sold the TV also. Many other properties I stole I can't remember.

I was a rapist, as a 200 lvl student then, I raped a 500 lvl lady.

But i wasn't a dull student,
I got excellent grades in the university, graduated with a 4.2.

Here I am today, I have everything a man could ever need, I am NOT poor, been married for 2 years with a child BUT I feel my sins would revisit me or my kids.

God, help me, forgive me. Somebody! What can I do? Ooooh. Lord, I'm sorry.
my opinion is that try reach those you ofended and seek cor their forgivness 1st,as u rightly said that life is not treating u bad,u now hav to be kind to them aw well as seeking forgvness from God and never think or such evil again til u all dpart d surface of d earth,Your Lord is most gracious most merciful
