Maku is trying to protect his job because he felt threatened by the presence of Doyin Okupe. This once upon a time youth activist cares for nobody but his purse. The dog that will get loss, will not listen to the horn of the hunter. I rest my case. |
Accepted also, by those who don't fool themselves, is the fact that Tinubu is a 'man of ideas' while the political ruminations of most of our cretinous leaders consist of running to Abuja for allocation. Tinubu is an advocate of States increasing their IGR and relying less on the centre for developmental cash. He championed the usage of PPP (public private partnership) as a way to develop society using private sector cash. He introduced bond issuance as a way for States to raise funds at a stage other neanderthals laughed because their minds limited them to seeing Abuja as the only source of cash. I'm a keen follower of events as regards this subject-matter. Tinubu is not a saint but being human. I remember vividly how he got involved in virtually every development strides in the state. All new innovations into governance was introduced during his regime: PPP, Government bond, re-appraising govt every 100days, Lagos Mega city plan, BRT. |
Akhenaten: Wounded soldier attended by Igbo medic Biafra Nigeria 1968For a sovereign nation we proposed, there would be the need to convene all the ethnic divide within this confederation. |
2mch: I think Tinapa can work if it becomes a hub for the railways. That is every region has access to it by railway. Fast and efficient railways. Railways will become Nigeria's most secure form of transportation in years to come. The state government on its own can start promoting enterprenuership by providing loans to small scale enterprenuers who have property as collateral and giving them adequate time to repay the loans. They should prevent companies like Shoprite and Walmart from entering their state. Unlike my foolish state government of LagosThanks, You took the word from my mouth. Most of this capitalist big mart will further impoverish our people and kill local businesses. |
manchy7531: awolowo of all people the most reveren men in yoruba land becouse of his selfish enterest stood on the side of lies and deciet millions of peopel dead and chideren dead of hunger and deases.becouse of bread and butter he sold his conscience for devil it's a shame.did they make him president as they promise! today bakassi is no longer ours becouse of there propaganda and determination to wine the war by all means they won the war the oil they got it instead of this southern minorities to support igbo's for the good of all they allied with enemies of the nation and subject everybody as slave in our own land.the judgement is now befor God we shall see how the end will look like. In fact, you are what Prof. Jeyibo referred to as "Igilango Geesi". There's no doubt that you have first class from Dame Patience State University (DPSU), Okrika. Your facts are loose and incoherent. |
Bukkyade:I seldom respond to piece like this. If you recall, sometimes last year, Tinubu was tried and acquitted by a competent court of Jurisdiction. Now the question goes: Why is Tinubu's rising profile a treat to goons like you? This same man laid the foundation to the current development in Lagos. Let's even accept the said man is corrupt, but we are seeing the dividend of Governance and the Region (South-west) is relatively peaceful and growing at a steady rate. Mr/Mrs Perfect, do cast the first stone if you are a saint. Let's pray for God's intervention in our Polity and avoid wiping sentiments. |
atuboweke: Geez! The truth is unfolding gradually, Fashola and Tifnubu are really milking Lagos State dry and they have the gult to attack GEJ. Only time will tell.feedeefee goons. |

I understand they were given enough time to find an alternative and move out and I don't know if the government is supposed to pay you compensation for trying to fix something wrong you have done. Those shanties are more or less illegal structures destabilizing the drainage of the state. It's not just about Camerounians or other illegal immigrants living there, i'm sure there are more Nigerians than foreigners residing in those shanties. On whether Fash wld have accepted the treatment if his friend's were involved ? remember J.K Randle got the same treatment and Fashola told him to go do the right thing.
I dont know why PDP is sounding a discordant tune towards this. I have always know that "No pain, No Gain". Elites should have been called upon to mediate in this issue, to find or proffer a solution to ameliorate the sufferings of the just among the lots. Day-in, day-out, we are being woken up from our beds with "Global warming" yet some nonsensical politicians are busy casting aspersions. The Ajegunle axis towards Ikorodu, I guess is still very fresh in our minds, even all over the world govt are trying to curtail the sordid rise in water body. Let's paint a scenario: Would you want water to wash away most of our people or we pave way by clearing all the shanties? Over and out! |
Earlier this week, the news broke that the Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Mrs. Monsurat Sunmonu and wives of members of the assembly are in the United Kingdom for a training tour. Checks revealed that the trip was put in place for them to learn how to assist their husbands on the job under the guise of a “Women of Caliber” programme. I am of strong conviction that this is blackmail. going by the fact that: 1. The snap-shot of a London building was shown. 2. Group photograph of women in a class. 3. Presentation of awards by a white young man. What does all these portends to the reporter? Salient questions need to be asked this reporter viz: Is there fiscal prudency in the financial books of the state? Is the administration delivering the expected yields? At times, I wonder the kind of rubbish ppl put in NL. |
Billyonaire: Criticizing without recommendation is daft. |

Oya, let the planning and discussion begin!
Insha Allah, I will be part of this. |
