Unknown gunmen have killed a Peoples Democratic Party youth leader in Imo state.

According to Punch, the victim has been identified as Kenneth Amukamara.

In four months, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency intercepted drugs worth over N90 billion and arrested 2,175 drug traffickers, according to its chairman, retired Brig.-Gen. Buba Marwa.
Marwa made the announcement during a ceremony in Abuja on Monday to honor the best-performing commands in March and April and to deliver commendation letters to exceptional officers and men.

Marwa stated that the agency had spent the previous four months putting in place a variety of measures aimed at repositioning the agency, with a focus on bolstering the capability of its officers.
