Nicolas Anelka will depart South Africa this evening. The forward was substituted at half-time in his country's 2-0 defeat to Mexico on Thursday, following a dispute with team coach Raymond Domenech. After discussions between the coach, player, and the French Football Federation delegation, it was agreed that the forward would return home. 'He will leave the Team France camp this evening,' said a statement on www.fff.fr, the Federation's official website. http://www.chelseafc.com/page/WorldCupNews/0,,10268~2074586,00.html |
England have lacked movement and have had only one real chance. Pity! |
I expect Fab to introduce Defoe at the beginning of second half |
Rooney is playing like a slightly better version of Yakubu England have had five shots on goal to Algeria's seven. |
This is the first Algeria match I will be watching and I must confess they have impressed so far. I really dont like Heskey in that team |
mikeansy:It wouldn't have been Capello's (and the nation's) business, was Bridge not a player in a team where Terry was the captain and the leader where he ought to set a good example and unite the team |
Isn't it so funny that quite many of us do not know our representative in various elective posts in this country. If you think this is an exaggeration, provide a Yes or No answer to these 5 questions 1. Do you know the councilor representing your ward? Yes/No 2. D you know your LG Chairman? 3. Do you know the Hon. Member representing you in the House of Assembly? 4. Do you know the member representing you at the House of Reps? 5. Do you know the senator representing your Senatorial Districts? At the end, let us know what you score over 5. |
From the setting, we were made to believe that the meeting was being held in the company’s board room. If this is the case, how come other members were unaware that such technology has been installed in the board room? I am sure the script of that advert was written by a nollywood actor. It is typical of nollywood home video: disjointed. The only thing he forgot to add at the end of it is: The story has just begun, Anyway, TO GOD BE THE GLORY.Source/Detail: http://www.waleworldwide.com/2010/06/that-mtn-e-presence-advert/ |

Those guys need to attack Gutierrez . He is not a right-back. Perhap we can get our headway through him. |
Prophet T B Joshua has predicted that South Africa will win this match by 1:0. I am watching to see the prediction coming to pass. |
Honestly, I am watching to see the coming to pass of this prediction by T B Joshua. Then I will respect him. |
The embattled Deji of Akure, Oba Oluwadare Adeshina, has been deposed. Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko on Thursday deposed the monarch and banished him from the city of Akure for a period of 6 months, in the first instance. The deposed monarch was alleged to have engaged in a street fight with his estranged wife, Bolanle, on Sunday, May 30, 2010. He was said to have left the palace in company with his current queen, Remi Abiola, two of his chiefs and some young men suspected to be thugs, to pick up a quarrel with Bolanle, who now resides in her father‘s house on Hospital Road. Minutes before the decision to depose him was announced by the state government after an Executive Council meeting presided over by the State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, the monarch was arrested by a team of armed policemen led by John Mark, the Officer in Charge of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Ondo Police Command. Sources at the Police Command said the deposed monarch would be tried for assault against his wife, Olori Bolanle who presently is undergoing treatment at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Owo for chemical burns. At the press conference where the deposition was announced, the Commissioner for Information, Ranti Akerele, his Chieftancy Affairs counterpart, Diran Iyantan and the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Eyitayo Jegede, said government acted in the interest of the general public. Akerele said the kingmakers have been directed to nominate three regents from the Ruling House to the state government to enable the state executive council approve the best that would handle the affairs of the town pending the formal selection of a new monarch who will emerge through the acceptable tradition and norms of the town According to a release by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State Kolawole Olabisi, the State Executive Council has subsequently directed the Akure Kingmakers and the Akure South Local Government to immediately commence the process that would lead to the emergency and installation of a new Deji of Akure. And in order to forestall the breakdown of law and order and protect the rights of others, Oba Adepoju was banished and ordered not to step into Akure Township for a period of six months in the first instance by the State Executive Council. ''Council in its decision, which it based on the provisions of Section 17 (1) and (2) of the Chiefs law 1984 as amended that vested the State Executive Council with the powers to suspend or depose any chief if it considers such suspension or deposition to be reasonably justifiable, noted the outrage, protest and condemnation that greeted Oba Adepoju’s conduct as demonstrated by the protest embarked upon by the National Council of Women Societies, the Federation of Women lawyers among others.'' There is every indication that the FGN through its agency responsible for lottery promotions in Nigeria has directed all GSM companies in Nigeria to stop all GSM lotteries forthwith. I observed that Mobile Thieves in Nigeria (MTN) has not sent me their cajoled sms since morning, only for me to see Mr. Peter Igho, the agency's DG on national television (NTA) this evening issuing the directives. Although coming a little bit late, it is better late than never. The agency should however go a step further by investigating all claims since the beginning of the promos. This should also be extended to all lotteries in Nigeria because they are too good to be true. |
